Questa è la sigla di chiusura di Word of Honor, scritta dalla sceneggiatrice Xiao Chu e cantata da Zhang Zhehan (Zhou Zishu) e Gong Jun (Wen Kexing).

È una canzone lunga e piena di riferimenti poetici, e per questo la sua traduzione ha richiesto più impegno del solito. Non sono nemmeno sicura di averli compresi tutti, ma ho fatto del mio meglio.

Come per tutte le canzoni e le poesie scritte in cinese, è difficile rendere perfettamente in italiano ciò che una lingua così concisa e “visiva” vuole esprimere, e che spesso comunica in modo ambiguo e metaforico. Questa traduzione cerca di restare il più vicino possibile al testo originale ma è inevitabile che vi sia anche un po’ della mia interpretazione personale.

[1] Come già spiegato in altre traduzioni, 江湖 Jiānghú, letteralmente “fiumi e laghi”, è un termine intraducibile. Si riferisce a quel mondo, quella parte di società che si colloca al di fuori delle corti dove risiede il potere politico, e spesso si pone in contrapposizione a esso. Il concetto di Jianghu va a braccetto con il genere 武侠 Wǔxiá: coloro che fanno parte del Jianghu sono vagabondi, cavalieri e viandanti che vivono una vita libera e spesso ribelle basata sulle arti marziali.

[2] Quasi sicuramente questo è un riferimento a un verso della poesia 苏小小墓 “La tomba della piccola Su” del poeta 李贺 Li He, che recita 西陵下，风吹雨 “Sotto al tumulo occidentale, il vento sbuffa la pioggia”. Nella poesia, il luogo dove si trova la tomba evoca nella mente del poeta una sorta di immagine del fantasma della piccola Su, che può far pensare al “fantasma” Wen Kexing.

[3] La seconda parte di questo verso viene dalla poesia 无题二首 “Secondo poema senza titolo” di 李商隱 Li Shangyin (poeta della dinastia Tang che WKX stesso cita nel drama).

[4] È un verso della poesia 泊船瓜洲 “Attraccare a Guazhou” di 王安石 Wang Anshi, qui leggermente modificato nella forma.

[5] Riferimento al Maniero delle Quattro Stagioni, 四季山庄, la casa di Zhou Zishu che ha un ruolo importante anche nel passato di Wen Kexing.

[6] Le due citazioni contenute in questo verso sono entrambe tratte dalla poesia 秋思 “Pensieri d’autunno” di 马致远 Ma Zhiyuan, della dinastia Yuan. Penso che il senso del verso sia di trasformare un’immagine arida e desolata in una accogliente, piena d’acqua e serenità.

[7] Questo verso è probabilmente un riferimento ai genitori di Wen Kexing. In cinese le scapole vengono chiamate 蝴蝶骨 “ossi farfalla”. Nel drama WKX parla sia delle scapole di ZZS, ammirandole, sia delle scapole di sua madre in riferimento al modo in cui fu uccisa. Il nome di suo padre era 如玉 Ruyu, che significa “come giada”.

[8] C’è una sottile differenza con il verso quasi uguale più sopra: 不再辜负 “non deludiamo”, un invito, qui diventa 再不辜负 “non deluderemo”, una promessa. Ho applicato questa nuova sfumatura anche alla traduzione del verso successivo.

[9] Dalla poesia 登高 “Salendo in altura” del poeta Tang 杜甫 Du Fu.

[10] Dalla poesia 自遣 “Consolando me stesso” del poeta Tang 罗隐 Luo Yin.

Kingdom, annunciato lo staff al lavoro sulla terza stagione dell’anime

La serie animata tratta dal popolare manga di Yasuhisa Hara tornerà con i nuovi episodi da aprile 2020.

Svelata una prima immagine promozionale per l’attesa terza stagione di “Kingdom”, la serie animata tratta dal popolare manga di Yasuhisa Hara, edito in Italia da J-POP.

