Fun Fact
Kazakhstan’s Minister of Communications and Informatics has blocked the Tumblr site because it contained 60 sites of terrorism, extremism, and pornography in 2015.
There's few things cuter than figs holding dolls! This set in particular is super, super adorable.
The inspiration for this is the interview for Zhang Zhehan and Gong Jun's joint Happy Camp appearance to promote Word of Honor.
They're checking out their character's official Rua 10cm dolls!
These two, I swear. I love everything to do with Happy Camp so much!
...and so does everyone else, based on my entire shelf of Happy Camp figs! And more are still on the way.
These two cuddled their dolls all the way across the ocean, arriving safe and sound.
And here they are! Looking super, super cute. I absolutely love the poses here, with Junjun holding his doll in both hands (like the picture) and Zhehan holding his out in his palms.
I was able to prop up these figs to take the first pics, but there was no way these two were going to be able to stand up on their own. These figs are heavy! Since they are unbalanced they would definitely fall over. They got glued down immediately.
I was trying to think of the best way to say, there's a lot going on with Zhehan's pants, but I can't quite figure it out. I think we need a pic of what Zhehan is wearing.
Ah yes, these ones! I swear they almost look like overalls. Anyway, the fig maker did a great job adding in the extra design elements of these jeans (that's a good way to say it!).
I like the detail in the shoes too, which we now can compare to the full-length pics (sorry they're not better quality).
I will tell you that until these figs, I never realized either of them had anything on the backs of their shirts. In fact, looking at the pictures and various videos I still don't see the image on the back of Gong Jun's shirt except for this one video:
And there it is, sure enough. Ahaha, hearing Junjun mutter, Wo de tian never fails to put a smile on my face!
The slightly stockier "fat body" style is super cute - makes these already adorable figures even more so!
The fig maker did such a nice job here with the tiniest of details, like the colors on the shirts.
I love how they did Zhehan's spiky short hair here!
Too, too cute! I'll get a close up in there of the dolls for you:
The scale on these dolls are tiny. They did a good job making them look like the Rua dolls - I'm impressed they got the detail they did!
These figs look like they should stand up well with those nice wide feet.
Zhehan being a little bit shorter makes him even cuter!
I'm really happy the dolls are attached to their hands and I did not have to try to wrangle the dolls into their hands. Zhehan's doll would have been ok but I do not even want to try to imagine trying to wedge Junjun's doll in his hands.
A+ for these figs! I am just so charmed by them. I have another set of figs with dolls on order, but they are still in production. Still, I'm looking forward to them!
Huang Weide, the founder of Qingtai fireworks: The moment the fireworks bloomed in the sky, his mother laughed happily, and Huang Weide also laughed.

She is a woman who has endured hardships. She was born in a time of war, and grew up in a time of poverty and hunger. Her name is Chen Yulan.
她是个历经磨难的女人,出生在战乱的时代,成长在贫穷饥饿的年代。她叫陈玉兰。
In her youth, Chen Yulan was introduced to marry a innocent and honest man and gave birth to a pair of children. When she felt that happiness finally came to her, her husband died unexpectedly when her son was just four years old , and her daughter was just a baby.
The bumpy fate, bumpy experience, defeated this honest woman. She cried with a pair of children who were heartbreaking and fainted. When she woke up, the son stood by the bed and took a glass of water. She drank, pointed to the window and said to her, "Mom, look, it's Chinese New Year, Fireworks outside are so beautiful. "
Chen Yulan wiped her tears out and hugged her son and daughter tightly ...
陈玉兰擦干眼泪,紧紧的抱紧儿子和女儿……
Since then, this innocent woman has carried the family and worked hard. She wish to allow her children to eat and eat, and to put a few firecrackers with her children during the New Year and the New Year.
The fireworks of the year his father died and the tears of his mother were like a deep mark in Huang Weide's heart. Watching his mother toil day and night for their livelihood, her mother ’s sweat and increasingly emaciated body, in the third grade of elementary school, Huang Weide dropped out of school to work as a petty worker in a firecracker factory and took the initiative to choose the most dangerous job of adding gunpowder to the firecrackers, only for one day. Make a few more cents to help mothers feed their families.
Hard-working and hard-working Huang Weide became a master of firework technology from a small piece worker. At that time, his biggest wish was: mothers should not be so hard, family members can eat every day, and they can accompany fireworks with their mother and sister during the Chinese New Year.
The spring breeze of reform and opening up finally came to Liuyang, and Huang Weide opened a small fireworks workshop at home. Over the years, Huang Weide and his mother often donated the grain and rice in their homes to the villagers who had no food in the village. Because of their goodwill, many people took the initiative to work for Huang Weide. There are major events, small events, happy events, and festivals in the village, and the villagers will come to Huang Weide's home to buy fireworks and firecrackers. Huang Weide's fireworks workshop soon became popular.
Huang Weide's diligence and hard work, good deeds and charities, won the hearts of the people. When Liuyang's first private factory, the Liuyang Cement Plant, was completed, everyone recommended him to be the plant manager. In the era when everyone still had a monthly salary of 30 yuan, Huang Weide let a little-known private factory achieve an annual profit of more than 6 million and export it to the world.
That year was also Chinese New Year. Huang Weide helped his mother to stand at the door and watch the children set off fireworks. I saw a child in his t-shirt about 10 years old, holding a bowl in his hand and looking aside, dazzled, his eyes filled with hope and happiness. Huang Weide's eyes were wet. He seemed to see his childhood. He remembered the tears that his mother shed in the New Year and the fear in their hearts.
