Self-Doubt (Read full caption) I was not at all photogenic. Ek umar tak I totally hate clicking photos. Isiliye shayad kacchi umar ki jyada tasveere hai nahi mere pass. Hum me se har ek ke andar vo ek inferiority complex rahta hai ki yar meri shakl acchi to hai na, mere bal thik to hai na, etc etc. Shayad vaisa hi kuch tha muze mere motape ko lekar. I was bit fat during my school days. Sab "motu, dholya," kar ke chidhate the jo mera self esteem aur niche lekar jata tha. Aaj hume koi chubby, golu molu dikha to hume cute lagta hai par us wakt muze cute bolnewala mere gharwalo ko chodkar koi tha nahi. Kuch ladkiya bhi thi jo aksar meri firki leti thi. Jan Bhuj kar muze bhagne lagati taki mera majak bana sake. Ye aapko kafi Normal lag raha hoga lekin it was a big issue for that 13 year boy. Ek uncle ne sikhaya tha ki kisi ne agar mota kaha to bolna "tuya bapachya ghar ch khato ka" (tere bap ke ghar ka khata kya) but yar vo tahjeeb me nahi lagta tha. Fir sal bit te gaye aur self doubt badhta gaya. Remember one thing, self confidence takes years to build and seconds are enough to break it. Cut to today, aaj agar aap kitni bhi photo kichvaoge, to mai thakhunga nahi. Aisa samaj lijiye ki vo umar ki bachi huyi sari photos ka kota ab pura karna chahta hu. I don't know ye kitna relatable hai, but yes, yaha sacchai bohot hai. Hum me se kafi sare log hai jo aaj bhi self doubt me hi jite hai. I still suffer from self doubt frequently, but I found one trick to come out of it. Yes, it's that simple, not a rocket science, in fact, just one word, "acceptance". When you accept yourself, you fall in love with your character. Believe me, it's possible. So, if you are fat, thin, too dark, too fair, face with pimples, brown eyes, with dark spots, etc just do one thing, accept yourself as you are and start working on what you have in hand instead of worrying. You will see, people also loving you! Try as an experiment and feel the beauty of your soul!
