Starting in on a quick gaming figure. Seems I am more at ease with those than anything else. Model is from @myfortoahonu and his miniature range #kahaminiatures. Fun little model to paint up that will lead my forces for #testofhonour once it lands from #warlordgames. But more work required still... After some sleep :)

Merman is underway. Just some of his skin for now. Will work on blending and highlighting next. Also added some colour to the beastie. It looked kinda bland so I added some crab like red to its shell. Next on the block, something very outside my wheelhouse. Sculpting. I wanted something different for Merman from @kahaminiatures , so the base will have water effect and a beastie I hope not to ruin. Some progress in Evil-Lyn. Sceptre's orb is turning out well. Face is ok. Needs shading. Then I need to figure out what to go with the arm connection points. They did not fit 100% well and need to figure out where clothing stops and skin begins. Worked on the dungeon base a bit. Trying to make it look a bit unkempt. Might play with some colours. Also, initial layer of geso for Kobra Khan. Paint can start next. Hopefully won't find too many more areas that need filling or smoothing now. Always find more after the base coat. Next! Kobra Khan. Khaaaaaan! Just getting that one out of the way. Needs to be trimmed, sanded and gap filled. Lots of little annoying bubbles. Also, his forest base with the secret ingredient I would never have thought to use. Loose tea! Those bits of wood are just that. Never thought I would ever paint tea. 2nd base is a pressing from a Basius pad. Vaseline is just to help with the release.