He took a large bowl of food and handed it to the begging child, then took out all the money in his pocket and gave it to the child, and said to him, "Child, go home, have a reunion dinner with the family, put firecrackers." Looking back at her mother, her eyes were full of tears, but her face was filled with a reassuring smile.
Looking at the colorful fireworks in the sky, Huang Weide wiped away his tears and decided to return to the fireworks industry. This splendid firework describes the people's simple wish for Guotai and Min'an, and a beautiful expectation for a happy life. This beautiful firework bears witness to the happiness and reunion of the common people and the beautiful pursuit of the future.
He named his firework career-Qingtai. Huang Weide hopes to devote all life and energy to this cause that can bring hope and happiness to people. Helping more people have joy and happiness is also his mother's pursuit and desire for life.
Now Huang Weide is making fireworks again. I wish that not only my family can have enough food, but also that every place in the world where fireworks bloom, there are children with happy smiles; sweethearts accompanied by lovers; have relatives The happy smiley face of reunion has the joy of people at the time of celebration; the expectation of hope at the time of loneliness; the old people's memories of past happy moments.
The beautiful fireworks can bring people happiness and auspiciousness, and can bring people good hope. The beautiful fireworks are the wisdom of the Chinese, the Chinese belief in happiness, and the best gift the Chinese give to the world.
Huang Weide inherited his mother's diligence, hard work, good deeds, and filial piety. In order to fulfill his mother's wish, he spent 20 years developing Qingtai Fireworks from a small private factory at a growth rate of more than 30% per year to 160 million yuan in fixed assets, with a total area of more than 5,500 acres and employees. A large fireworks group company with more than 3,000 people and billions of output values. From an unknown small workshop to an Olympic fireworks supplier, Qingtai Fireworks has won numerous international patents and won numerous international awards. The "Flower in Artillery" single product has been sought after by thousands of people, and the fireworks show at Orange Island is amazing.
In China's fireworks industry, Qingtai Fireworks is the brightest firework.
在中国的烟花行业里,庆泰烟花就是那一朵最闪的烟花。
Today, Huang Weide talks about his mother ’s suffering, and his eyes are still wet. He often said to people, "I have been in the fireworks industry for almost 50 years. I want to make fireworks in my lifetime, just to make my mother feel for my son. Pride, just because fireworks can make the mothers of the world laugh happily. "
First stop, that was the time na na reunite ulit kaming STA. Sa sampung buwan ko silang nakasama sa silid aralan, yung iba sa kanila, kasama ko pa rin hanggang ngayon. You know, my grade 10 is one of my golden times in my life. Alam kong kaya niyo yan, junjun tayo e!

This batch of ppl naman e napakaespesyal sakin tho hindi nila ako masyado napapansin or kilala, they, the Grand Choir, taught me how to strive on my skills and also, my passion; singing. Every time na kasama ko sila, lumalabas ang pagiging critic ko and andun din yung side ng pagiging learner ko kasi mas kelangan kong matuto kung mali sila at mas lalo kung ako ang nagkakamali. Nonetheless, we offer these sacrifices, failures and learning to God. Thank u Lord for letting me have them!
PS. Loyal pa rin ako sa Koro.
(These pics r not from the lent season, it was from the CH season hahahaha wala kasi kaming pic non kaya ayan na lang haha)

Happy 3rd year anniversary of the Word of Honor table read! It's still May 28 here in the US, so I'm not too late to post!
This wonderful fig set was inspired, of course, by the May 28, 2020 table read of the Episode 3 face-touching scene:
Here's a screenshot I managed to grab (after, uh, multiple tries):
On to the figs! This is a multi-part set. We get the two figs, two chairs, two script books, and a blue table. All I need to buy is some water bottles!
The chairs are very lightweight, and I was worried at first they wouldn't be able to hold up the weight of the figs properly. But they work great. Quality fig engineering here! They feel very stable on all four feet of each chair, which, I don't know about you, is more than I can say for many chairs I've sat in.
And a shot of the same items all upside down. The table too is very level and smooth, with no warping or misalignment. Really well done!
I'm going to do two separate 360-degree pic runs - first, just the figures in their chairs, so you can see all the individual details. Then, I'll do the whole set. Bear with me, I tried to keep the positions the same as I slowly rotated two figs with two chairs. I should really buy a turntable!
They're so cute! I love the details of Junjun's hair poking out of the back of his baseball cap, and the moon and stars in each other's eyes. Just delightful.
Ok, you ready for the whole set now? Let's do it!
And a top view!
Here we have the box cards, and then the art echoed again on the boxes themselves:
Absolutely delightful!
Material: PVC for the figures, acrylic for the table
Fig Count: 367
Scene Count: 25
Rating: Beginnings are so beautiful, don't you think?
A-Han is here to hand out good luck and fortune! To welcome the Year of the Rabbit, Four Seasons Figthusiast is holding a giveaway of all kinds of Word of Honor, Wenzhou, and Junzhe merch. Read on, noble figthusiasts!
I'm putting the fine print up first:
You don't need to be interested in the actors beyond Word of Honor, but no either Gong Jun or Zhang Zhehan antis and no ZSJ followers.
If you want to be part of this giveaway, go ahead and give this post a ❤️, and you'll be included. No need to follow me, but all previous followers (I've screenshot-ed my list just now) will get double entries as a thank you.
As a special thank you, my top 3 active followers per my dashboard are already winners, if you choose to participate, I'll message you for your choice of prizes.
