What would Homesick react if Y/n is a total psycho, who has no whims killing or letting some people die? Like somehow someway, they got attached to Wally and saw him as a good friend, and because they only care about his well-being and starvation, and didn't care about some other people's lives, they lured people into the woods as Wally's food. Or worse, they kidnap people and give those "food" to Homesick Wally as "gifts"?

Now, it entirely depends on what motives You is doing this for, its one thing to lead food to him so he doesn't starve himself, it's another to do it because you're nonchalant and don't care, or worse, actively enjoy seeing people die/suffer!

Wally loves you so SO much, it's been like that WAYYYY before he got sick-

(Hunter on the other hand...well..it's another can of worms entirely teehee...)

-so you going through all the trouble just to help him kinda flushes him a bit...

But he purposefully starves himself because of the crushing guilt of being stupid enough to have come in contact with what made him sick even with Home's protests, and in turn, makes a lot of people suffer JUST so he can feel better about himself...he constantly berates himself for having to deal with this when the death of many people could have been avoided had he been more careful...

let's play into the different scenarios you brought for me hm?

If You actively lures people into the woods and Wally found out, he'd be HORRIFIED, I think, he'd be scared of you, HELL he's already scared of himself!

Not only are you luring people in, but you're making HIM kill them, wiping the blood clean off of your hands, even worse if he knew you're doing this because you don't care about other people's well being but him, this is like a reverse Yandere type of thing!

that sort of betrayal would crush him so hard, he loves you, but DAMN, what a way to make him go through a spiral!

Now kidnapping is another thing, as mentionned before, he'd rather YOU kill them yourself rather than having him do it, mind you, releasing Hunter to do the job is PAINFUL, it tugs at his stitches and stretches his felt in a matter of minutes!

And if he DOES release him, he could also hurt YOU, you do not want to come across him while he's eating someone, that guy is FERALLLLL

But seeing someone tied up, maybe with a bag over their head-

(and that's being merciful, because they don't have the pain and fear of seeing a monster like him in front of their own eyes)

-begging for mercy, especially if the victim doesn't have a bag and staring back at him crying, squirming and struggling to break free, would be devastating, he already has a hard time looking at them through Hunter's eyes when they get captured, but here that person can't even defend themselves to even TRY to escape!

Why would you make him go through such a painful process?

Now let's say you DO bring a dead person over to him, he'd be terrified still, because that means you also have the capability of hurting innocents without any remorse...-

(also depends how long the person has been dead for, the longer it is, the less energy they have, bringing a carcass thats been sitting there for over months would be absolutely useless, reminder the way food works for hunter is different from how reagular puppets work, and even then, the way food works for puppets is different from how it works from humans! Atleast in my headcanons on puppet anatomy)

-he'd still eat them though, because he would not want the person's death to go in vain, and he'd be on board with suffering less because of the side effects of starvation-

Obviously he would plead with you to not do it again, not to care for that type of stuff for him

(although he'd be secretly very flustered how much you care for him, I'll tell you that)

So about HomeSick ey? Well...

Lets start this slow....with an explanation,

A lively little house who hold no secrets to it's sentience but- how?

Well this AU answers that question for you!

An entity is the reason for him being alive...kind of like getting possessed without it altering your personality ill say! It just drains energy, that being said...

What if....Wally absorbed that energy?

And second question, how is he gonna keep himself from getting completely exhausted? cannibalism.

Yeah you heard me-

Alright, now then, let's write the story better *ahem*

Going back home from a normal day as every other,

Wally comes back to seeing Home interestingly pretty exhausted, confused, Wally asks if he's okay,

to which Home refuses to answer, for some unknown reason, now, determined to get his friend to better health, he looks through every nooks and cranny inside and outside home to find the root of the problem where he find a wall,

scratched and molded with a big black liquid substance dripping from the wall and onto the carpet, intrigued, he gets closer to it, putting his hand on it and examinating what it is despite Home's numerous protests to leave it be.

He should've listened, because as soon as he touched that wall he couldn't let go, the wall gripped and stuck to his hand, not letting him leave, slowly seeping into Wally's felt, skin, eyes, everywhere it could find a way in.

"H-home?? What did you do to me?"

Wally replied, panicked to death as the left side of his face was slowly turning black.

Home wasn't replying anymore, he's dead, he's gone, his sentience replaced by Wally's unintentional absorption of him.

Wally felt himself getting weaker, the entity that was making this house alive needed a lot of energy to keep itself alive, during Home's times, it would just search for resources in the ground, but now?

It couldn't do that anymore, and therefore, it was eating Wally from the inside out, he stumbled and crashed into walls, trying to find something anything to prevent himself from litteraly getting eaten alive...

Hearing the commotion, Julie wandered over to the now normal house Wally lived in.

"Wally? Is everything okay in there? Home seems asleep, and you're doing a lot of noise"

That's the only thing in Wally's mind.

A great source of energy, someone alive, someone with liveliness, it's perfect.

He started to drool as he slowly looked back at the sound of Julie's footsteps calling him out, he was shaking and twitching and then......

It went dark...the next thing he sees is Julie's blood on his hands, her liveless remains in front of him.

"Buddy...?"

A familiar voice spoke back to him, it seems that blonde haired rainbow monster managed to open the door right before she was mauled in an attempt to escape, leaving everyone to see what our beloved little yellow puppet had done to her.

"i-" Wally sobs out, tearing up at the sight of his horrified friend, Barnaby, looking back at him, whike the other neighbors stood beside him in shock.

Without a second thought, he gets up, bursting and sprinting into the woods, ignoring his friends screams.

And....thats where it ends....

Thats where he lives and that's where he hates to survive, the guilt on his shoulders, never wanting to see his friends in their face ever again...but....despite surviving somehow he is still very much.... starving and a starving being will do anything to get their hands on something won't they?

Thats where You come in, having heard of the tales of people disappearing into the woods and never coming back...you decide to investigate for yourself...a terrible idea isn't it...?

Alright!! Onto a better explanation, Wally has two bodies! His ""regular"" one, which changed to fit more to survive, and adapt the the amount of energy he had to take in, because this lil man was TINY compared to a house right?

And he also has a other one!

That you've probably seen him before, I like to call him Hunter, basically an incarnation of the entity that was making Home alive in the form of Wally!

(And no, the entity that you see on screen isn't how Home reacted, I could go on a whole rant on how that works but we'd be here all day! So if you wanna know deeper into it, ask my main blog @the-doodle-cave or join my discord server :) )

That version of him is what chases and hunts you, to try and sustain itself, he's pretentious and self centered too...so be careful..
