Inspired by the @queen-fantasy-week wonderful prompts for day 2~ 💜 Thank you for making me re-visit this AU!

And here's a work in progress~ (yes, with a lil extra tiny Roger who was supposed to hold a sign "Next stop, everywhere", but it didn't fit. Maybe something for the future projects?)

Little addition about the day:

Tuesday, March 30th, 1976 The band heads to Tokyo by plane from Itami Airport. They land past 3 pm and head to Hotel Pacific Tokyo. Several dozen fans are waiting in the hotel, so the band takes a private elevator that Frank Sinatra used to take, and go to the press conference scheduled for 5 pm. The band attends the reception party at 6 pm. During the kagamibiraki ceremony (busting open a large barrel of sake with a mallet), Roger, being the drummer that he is, takes aim and brings down the mallet onto the barrel, showering Brian with sake in the process.

I rly enjoyed making this one! It took me much longer than it would have if I had painted it, but it was very cool to try out a different style. I'm quit sure I'm gonna try making more collages😇

A quick, spontaneous sketch of Brian

A local children's art school was drawing in a park on Children's Day. I was admiring their works and they asked me to join them and I thought, why not? Next moment I had a brush and paint in my hands. No planning, no worries, no reference pics, just tip the brush in and go!💛

And then of course I got to educate the kids on Queen😁 No it's not the guitarist but the drummer who is blond😂