Giveaway starts right now and ends Friday morning 1/20/2023 at 9am Pacific Standard Time.
On 1/20 I'll select 5 winners, and they can pick from the prizes in the order that they win. There are multiples of some prizes, and any prizes not given away will be given away in the future!
US based only except for the Fig Pre-Order prize, which is international only. If you are international and win you will default to this prize.
Items marked as brand new are indeed brand new, others were purchased from a previous owner from Xianyu, and all in good shape.
P R I Z E S. . .
PRIZE 1: RealGe Be Bright All-In Set (brand new). I uploaded my warehouse photo from SB since they already have a flat lay, but this is in fact stateside. Includes the photobook, mini photobook, shikishi art board; flash drive with 6+ hours of behind the scenes footage, keychain, plastic tumbler, photocards, and a little mini projector thing:
Prize 2: Spring Autumn Dreams Word of Honor / Junzhe Photo Book (from XY), together with the Official SHL Concert Gift Box contents (brand new from XY): includes tote bag, folding fan, and 2021 calendar given away to SHL concert attendees. Yes, the calendar is hopelessly out of date, but the photos are meant to be turned into postcards. No box, unfortunately, it didn't survive the overseas trip:
Prize 3: Wenzhou Hairpin figs, as seen in this post (brand new), can be sent with or without the spicy artwork box:
Prize 4: Plush kitten and puppy Junzhe 7cm Dolls / keychains (brand new and un-Rua-ed [don't have their faces mushed to the shape of your choice yet]):
Prize 5: Tanghulu Niuniu fig, as seen in this post (brand new):
Prize 6: Be Strong fig, as seen in this post (brand new),
NOTE If you pick either Zhehan fig and (naturally) want a Junjun to go with him, I have some options I'll message the winners about.
Prize 7: Doreamon figs as seen in this post, picture included but no frame (from XY):
Prize 8: Weiyang Photobook set All-In (except missing the figs, ironic I know, the seller didn't send them). Does include the snowglobe. Brand new(ish) but missing some cellophane packaging. Includes photobook, big wall hanging, flash drive with footage, mini PBs, standees, luggage tag, slogans, postcards, cards:
Prize 9: Wenzhou cut-paper plug-in lamp (brand new but plugged in to confirm it works, actual pic below), plus tote bag and Wenzhou silk scarf (both brand new, just unfolded to show the designs) plus a bunch of other assorted Wenzhou photos and postcards / stickers / paper goods (not shown):
Prize 10: Hydrangea Photobook set All-In, includes pajamas size medium (can send without the PJs as well), standees, clips, keychains, cards, stickers, portable chopsticks/spoon set with case, 2022 calendar (also hopelessly outdated, but you'll have the pics!), ceramic cup, and photobook, all brand new except for the photobook:
And last, but definitely not least:
Pre-order Fig (International Only): I felt bad that all my merch is stateside, and international shipping is prohibitively expensive for big items. So, you get your choice of any fig or fig set that are currently available for pre-order (there's some really good ones!). I'll send the winner a list of these figs.
Please note any pre-order can be expected to take months to be produced. I will direct ship these to your address from the SB warehouse when they are ready.
Alternatively, if there's an existing fig you really want off Xianyu we can talk.

Thanks for reading! Feel free to leave any notes about any prizes you're excited about!
I'm looking forward to folks getting some fun merch - good luck!
I dearly love each and every Bazaar photo shoot fig set I have - there is no limit to the number I would buy! So imagine my delight when a clever fig maker decided to immortalize this (technically) off-camera moment!
The inspiration comes from a video taken by a very enterprising daipai. A daipai, if you're not familiar with the term - and I wasn't either, until this fandom - is basically paparazzi for hire. They will follow celebrities to get pictures of them to sell, and also will sell their picture-taking services to fan sites.
Here, they were sneaking shots of Zhang Zhehan and Gong Jun. Gong Jun is famously eagle eyed for catching daipai and fan photographers, wherever they are hidden, but this time Zhehan spots the photographer first, since he is facing towards them. Gong Jun is posing for the camera in the exact opposite direction.
This fades out at the end, but I've seen a longer version of this at one point too. Junjun wasn't very happy with this daipai - he looked away very pointedly. It's not easy being a celebrity, no matter what anyone says!
I wasn't sure if the balcony railing would be sent in a different box or how they would do that, but it was sized to fit in one of the boxes.
Here they are! Zhehan's fan isn't removable - it came that way. Neither is Junjun's, for that matter.
Paparazzi certainly aren't loved for the way they invade people's privacy, so the truly epic frown on Junjun's face is fantastic. You know I like smiling figs, but this is just so perfect here. I love it!
I love, love, love the blue streak in Zhehan's hair. His whole Bazaar hair style, for that matter. And Zhehan did too, given that he set a picture from the shoot as his Instagram pic. I also love the moon symbol on Junjun's shirt, which echos the complementary star on Zhehan's. You can't see the star yet, but you will as we rotate around!
Neither of them would stand on their own at all. I got a bunch of figs in this ocean shipment, and I swear a good half of them don't stand! The fig standees are pretty essential, really.
Ahaha, it's been a while, but you can see we are back to the typical Zhehan and Gong Jun fig proportions. Zhehan curvy, Junjun slim.
Love Zhehan's gold studded belt here!
Zhehan's hair is really my favorite in this style.
Look at it, the ponytail is so cute!
There's Zhehan's star on his chest! It's a little hard to see, but it's there.
