It felt like your breath echoed in your own ears. Blood rushed as a sneer kissed your face, the room dead silent. Victory weighed nothing compared to the guarantee of losing this guy had been swinging in front of your face. Your own win surprised even you, but you weren’t going to let them catch on to that.

The student in front of you slammed their weight onto the table, screaming about cheating and other random insults his pig brain decided to spew. A preppy jneer crooned to outmatch his mindless squealing, whispers of a crowded pack nipping at his reddened ears. You stood to meet him, hackles raised and ready to degrade the former alpha in front of you.

You hummed, a smile sewn onto your face as you made your way down the hallway, you’d told Ryota to meet you in his classroom after school. Bouncing into the classroom, you grinned, waving at him and he greeted you. Your skirt curled around you, twisting as you approached your friend. You placed yourself in front of him, hands on either side, leaning in. A cocky grin drawn on your face, a nervous happy slapping his.

“Welcome back to the land of the living.” Purring striped from your lips as money was pushed into Ryota’s hand and it forced to close.

His eyes widened, immediate whining about not being able to accept it, his face flushed red along with your body being flushed against him. His heart seemed to scream in his throat, emotions flooded his windows as they reflected your close expression.
