romance plotlines in western shows suck and i hate them with a passion, but when a kdrama has a romance plotline i'm on the edge of my seat. kdrama actors will look at each other with so much love and adoration, meanwhile in american shows (for example) they barely even seem to like each other as people.

#idk in western shows it's like. rote. it's just there bc it Should Be there and that's it #kdramas make me BELIEVE it. i'm acrually invested in it #yesterday my uncle was just saying that he's been watching kdramas for this exact reason and i'm SO glad i'm not the only one #and it made me wanna continue my jewel in the palace rewatch bc min jung ho >>> everything