The choice to put Junjun in fingerless gloves was masterful. I know they're a bit hard to see in the video, but there's these big chunky buckles at the wrist which are very cool. Junjun's hands are very elegant in the black leather - very long and beautiful, and the heavy buckles both highlight and complement how they look.
And we're back around, this time with the railing! Junjun sure looks a little like he's contemplating smacking someone in the head with the fan, doesn't he?
As you can see here, the fig stands fit perfectly underneath it with no problem at all. Looks a little silly, but there's nothing to be done at all about it, since they won't stand up otherwise.
Well. I mean, I know exactly what I'm going to do about it, which is to order a long and thin single standee, and stick them both to it, and have it slightly more hidden behind the rail.
Junjun makes me laugh - his pose with the fan really does look like he's thinking some thoughts!
Every angle of that ponytail is adorable!
As you saw from the earlier unboxing photo, the set came with a bonus add-on of a magnet. My file cabinet is half full on one side now from all my magnets!
The delightful matching artwork on the boxes. I get plain white boxes so much with the resin figs that it's always nice to get the PVC ones for the fancier boxes!
Material: PVC
Fig Count: 431
Scene Count: 29 (I don't think a balcony rail counts)
There's a lot of reasons I like this set, not the least because we have Zhang Zhehan and Gong Jun in their bright blue and red Wenzhou colors.
I also like figs that have a leg kicked up, like Zhehan does here in his inspiration photo:
I love active poses from Zhehan, he's always so athletic and graceful looking in motion.
Here's the inspiration for Gong Jun's outfit and pose:
What an absolutely beautiful smile from Junjun. I wouldn't think a Safeguard soap ad would feature one of my favorite smiles of his, but here we are.
I really, really love the bandana on his wrist - not only does it highlight the strength of his arm and the beauty of his hand and fingers, but it also has the pop of bright blue. Which I know is for Safeguard's logo, not the Wenzhou blue, but the associations are still really nice for me!
Before we get started, with fig pics, I just wanted to say I'm DISAPPOINTED in these figs. Well, not the figs, they're innocent. The FIG MAKER. She posted a pic of the figs looking like this:
Notice the smooch on Zhehan's sliver of chest and of course right there under Gong Jun's beauty mark. I was so charmed! Then I got these figs, and saw the kiss on Gong Jun's face, but where is the kiss on Zhehan?!? NOT there in the final product!
I don't know about you, but I'm a fan of equal smooch time, and I have a feeling some of you may be too. More to come on that.
These two arrived safely! They were part of the experimental batch I didn't air column wrap, so thankfully they were not victims of my own hubris.
Zhehan looks a little woeful here, no doubt because he's lacking a good solid smooch. It's OK honey, we'll see what we can do about that.
I'm just tickled that these figs can actually stand. They're pretty heavy, so I was a bit worried to experiment with them, but they stand beautifully. AND, not only can they stand, but Zhehan can stand on either foot!
Actually, the fact that he can stand on either foot proved difficult (for me) as I very carefully noted that he was standing on his right leg in the magazine picture, and mentally chanted, right leg right leg right leg as I was taking pictures. And then promptly managed to take a pic of him on his left leg.
Ahh it's been a while, but we're back to the typical JZP fig maker fig silhouettes. We've got Junjun's very slim runway model proportions, and Zhehan's lusher frame.
Both of their sets of legs are cute! I like we've got a little bit of movement for Junjun too.
This is such a cute angle on Junjun! Adorable.
Even a cuter angle! Good shot of the silhouettes too.
I wish we had gotten the scarf around Junjun's wrist, but that would likely have been quite difficult.
Well, since I took the photo anyway, here's how he stands on the other leg!
Nice and clean paint. The clothes are simple but executed quite well.
The pants aren't as shiny as they look, I just have late afternoon sun pouring in through my window and lighting up the figs!
Oops. I got here and realized I had not taken a top down picture! I had already finished up and put the figs on stands and away on my fig display. Alright, they came back for a photo encore.
I had been so focused on poor smooch-less Zhehan, and making sure he got all the kisses he so rightfully deserves!
I had this water sticker pack that was part of the Zhongpei fig set, and as you can see it had quite a few little lip stickers.
As you can see, the little lip print is quite a bit bigger than the one on Junjun, and a little bit darker. I don't mind the darker color, since Junjun's eating a pomegranate, after all, but the fact that it's bigger is problematic. There's very little real estate there on Zhehan's chest.
You can see there's definitely no room on his chest for the entire print without it looking strange, so I trimmed it to have just enough peeking out.
Well, I'll cut to the chase...somehow I bungled the first couple tries. The first time I have no idea what happened, the kiss like smeared into a little red ball before I even was able to try to apply it. The second time I don't know what happened either, but the sticker would not stick for anything, no matter how much water or what I tried to do, either side. The third time I realized that the sticker is the opposite side, so I could only stick it on his right side.
The third time was the charm! There's a little bit of a line where I wasn't able to get it snug enough against the lapel, but honestly it was a miracle I even got it on. I'll get a little bit of acrylic paint and paint in the little bit of the line so it looks like it's under the lapel. I still have one kiss sticker left, but I didn't dare take this off and try to reapply - it was very difficult to get on as it is! It also bunched up, but I ran my finger over it and it stretched out somehow. I'm not rolling the dice that I'll be able to do any better!
This also came with a magnet as a free gift. And look! They put the kiss on the same side I did! Looks like that worked out.
