ai chat bots are so fascinating to me, not because "ooo robot talking woawww" or anything similar but the fact that its like. a written, coded list of an attempt at tones and implications with in writing and an attempt of understanding words. not facinating enough for me to ignore like all the bad peices about them. something about what ive seen from it doesnt give me good vibes in the slightest! a lot of the messages look like theyre written based off of social media posts (specifically twitter and facebook). something about the idea that every part of me, everything ive done everything ive posted everything i that am on the internet is being fed to this tool to remove writers and artists from their jobs in their industries is fucking. disgusting. and scary.

Hello friends ^_^ I actually have something to address today, not anything terrible but just something i did find out.

A couple years ago I was accused of cultural appropriation in the form of a couple of ocs. Someone had claimed I had a "Windigo oc" (Uncensored due to it not being spoken, I do not want to censor any part of native culture in any way.) but the accuser wasn't sure if it was reclaimed. The character was a Dear/Wolf Hybrid, and even at the time was labeled as such. None of my designs have taken native inspiration- unless based off of something my Nana (grandmother) had given me, so I was Quite confused on why this was. It turns out durring 2019 an alter of mine was finishing drawings of mine and posting them in servers, one of which was described as "based off of a windigo". They claimed it was a podcast, but he has never listened to them. The color pallete for the character was actually based off of the Halloween "windego" Doll by Dollightful, which as since been taken down, and an oc by Sleepygrim of the same "species". He thought he would be in trouble if he mentioned it was based off of other ocs (i will be having a discussion about this with him at some point) so he attempted to make himself sound more knowledgeable. My intentions were not to lie about this occuring, and i was worried that my poor memory had forgotten about these events. I was not aware that this has occurred, and i have been talking to Roach- the alter in question- about this subject. I will continue to handle the situation privately with him to prevent this from happening again. Due to this being a bit messy due to my DID and memory issues, I will be unsure how to handle posting from now on. It was a couple years ago, and while I hope that my alters can behave, its not something I can be absolutely certain. I will likely have my posts drafted from now on instead of just posting them immediately after being. Having everything scheduled, so in the case that something is not I can be absolutely be certain that anything posted away from my posting times needs to be addressed. I wish everyone the best as I learn more about my family's history as someone with native family members. Information I find will be sent to the alter in question so he can be more knowledgeable on what is and isn't allowed to be posted in the context of cultures.

i want to talk about the city of Arcturus so so bad but attempting to organize it in a good way has been a struggle!!! Genuinely I have three diagrams to hold information. just for world building. trying to make sure that thangs fit nicely together and also meaningfully pick each other apart is !! hard!!!! conlangs that are built off of conlangs to show how things develop is ALSO hard to talk about . uagh.

gunna be completely honest when i was younger i did not know that 🔞meant 18+ content. maybe its just because i think of things very literally, but for a long period of time i just thought it meant no adults. no 18 year olds. after all, it is a "no" symbol and "18" combined. i really wish that it was more obvious in the emoji. theres a couple around that just combine "18+" with a circle and i really wish that it was used instead of that one.
