I know you’re not super into the rpgs but this image from” field guide to action and adventure” a crossover book for their power rangers , G.I.Joe , and transformers properties just make my imagination sore. I feel like RC and Kimberly are just shit talking everyone in the back lol.

This should have been the cover image bc Kim/Arcee is peak and then I wouldn't have people yelling at me for calling Devastator "c-list"

Wait, of course! I’m positive the Decepticon Onslaught once met a member of G.I. Joe who went by that alias. Let me check my Combat Command File… oh, bother. Most of the file appears to have been corrupted. I’ll have to travel back in time to recover it, but right now I can definitely see the codename starts with “Ghost-”.

what attracts you to the Power Rangers franchise?

I've been into it since I was a literal child in the 90s, so there's that nostalgia.

I'll be completely honest though, at this point I feel like I'm more a fan of it as a concept and what it has the potential to be rather than what it is.... Because it's become so stagnant and formulaic that a lot of fan projects feel more innovative.

As what it could be.... it's all the high octane action and power of friendship of any Shounen Anime, with a superhero vibe and a mecha anime gimmick spread across an extended universe with 30 years of lore.

The potential for storytelling is insane.

I cannot guarantee this is necessarily applicable to you but the Bulbasaur egg you got sounds a lot like what like what my Blaziken egg look like. If it’s anything like the hybridization I had to deal with when I first got them prepare for wacky sometimes self-defeating anatomy and contradictory needs

Hmm I've been thinking that it might be like a hybrid so currently I've been preparing for what ever a bulbasaur charmander hybrid might need..but my main question is where would the flame be or would it be born with out the flame?

I thought this panel was a visually interesting ,seeing what I can best describe as deterioration of the red suit overtime was neat. And the implication that the morphing grid was a limited resource in this universe. Also kind of fascinated me.

Nico Leon uses the triple diamond pattern a lot throughout the issue - not in panels like this but in background details, like the screens at Zack's fundraiser! It's a really cool use of the motif.

And yes, I caught the implication that the Ranger powers have limits to their use. It's an interesting take on the "rules" of the Grid's power (of which there are few to none) and I'm curious if it has anything to do with the Mysterious Shadow Figure stealing Power Coins. I like it, if it's meant to reinforce the Rangers' teamwork motif; of how Rangers have to share their power rather than one person taking it all for themself

I know they’re vary different but I love the look of the Godzilla suits Zack /king Caesar is my fave

(for those who don't know Matt Frank DID confirm Zack's suit is King Caesar on his twitter, btw)

I really like the suit too!! I'm a sucker for swirl patterns. And I'm interested in seeing it from an angle that isn't side profile to determine how they made Caesar's ears work on that helmet

If you have the time and inclination, I would love your opinion. I’m trying to draw an April O’Neil. What do you think of the colors of the clothing and prosthetic arm specifically? I’m just not feeling them, but I don’t know where to go from here.

I think the colors of her clothes are fine, but the prosthetic sticks out a bit. Maybe adjust the saturation levels?

If you're stuck on color I would definitely recommend looking at other April adaptations and see how they use their individual palettes!

Wow I’m realy …meh about these suits

I mean.....I figured going in that they would just be Ranger Slayer-fied versions of the other colors, and that's what they are skjfksd I do appreciate at least how we're finally getting a (sort of) Boom-original team that actually has VARIETY amongst the individual rangers, rather than just color-swaps