Following up yesterday's Shizuka is today's LV model Gong Jun!
I actually adore Louis Vuitton. Many, many, (many) years ago, when I got my first bonus check at work, I was so proud of myself that I bought myself a LV handbag. A ridiculous use of money, especially at that time, but I wanted to reward myself for working so hard with a fancy purse. I still have the handbag, and every time I look at it I remember how it felt to hold that check in my hands, and feel that sense of accomplishment and joy. I still love it as much as I did then, after all these years. So I can't tell you how delighted I was when Gong Jun became the ambassador for LV!
I'm not saying I necessarily like all their fashion looks, because I don't, but I don't think the point of high fashion is to necessarily like the looks. I think it's more about appreciating the artistry. Some outfits, I must admit, I am just too artistically impaired to appreciate. But put Junjun in LV, and suddenly my artistic appreciation goes way, way up.
The inspiration for this fig is Junjun's pics from one of his photo shoots for LV on his Weibo account on August 17 last year:
This is the exact inspiration pic for the fig! See how his leg is kicked up like that and his arm is alongside his crossbody bag?
I love those flowy white pants on him! Also a big fan of that crossbody bag, it seems a lot bigger and more functional than the one he was wearing at the concert. Which I love for obvious sentimental reasons, but it's the smallest and most impractical thing in the world. I can fit my phone and the world's tiniest wallet in it, and that's literally it. Well, and a lip balm, Junjun was right about that when he showed it off at the concert.
There is a LOT going on with this jacket. For fig comparison purposes, I tried to find this jacket on the US LV site, but was unable to. So I went to their China site, and found it! It is the Multi Patches Mixed Leather Varsity Blouson Jacket, for a cool 46,500 RMB (roughly $6,700 USD).
The patch saying LV 1854, the year the house was founded in France, is of course the name of this fig. Huh, wizards. Go figure!
And another 1854 patch on this sleeve! Two patches, I guess, if we count the #54. So much detail on this. Alright, on to the fig!
Ahhh he's so cute even all packaged up for traveling! His perfect little face, and the beauty mark on his ear right there.
Unfortunately, his cute little kicked-up foot pose means that he can't stand up at all, even for a single glamor shot. So on he went onto a standee. I don't typically like to do this, but I glued him down immediately. He's really heavy - that head of his is solid! My experience with heavy headed figs with any tilt to the side has been that the weight of the fig will topple them over. I have learned this the hard way as figs have gone careening down my display shelves! I was not going to risk his precious little self, so out came the glue, and he's not budging now.
Since this is a light colored outfit, I figured I'd put him on a non-white background for better contrast. Wow, his hair looks incredible from this angle! I love this hairstyle on him, and fig-wise it's perfect.
The detail here on his coat is fantastic. You can also see how his foot is totally lifted up there off the base - it's not resting on the fig stand at all.
Ah this is a good angle to see his foot kicked up too. He looks long and lean from this angle - definitely Junjun's proportions.
Again, really fantastic level of detail on the jacket here. It's hard to see all the patches clearly Junjun's photos, but if you scroll back and forth on the actual jacket photos you'll see this is an excellent rendering at this small of a scale.
You get a little bit of the flowy look of the pants here, while still preserving all the detail on his white and blue shoes. This fig maker does a phenomenal job!
Speaking of the shoes, this is a great angle for the detail on them.
Ahahaha, I see the wizards! And of course, instead of the name of the maison, we have Gong Jun's English name.
Here you definitely get the flowy lines of his pants, and please note the little fold line in his ear, so cute (wow, never in my life did I think I'd be commenting on a fig's ear fold, life really is stranger than fiction). His eyes are expressive and beautiful, and his hair is absolutely perfect! This is another great angle of those fancy shoes, too.
Here's a zoomed in pic of the front so you can see the really incredible level of detail.
I made sure to get a bottoms-up photo before I glued him on the standee!
The top down pic is not too exciting, I admit.
A+ box cards from this fig maker. Just like with yesterday's Shizuka card, she uses the actual background from the photo.
I can't believe I forgot to mention how much I love his rascally little quirked up smile there. My favorite! Junjun you cutie!
Thank you fig maker for literally listing out every piece of the inspiration for this fig on the box card! Even down to the time stamp. Amazing.
There wasn't any box art - these all came in plain white boxes, but no matter when the card art is this lovely.
Come back tomorrow to see the last fig in this series of releases!
Material: Resin
Fig Count: 346
Scene Count: 24
Rating: A varsity jacket has never looked so good!
This pose is a popular one for figs - so far we've seen a number of these Word of Honor Concert banquet figs before.
The inspiration for this set of figs is from their speech together at the banquet. Here's one of the pics I like from the event, showing off Gong Jun's cute one-leg pose:
Here's a great shot of Zhehan's lobster hoodie, and also of his beautiful smile:
Right after this picture was taken was when Zhehan puts both hands in his pockets, just like the figs show. I have a snippet of video that shows what I think is this exact scene:
They were so happy that evening - no wonder people love to make figs of their speech! We were all so happy that evening too.
I wasn't able to get these when they were initially released, so I had to pick them up on the secondary market. I got a great price on Xianyu though, so no complaints. The seller even threw in a couple cute Junzhe face masks.
As you can tell by the packaging, the seller thankfully had kept all the packing materials, so these two arrived safe and sound with no damage.
Their expressions are so funny. Zhehan has a total gremlin look on his face, and Gong Jun looks a little worried!
The little orange here replaces Junjun's little doll of Wen Kexing hanging from his bag.
