the New Hillcrest Championship disproves that Aideen exists, because how could a loving god let this happen? I saw a horse and rider disappear into the bog never to return. A literal plague of insects. The vehicular horse and manslaughter. Every time I sign up for the race I think "maybe it will be different this time." "Maybe I won't be utter trash this time." and then, inevitably, "I'm in Hell". And the swamp laughs.

At work an older lady handed me her credit card and it had a vintage photo of a muscly chestnut horse in a pasture on it. Didn't get a great look at it but I asked her, "Oh, is that Man o' War??" And she looks at me with such fucking SCORN in her eyes and informs me "That is a QUARTER HORSE". It's so fucking over. I have to resign my official horse girl status. I'm being escorted from my job by the horse girl police. I've been shamed. Besmirched. I'm sorry I didn't get a good look at the picture, how could I miss that giant quarter horse ass!! I'm sorry!! Idea for Halloween horses: Werewolf mustang, extra shaggy with wolf ears, fangies and fluffy wolf tail and wolf-like coat markings. Vampire Belgian warmblood (or arabian or something else? Something elegant and sleek), huge fangies, pale coat, red eyes.

:))) I finally rode a horse again today. It was literally just a short trail/pony ride but I haven't ridden in like a decade but I miss it so much. I would love to take lessons, but I lack reliable transportation out to any of my local barns... but!! Today I got to ride a Tennessee Walker (my first experience on a gaited breed!) and my gf rode a Halflinger. AND we got to pet a couple different draft breeds and the sweetest barn cat ever and I bought a Breyer model for myself. Very very very happy and fun day <3

the dutch warmbloods are so perfect to go out and ride around in the snow with. they lift their leggies so high already that they really look like they're trudging through the deep snowdrifts. cute <3

the image on the left was from today's news blog advertising the new dutch warmblood and dressage sets. but... where's the cute little dressage judge's booth that's in the image? it's not actually in the game... i mean, i guess they've done this before, sprucing up images to make them look a bit more fun, but... it LOOKS like a convincingly 3d model. why not just. add it?

Hey star stable, I'm playing on my gf's account right now (who is not at all progressed in the story, she just met Alex and Linda) and... why are Lisa and Anne (who should be trapped in a different dimension) and Concorde (who is at various stages of death, rebirth, and growth) all at the birthday event? Wouldn't this be like.... a massive spoiler and really confusing for new players??

Aaaaaaa Hollow Woods is so beautiful! And I love how spacious it feels while still having a lot of good trails to gallop down. And Valedale!!!! It feels much more hidden and magical, really nestled in the forest, and the new gardens are SO pretty!!! I'm not done exploring everything yet but the artists and designers did such a great job.
