7- What character(s) do you think are underrated and/or underappreciated? Tell us about them and their lore!

For my chosen question, I'll posit two champions: Orianna and Tryndamere.

Orianna I'm assuming won't be underrated for long (with Arcane season 2 on the horizon), but her story is more self-contained in the Piltover/Zaun world. She slowly succumbs to poison from trying to help Zaunites, which leads to this wonderfully tragic familial bond with her father trying to fix her with clockwork parts. She ends up repaying the favor as he grows old and weak, but by that point, all that was left of his human daughter is gone, never to return home again. (completely impromptu but fiorianna is my league crackship because I was listening to the Shostakovich Piano Concerto from Fantasia 2000 and my brain was like "toy soldier!fiora x music box ballerina!orianna is genius, actually)

Tryndamere's a bit of a weird one too - the original "barbarian who wouldn't die" lore has been revamped with a connection to darkin blood magic ("A Smoldering Coal")? Mostly this is me thinking it's underappreciated from a League lore writer perspective, rather than the fandom. You can't just leave a revelation like that in a single color story!

8- Favourite canon relationship? (Romantic, platonic, familial, enemies, anything goes.)

Kalista/Ledros - I dunno man, something about the tragedy of irrevocably changed lovers... "The Echoes Left Behind" is an amazing story too, I would've put that for my favorite short story answer.

Second shoutout to Nasus and Renekton - I rewatch those LoR interactions ever so often because their brotherly bond, broken or not, transcends centuries at this point and it kills me every time

9- What's your favourite region, and why?

Tie between Shurima and the Shadow Isles - when there are massive events of catastrophe that can be traced back to a tragedy between individuals - *chef's kiss*. It makes the regions feel big yet intimate at the same time.

14- Any headcanons about your favourite region? Cultural, political, etc; anything that comes to mind!

Ooh I'll do Shadow Isles for this one. I like to headcanon that the Shadow Isles regulars all know each other in like a "oh, THAT guy" kind of way. Like Thresh and Yorick are silently feuding; Hecarim, Kalista, and Ledros are the resident angst triangle, Viego is the resident angst EPICENTER, etc. Everyone's ticked off at each other XD

Of course, then there's Maokai who's trying his best :')

23- What character's abilities (either in League or LoR, if applicable) fit their lore the most?

Xayah! The way that her abilities generate feathers for her autos, which play into her E, is super cohesive. Plus, all the cool flash + ult + E plays where you can fly across parts of the map!!! Gah I wish I was better at her.