Unlike others I have of the figs in this pose, Junjun does actually stand up here. I was honestly surprised! He doesn't look like he should stand on his own, just given the size of that big ol' fig head and those teeny tiny feet. But he's pretty solidly standing.
Zhehan stands up just fine too, which looks surprising from this angle. They're just balanced really well.
I really like the detail here of the strap on the back of Zhehan's hat sticking out. As you could tell by the first live picture of them that I posted, his strap is indeed dangling down.
Like many figs in this style, they're fairly simple, but the simplicity is part of the charm.
The pose of him putting his hands in his pockets is really cute.
Junjun's eyes are so big and earnest! Big puppy dog eyes, aren't they.
That lobster is bright red and stands out for sure.
Such little feet!
The fig maker really made Junjun pretty flat in back!
I hadn't thought that they wore baseball caps to the after party because they probably had wig hair, but I guess that might be the case!
You can see how well they stand again here.
I'm sure they had box cards at one point, but at least I got the boxes!
This delightful set was inspired by this behind the scenes footage from the Bazaar shoot, where Zhehan is playing around and puts a teapot lid on Junjun's head:
Ahh, this is so good. Here's a few pics from this as well just because we all deserve it:
I love these outfits so much that I bought the jacket. It's actually the same jacket they are both wearing, the sleeves have zippers that you can detach them completely like Junjun is wearing, or fully zip them closed, or have it anywhere in between like Zhehan is showing it here. Naturally it looks nowhere near as good on me!
Alright, so first up we have the diorama. These just arrived in my sea shipment, so I was very excited to pull them out and set them up. This is a foamcore printed set. It's actually double sided with a totally different scene on the other side, but I'll leave that side for a different fig set (the suspense, I know!).
In retrospect I really wish I had bought two sets, so I could have both sides set up separately next to each other. The foamcore is pretty tough but not that tough, but I don't want to be pulling the set in and out of the tabs and cause excessive wear and bending. I ordered these on pre-order, and unfortunately the seller didn't have any extras, so I'll have to poke around on Xianyu.
Zhehan with the blue streak in his hair was clearly one of his own favorite looks, by the way he set his profile pic to it back in the day, and it's definitely one of mine.
I adore these winky expressions! They're cute from all angles.
As you can see in this post, Zhehan's ponytail over-weights him in back, and he topples right over, so on bases they go.
Wow, I really like this diorama, the colors just pop.
A shot from above so you can see the teapot lid on Junjun's head and the detail on Zhehan's hairstyle. I'm enjoying the color coordination of the blue eye with the blue hair, it's very fun.
And a closeup so you can see their adorable faces and playful expressions! You can also see the detail on their outfits. The moon and star here that they're wearing for each other is a nice touch. I also like Zhehan's stripy socks! The paint bled a tiny bit but you can't really tell where you're just looking at them in your hand.
The Chinese 小谋深算 xiǎo móu shēn suàn on the box card Google Translates to "little tricks" or "scheming", which I've taken the extreme liberty of translating as "mischievous", assuming it has to do with them being playful and Zhehan putting the lid on Junjun's head. It works for me!
Here we have Zhehan rehearsing for the Word of Honor concert!
The inspiration for this fig is Zhehan's casually relaxed Lanvin rehearsal outfit look:
While I tend to like the fancier outfits than the more casual ones, anything associated with the concert is very special to me. I'm happy to have this fig!
Zhehan is of course wearing his glasses in the rehearsal, so this fig came with some frames. And I do mean frames. Unlike the very well crafted and beautiful glasses from Junjun's Cool Boy Mujosh fig, this is bendy PVC. There isn't any plastic in them to simulate glass, and when I got them they were twisted up.
I don't know if you can really see here, but after a lot of warming under hot water and re-bending them back into shape, they were still pretty badly bent. I could not get them to stay on this fig for anything. I'd get one end hooked over one ear and the other would fall right off. I think stiffer frames work better - metal or the hard plastic of Junjun's fig. Incidentally, this is one of the best angles to see the Lanvin logo on his hoodie - it's in shadow in a lot of my pics, but it's pretty visible here.
I ended up laying him down and just draping the glasses over them so you could at least see how it looked:
Not my favorite, to be honest! I don't know if they're just not the right shape, or they're too big - or if it's just me and they look fine to everyone else!
I really like my figs that are based on something to look like that something, including all the details, but as you can see I abandoned the look and just went for the bare-faced look. Sorry Zhehan! Sorry me!
Here's our beautiful Zhehan, starry eyed and getting ready to sing to over 7,000 people live, and far more than that online! Including this one little intrepid American falling headlong into fandom for the first time.
His question mark baseball cap actually goes up pretty high! Some of this is the angle, and some of this is just that figs have pretty big heads.
You can definitely see it here. It's a big hat for a small fig!
And yet, this fig balances just fine. No problem at all.
We have Zhehan's normal curvy proportions, covered up a bit by the slouchy yet fashionable blue Lanvin hoodie. I always find it funny that the hood on these are so small when the heads are so big. Obviously they can't make them actual head size, or it would take up the whole back of the fig!
His little tennis shoes look so small here! They don't look anywhere near enough like they'd be able to balance him, but they do a good job. It must be all that core strength Zhehan's developed over time.
Like all the figs in this series, the maker does a really nice job on the details. This outfit is simple, but she dresses it up with his jewelry, and the little touches on his hoodie and on his shoes. Very nicely done.
