"Cari's been trying to escape his tower," Avelan says it quietly, though the pain in his expression is loud despite his efforts to contain it. "....Cecil's taking care of it."

Avelan holds a wooden bowl beneath a small cascade of water, pulling it back to him once it was filled, and drinks until he felt satisfied. "...Lydia's spoken to Yukaine and Hatius. There's no cases in the Underworld as of yet, though I might have to ask her and Mercury to remain in Kapisola, given things..."

"...It's at least a relief to know that the Underworld is still untouched, but Cari..."

Allisae wanted to reach over and give her brother's hand a squeeze, but when she felt the bite of her own nails draw blood, she hid her hands in the folds of her dress. It was the one nervous habit she couldn't break, the picking. And too obvious to those who knew her. She didn't want to burden her brother with anymore worry as of now.

No more bodies.

She repeated it in her head like a mantra, fighting the memories threatening to resurface as she holds a private conversation with her daughter through their Connection.

-'Matei, I'm so sorry...'- It breaks her heart to hear Chercia sound so...resigned. Shattered.

No more bodies.

-'It's alright, my love. You have nothing to apologize for. Are you in pain? Is there anything I can do for you...?'- Is there anything she could do? From this distance? In this condition?

Her gaze drifts toward Liliana, and she pushes a smile to her face when the girl notices her mother's gaze. Lily smiles back and waves before returning to playing with Lydia and the baby in the shallows of the river.

No more bodies. Please, let there be no more bodies to bury.

Allisae had snuck away from her sentenced bedrest to knock on her brother in laws’s door, her voice muffled as she calls. And when she’s received, her voice is still just as quiet, though she tries to stand as though the fatigue isn’t weighing on her bones. “Eno, I know there’s a lot on your mind, but could I ask for a favour? Do you think Taeseong and Jaime could stay for a while?” She rings her hands, falling silent for a moment. “Lily refuses to leave my side, though I know constantly seeing me this way is hard on her. I was hoping having Taeseong around will help her, especially whenever I need to leave to take care of things on Gaea..”

The past week or two had been rough on Enoch. Even with him carefully portioning out his energy between what he was using to sustain Heaven, keep the realm barred off, help Sebiphere, and trying not to completely deplete his reserves? The organization and monitoring of everything, worrying after his family and Zasar, on top of taking care of Felci and Zara? It left him exhausted by the time he got through his schedule for the day and got ready for bed.

And the past few days, said exhaustion had begun to show on his face. Nothing too obvious-- he had never been one to allow himself to show any weakness, and now was no different-- but there was a shadowing in his eyes where there usually wasn't. He was sure, however, when he opened his bedroom door with Zara in his arms, (having just finished feeding the little one) that Allisae could see it.

"You should have called. I'd have brought Felci over to play with Liliana...and you'd no doubt be much more comfortable. Pushing yourself when you're already running yourself ragged isn't going to do you or your realm any favors."

Blunt, perhaps, but that was probably also on account of the tiredness. Eno sighs, and shakes his head a little as he bounces the baby in his arms.

"...Sorry. I would rather not see you suffering any more than you already are, is all. As for Taeseong and Jaime...unfortunately, that might not be the best idea. Being exposed to the divinity here for a long period may hurt Taeseong, given his condition. For Jaime, I'm not entirely sure it would be possible for her to stay for more than a few days at a time, give or take. Teoniv beings aren't able to replenish their energy while outside of Eokketion, and while I can't say that I'm completely knowledgeable as to the side effects that might cause her if she were to try to stretch that time limit, I can't imagine it would be anything good...though that's not to say that they couldn't stay for a day or two at a time, or even just a few hours, if need be. But I do see the dilemma..."

Pale gaze lowers to Zara with a low hum, and for a few moments the god looks to be deep in thought.

"I assume that Kapisola is out of the question? In case it closes abruptly, or something of the like? Here, come in and sit down..."

Alongside the confetti, Niko has a giant card with his paw print next to Kade’s. It was super hard trying to get Pa’s print while he was asleep, bit he did it! Violetta and Lyran’s tiny prints are there, too. And the triplets! Happy Father’s day Pa!

Truth be told, Kade hadn’t been asleep long when Niko had begun messing with his paw the other day. But after he’d made sure the pup wasn’t getting into any trouble, he’d decided to just...play along. Continue pretending to sleep and let him finish whatever he’d come over for in the first place. 

And now that he’d seen the card, he was happy he had. 

“Ya really were busy, weren’t ya~?” He exclaimed with a grin, reaching over to ruffle Niko’s hair...and then each of the triplets, and Violetta and Lyren’s when they all started over for affection, too. It was his first Father’s Day (they had never really had anything like this back in the Plains), so he hadn’t really known what to expect, but...this was nice. Just he, and Morgan, and the kids spending the day together.

He’d enjoy this for as long as he could.

“Here, why don’t we go ‘n find somewhere t’ throw that confetti? Sounds like fun t’ me...~”

Izumi having an unrequited crush on his mentor? Yes, absolutely. Though we obviously already have something related to their being a teacher and student with one another. Though maybe romance is an option for these two too? Idk I kinda wanna talk something like that out, yeah?

2. Izumi & Miyuna

There’s definitely a protector/protected vibe with these two, in addition to a budding sort of romance with these two. Obviously, Avelan has other things to say, but Alli supports them.

3. Izumi & Allisae

Probably more unrequited crush stuff honestly. Though I also see them as having a very good relationship as friends with one another. Still, I could also talk smth romantic out with them too.

4.Damian & Serina

I’m just saying, maybe fuck buddies, probably something like that. Or maybe he could be the trigger of redemption for her. It’d be nice to see if someone could convince her to change her ways and become a better person.

5. Sayomi & Allisae

Honestly, I just want the twins to meet one of Izumi’s friends. Plus, he does talk about them to Sayomi, so I can see her being curious to learn about them as well. Especially since she knows they’re important to him.

Allisae on a morning phone call with Charles, just begins to softly sing "Once Upon a December" from Anastasia as she goes about her room tidying up.

Charles listened. He listened carefully while his coffee would warm him. Saying that he is use to hearing ladies sing to his phone is a complete lie, and honestly he is glad that he never sees himself getting use to it. Like a polite man, he didn’t interrupt her. He didn’t say a word. He didn’t want to.

Instead the only one who would talk would probably be Tur wondering about the sound as Charles continued with his own quiet routine in the morning.
