Julexis. I loved them so. Then Jean and Shelly ruined them. They took them, stuck them in a blender and hit the crush button. Then dropped them in the garbage disposal and turned it on.

Now Shelly and Chris are trying to pull them out and put a band aid on it and say it's all better. And not even a good band aid. A band aid made of Scotch tape and toilet paper.

His use of the excuse that his sister forced him to do it is bill because he fantasized about drowning her. He said nothing to no one about what was going on, and he could've. He isn't surrounded by powerless people. Jason, while not still in the mob, had connections to it that could've helped. Sam has her own connections. If they were aware of what was going on, they could've put some kind of security in place while helping Julian. So, I can't really ship them anymore.

Watching Alexis spiral into a bottle, and barely pull herself back out, all because of him, has made it that way. She was destroyed and he doesn't seem to have been affected much at all. Sam and scout almost died as a side effect of his refusal to talk. And while some will say it's because of Jason, remember, Olivia was apparently threatening his family anyway. Who's to say it wouldn't have happened even if Jason wasn't looking into Morgan's death.

And this isn't me being unable to see that this is fiction. I can. I've forgiven A LOT in order to still ship Jasam. Dude threatened to kill Sam. She watched his kid be kidnapped. He was gonna cover up her hit and run if Liz had turned out to be the one to hit her. Don't get me started on 2012. And they're still my OTP. So I can forgive.

But I won't forgive the mental torture of the way Julian "pretended" to try to kill Alexis. He used the dagger that was used to cut her mother's throat, and was gonna do the same thing to her. That and the fantasy are what crossed the line for me.

So, I don't enjoy julexis scenes. I don't find Alexis's longing for Julian to be sweet, or romantic, I find it pathetic. I see it as an insult. And that explanation she gave for not being able to get past that made it worse. Being able to say, "well he's just as emotionally damaged as me" is not a good excuse for abuse. There is no excuse for abuse. Ever.