And we're back around! I love the pose she picked out for him - very reminiscent of the rehearsal indeed.
This is actually a nice angle to see the hand tucked into his pocket.
This angle made me laugh - it's just one giant question mark!
This is the obligatory moment in this entire 4-fig series where I regret that I did not peel off the protective film from the optional-purchase keychain. It's so dull and drab instead of being bright and vibrant! Sorry all. You can see how cute it is though.
The back of the box card with the name of the fig...
...and as you can tell, we've come to the last of the figs in this series! But there are plenty of more figs to go (and more on order!)
Material: PVC
Fig Count: 300! Wow!
Scene Count: 23
Rating: Happy to hit 300 with this sweet singing fig!
Following up yesterday's First Party is today's pair of little toddlers! I'm totally in love with every kid incarnation of these two, PLUS I have to admit I adore Junjun's little stuffed giraffe. That is also charming in every incarnation!
We've definitely seen Junjun's kid outfit before, it's his classic one that's so cute!
However, I don't think we've seen this adorable set of pajamas in fig form yet! Too sweet, Mama Zhang. You did great dressing this little cutie!
Ahhh I love it.
Junjun came all snugged up in his little polystyrene box, together with his rattle drum and a bonus little tangerine! Thank you, JZP fig maker ❤️
When they're this cute even in a box with a layer of plastic, you know they're gonna be adorable.
Here's Junjun out of the box, looking blurry since the camera decided to (totally on it's own, nothing to do with me!) focus on the rattle drum instead of his hand. But we're going to get lots of closeups in three...two...
...one! SUPER cute! Did you just 'awwww'? I sure did.
Yep, they did go right on standees. Like many toddlers, these had the alarming tendency to topple over.
Junjun's little drum fits perfectly and easily into his little hand, no wiggling or wobbling required!
The little flower print on Zhehan's pajamas is really sweet.
Ahhhh we get to see the little giraffe face! If some doll maker ever makes a baby Jun-er outfit with a plush giraffe toy I will hit the buy button IMMEDIATELY.
More of the little giraffe. I love it! I wonder what Junjun named it.
I see the fig maker kept their relative proportions even in kid form. JZP fig makers are the best, they endlessly amuse me! It makes sense they are the same height here since Zhehan is a bit older.
CUTE. Cute cute cute! I can't even take it!
And we're back around to the front! I swapped their places so I could justify another front pic of the two. Zhehan's little pajama set is ADORABLE. Look at that puppy face!
They each have each other's birthday's on their feet. Just too good.
Zhehan's little clapping hands are, uh (desperately tries to find a word that isn't 'cute' and that I haven't used before) really great! They match the picture.
This fig photographer is everything I dream of being.
Material: Resin
Fig Count: 320
Scene Count: 23
Rating: CUUUUUUUUTE (I just have to get it all out!)
This fig's name is 极挑俊, Jí Tiāo Jùn, which machine translates directly to extremely handsome. Which, fair!
But I think (and don't take the thoughts of a non-Chinese speaking American, this is just me hypothesizing) it's a play on the name of Go Fighting, 极限挑战, Jíxiàn Tiǎozhàn. 极挑 by itself translates to extremely challenging, with of course the Jùn for Gong Jun's first name as handsome. So maybe Extreme Challenge Jun might work too!
This extremely handsome, sparkly-eyed cutie is perfect and precious and very well protected from the sun.
That last pic by RealGe is one of my all-time favorite pictures of Junjun - just so happy and summery and utterly perfect.
The real challenge here is stopping myself from continuing to add pictures of Junjun in this outfit…
Ok just one more, I realized you don't have a full-body shot of the outfit. This is necessary for fig comparison purposes!
Thank you again, RealGe, always coming through for us. Alright, fig time.
LOOK at him! Gong Jun is so naturally sparkly eyed that it only made sense for this fig to be sparkly eyed too. His happy laughing mouth is adorable.
I actually like it when the fig makers make their pants...short pants. Especially here, it gives the fig a beachy, summery vibe.
Once again a grown woman is reduced to whispering, cute, cuuuuuute again under her breath as she reverently cradles a PVC fig in her hands.
Not much from this angle other than the cute little bits we can see of the shoes, the bag, and his chin strap.
He stands up just fine, despite the big ol' sunhat! He looks like he's leaning over to the right a bit here, but that's just the poor angle of my photography.
His little hand posture here is one of my favorites! I love it when fig Zhehan does it, and it's just as cute on Junjun.
Hmm, I just noticed the fig maker didn't make the arm sunsleeves go over his hands with the thumb loops! I'm not one to quibble (I mean, every once in a while), but I found the whole looped sleeves look exceptionally adorable on him.
Gosh his hands are cute! As are his little shoes and his blushy face and his sun hat loops AND his floppy hair!
The hand pose is super cute here. This is also a really fine view of the sunhat loop tie going around his ears and securely holding on his hat!
Speaking of the hat, here it is in all it's white and grey camo glory. I think I mentioned that Go Fighting Season 8 was directly responsible for me buying a sun hat and arm sleeves. Safety first, as we see below!
One of the options you could buy when you bought this fig was this cute little matching keychain. Here it is with the box card:
It's a bit pale and subdued because I haven't peeled the protective coating off, but little samoyed Jun looks a bit sleepy from all the sun!
The back of the card has the name of the fig, Ji Tiao Jun.
Here's a nice preview of all the figs to come in this series!
Here we have a pair of Junzhe figs that are all about celebrating love.
