This has been on my mind... making me chuckle for a few days now. I've really debated if I wanted to draw this... and I still might, but kdsjfksld HOLY COW IS THAT A HILARIOUS MENTAL IMAGE.

He takes silly progress photos, in complete lumberjack garb. His partner is deeply confused. The last two photos of the sequence include him at full term hitting a tree with his axe, and the final picture is a stupid baby picture on a tree stump.

You don’t know how much I LOVE that dynamic. I usually would always think of Kai.to as like an Alpha (cause I was lazy and couldn’t put any thought into it at the time), but omega Kai.to is SOOO good and it makes so much sense given his personality in the game. I would also always think of Ou.ma as like a beta or alpha. I just would never think Ou.ma would be an omega for some reason, it just didn’t seem right for me most of the time without some very detailed reasoning that hooks to his personality and the plot. What I hate about Omegaverse is that it thrives off of stereotypes(some of them are just plain bigoted iyk what I mean) and a closed-minded society a lot of the time. I wish it didn’t though. :/

Before I fully answer this ask: I don't want to talk about this au much more on this blog because... it's not great! and I don't wanna be associated with it! HOWEVER I'm more than willing to talk about it in dms or something since it's admittedly something that has rotted a hole into one of the lobes of my brain.

I'm really glad you like it! I remember having a lot of mental debate about that dynamic, and mainly for the incredibly shallow reason of "Momota isn't my type," but the more I thought about it, the more it grew on me. I genuinely adore the idea of certain people trusting Momota easier because of his dynamic even if it's an unspoken/unrecognized thing, and I REALLY love the idea of Momota trying to present as a hyper masculine alpha out of insecurity, because it seems really in character for him.

Ouma's secondary gender is really weird, thinking about him with ANY secondary gender leads down a rabbit hole, because no matter what he would be pretty hyper aware of the stereotypes that come with it. For example, people knowing he was an alpha would lead to them not trusting his planning, thinking he's impulsive and reckless, not to mention potentially being fearful of a few other... alpha tenancies. If he was a beta, his leadership would probably be undermined since he wasn't "made" for the position of a leader and he couldn't possibly understand what other's are going through. Finally as an Omega, there's the obvious trait of being seen as weak, but there's a lot more to explore in people projecting stereotypes onto him or using derogatory or demeaning language. No matter what, Ouma would most certainly lie about his dynamic for these reasons. Also... to mess with people... he's Ouma Kokichi what do you expect lmao.

I honestly REALLY HATE how narrow minded the Omegaverse can be. I'm well aware that it's primarily a weird sex trope built on hierarchy and power dynamics, animalistic lingo, a backwards way of justifying non-con and mpreg, and not to mention, a really weird underlying need to write females out of existence, so I'm not exactly trying to hold it to a high standard or anything. I just... honestly wish it was better? Since it could be really neat, and I'll be honest in saying I have fun thinking about what different dynamics would imply for a character.

I really dislike how my grubby little brain clung to this stupid sex au and said "Hey! what if you thought about the social and biological implications of this... but like... not getting to deep into it... but also thinking about it a little bit all the time :)"

The omegaverse is my personal hell.

You’ve done ko. ki. chi but have you considered kai. to or both for either chub or Mpreg art?👀

I've considered him for chub art before, but I cannot take the idea of Mo.mota mpreg seriously if I'm being honest. I have a note written somewhere with like... a collection of my mpreg hcs for the guys, and under Mo.mota's section is just reads:

- This concept is cursed, simply too cursed

- “[sucks in air between teeth] yeah uhhhh Ka.ito I don’t think you’re just sick-”

Also I'm just GENERALLY not confident drawing Mo.mota so that's why he hasn't shown up much.
