Choosing your battles

In the tradition i practice of lukumi, it has always been said to keep a cool head. To look and think things through collectively, rationally, etc. Right now i have a so called friend that has betrayed me by talking ill of me.

He doesn't know that I know, but talking to him would equate to confrontation. This is a time to choose my battles, and be wise about things.