This fig set reminds me of this interview question and Zhang Zhehan and Gong Jun's responses:
One of the great things about being a Junzhe fan, is that all of our merch celebrates love in one form or another. It's really delightful.
Speaking of delightful, these two figs seem to be a combination of all sorts of great fandom nods.
First, the two of them are sporting pink hair, so this is clearly meant to be post Happy Camp pink powder! Gong Jun is here wearing a "Happy and Love" sweatshirt.
Gong Jun wore this cheerful Happy and Love sweatshirt during the filming of Legend of Anle. The fig maker kept the sentiment but also made it JZP themed with the orange symbol.
Zhehan is wearing a Surround-theme shirt, inspired by his Surround single released on May 7, 2021:
I can't help but mention here that Gong Jun actually wore a surround-themed shirt on the 5-month anniversary of the release of Surround, also during the filming of Legend of Anle:
Thank you RealGe forthe pics!
I feel like I've seen Zhehan wearing an outfit like this somewhere before. The fig maker clearly took the base clothing inspiration from something specific, but I couldn't find anything in my (badly organized) picture folder. If I find it, I'll come back and update this post!
Found! Through the sharp eyes of a very clever fandom friend, HERE is the inspiration for Zhehan's outfit:
Even the pose and everything. Wow! The fig maker did indeed switch up the Lanvin name, but everything else is right on. Fantastic!
I've had this set for a very long time, and just hadn't gotten around to posting about them, mostly because I was trying to dig up that picture of Zhehan. I figured they're well overdue a nice long post, so they're getting one!
These two cuties are too wobbly to get to pose for more than a few seconds at a time, so I popped them onto fig stands with some fig stickers.
They look like they're high-fiving here!
Gong Jun is quite a bit taller here in this set than Zhehan, and the volume the fig maker gave his hair lends it even a little more height in the back.
Case in point, with the larger hair diameter making his head look quite a bit bigger. I'm a big fan of Junjun's hair swooped off his face and touseled a bit, so I approve.
Their little pose with their feet turned in is very cute.
I missed out on buying this fig set at the time, so I had to hunt it down on Xianyu. Well worth it.
The detail on the shoes is just charming.
The expressions are so bright and cheerful!
Yes I love the little JZ on their feet. Did you notice the little notch detail on Zhehan's pants? You probably saw it before, but I'm not sure I registered it until just now.
I was hoping with the cute foot positions they'd be super stable figs just standing around, but no, they turned out to be a bit wobbly.
Oops, the top-down view here is more like an angled-top view, but it's still good enough to see the hair and the cute little details on the outfits.
Speaking of cute, these box cards are adorable!
What a sweet set! I really like this one, I'm glad I was able to track it down.
I was so excited when this fig was announced for production! I absolutely fell in love with Gong Jun's Shanghai Spring Festival Gala performance on January 23, 2023. He sang two songs, and this was the first one, 刀剑如梦, A Life of Fighting is but a Dream, by Wakin Chao.
The full performance of this song is here:
I LOVE IT. He sounds so good! He's come so far, I'm just so proud of him. Here's the beautiful photo gracing the song in my phone:
And a few more pics, from far to near:
There's an English translation of the lyrics on Youtube that I'll link to here in case you, like me, become obsessed with this song!
youtube
Alright, you convinced me - one more picture of Gong Jun singing his heart out!
The costume is quite beautiful too. I really wanted figs of all his costumes from the performance (and one day I will commission them), but for now, I'm delighted to have this fig.
Our little Jianghu warrior arrived safe and sound in his plastic polystyrene protective box!
The actual name of this fig translates to Warrior of the Jianghu, but I associate this fig so closely with the song that had to take creative liberties here.
His head looks a bit odd as we rotate around this figure, but I can assure you it's normal looking in real life. It's true it's a little less round than the usual fig dimensions, due to the height they're going for in his hair, but it's not as exaggerated as this in real life. And yes, this is my favorite hairstyle of Junjun's - his hair off his immaculate face, lots of volume, and a bit touseled). It looks a bit distorted in this pic, which it is not. Unfortunately, you are dealing with a rudimentary phone photographer!
His outfit does indeed shine with this lovely pearlescent sheen to it.
*scrolls back up and watches the video for the [undisclosed number] of times* I like how the fig maker posed him, with one hand behind his back in his comfortably familiar Wen Kexing pose.
You can see the detail here with the long cuffs and the gathers that go into it, as well as the split in the sleeve. This is also a nice shot of the subtle leaf pattern.
This fig would not stand up for anything - I had to prop him up to take the header shot, and then he immediately got glued down on a fig stand. I'm not taking any chances of this fig tipping over and shattering!
Hmm, his head has looked more regular from this side. That's because they put the bigger swoosh in his hair on the other side.
This is a good angle to see his other hand in the classic sword mudra. Very apropos!
I like the detail here with his collar and the belt. His little boots are very cute!
I forgot to take a pic of the bottoms-up angle before I glued him down! You can tell I was VERY determined not to have this fig suffer any casualties in the fig-unboxing chaos.
A top view of Junjun's crowning glory. He really does have beautiful hair - thick and a gorgeous rich black.
I wanted you to have a closeup of the outfit details here - sorry my phone could only zoom in on the clothing details, leaving out the matching leaf detail in his eyes! The fig maker did a nice job on the tiny little details here.
I don't have a box card or a printed box, unfortunately. You know I would have loved to have the art for this one!
One little last treat for you - here's the extracted audio from the performance just in case you also want to enjoy it.