L’anime tornerà con i nuovi episodi da aprile 2020 e vedrà un nuovo staff al lavoro sul progetto, sotto la supervisione dell’autore stesso. La nuova stagione è infatti diretta da Kenichi Imaizumi (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Houkago Saikoro Club) presso Studio Signpost (precedentemente conosciuto come Pierrot Plus). La sceneggiatura è curata da Noboru Takagi (Altair: A Record of Battles, Golden Kamuy), mentre il character design è ad opera di Hisashi Abe (Berserk, Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System).

La serie adatterà l’arco narrativo Gasshougun-hen raccontato dal volume numero 25 al 32 del manga. Per quanto riguarda il cast Masakazu Morita, Jun Fukuyama e Rie Kugimiya sono stati confermati nei rispettivi ruoli di Li Xin, Ying Zheng e He Liao Diao.

Migliaia di anni sono passati dai tempi delle leggende, in cui il mondo degli uomini e quello degli dei erano così vicini da essere tutt'uno ed erano i sogni a cambiare la realtà . Erano i tempi della ‘Guerra dei 500 anni’, il periodo degli stati combattenti. Kingdom è la storia di un ragazzo di nome Xin, che si trasformò in un grande generale, e di tutte le prove che sostenne per afferrare il suo destino.

Hara ha lanciato l’opera sulle pagine di Weekly Young Jump nel 2006 e ad ora Shueisha ne ha pubblicato 55 volumi; l’autore ha affermato che sta considerando di proseguire fino a raggiungere i 100 numeri.

La prima stagione dell’anime prodotto da Studio Pierrot (Black Clover, Mr. Osomatsu), composta da 38 episodi, è andata in onda dal 2012 al 2013, seguita subito dopo da una seconda stagione di 39 puntate. Il manga ha anche ispirato un film live action, diretto da  Shinsuke Sato (già regista dei film con attori in carne ed ossa di Gantz, Death Note, Bleach e I am a Hero), uscito in Giappone lo scorso aprile.

Kingdom, il cast confermato finora per la terza stagione dell’anime

La serie tv basata sul celebre manga di Yasuhisa Hara tornerà in primavera.

Pubblicati sul sito ufficiale dell’anime bozzetti e doppiatori dei personaggi che torneranno con l’attesa terza stagione di “Kingdom”, affiancati da alcune new entry. 

La serie animata tratta dal popolare manga di Yasuhisa Hara, edito in Italia da J-POP, ritornerà in onda con i nuovi episodi da aprile e vedrà un nuovo staff al lavoro sul progetto, sotto la supervisione dell’autore stesso.

La nuova stagione adatterà l’arco narrativo Gasshougun-hen raccontato dal volume numero 25 al 32 del manga ed è diretta da Kenichi Imaizumi (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Houkago Saikoro Club) presso Studio Signpost (precedentemente conosciuto come Pierrot Plus). La sceneggiatura è curata da Noboru Takagi (Altair: A Record of Battles, Golden Kamuy), mentre il character design è ad opera di Hisashi Abe (Berserk, Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System).

Migliaia di anni sono passati dai tempi delle leggende, in cui il mondo degli uomini e quello degli dei erano così vicini da essere tutt'uno ed erano i sogni a cambiare la realtà . Erano i tempi della ‘Guerra dei 500 anni’, il periodo degli stati combattenti. Kingdom è la storia di un ragazzo di nome Xin, che si trasformò in un grande generale, e di tutte le prove che sostenne per afferrare il suo destino.

Hara ha lanciato l’opera sulle pagine di Weekly Young Jump nel 2006 e ad ora Shueisha ne ha pubblicato 55 volumi; l’autore ha affermato che sta considerando di proseguire fino a raggiungere i 100 numeri.

La prima stagione dell’anime prodotto da Studio Pierrot (Black Clover, Mr. Osomatsu), composta da 38 episodi, è andata in onda dal 2012 al 2013, seguita subito dopo da una seconda stagione di 39 puntate. Il manga ha anche ispirato un film live action, diretto da  Shinsuke Sato (già regista dei film con attori in carne ed ossa di Gantz, Death Note, Bleach e I am a Hero), uscito in Giappone lo scorso aprile.
