Omg I was literally in the mood to drawing some of my favorite breadwinners characters.

I really love All of them especially the pizzawinners the rest of the cast was easier for me to draw but for some odd reason i’ve never drawn Rambamboo before so I apologize if she doesn’t look 100% accurate here.

But my cousin really wanted me to add a background To this since she wanted this as a wallpaper for her iPad so just mixed up some of my favorite colors on there, not good at making backgrounds.

There were actually more characters that I wanted to add here Like jelly and t-midi and so much more, but obviously there was not enough space to put any of them there so I had to cut out some characters.

This isn't really art but bro hear me out

I was thinking about having Rambamboo as Meiko or Flower but would she really enjoy being assigned as a VOCALOID at all?😭 I just left her out because I couldn't decide (Pumpers as Kaito real, tho I was thinking about having him as Gackpo-)

I was a little heavy on the Ketta as Meiko thing but I felt the same about T-Midi as Meiko too so I just went with Meiketta and T-Luka💀

And uhh I also thought of having SwaySway as KAFU but she isn't associated with Vocaloid whatsoever- and Miku seems a little more accurate anyway (notice how Buhdeuce is the only UTAULOID☠)

OH! ZUNA and RANI >XD (pls tell me you know who these VOCALOIDs are /lh)

Eurovision 2009 - Number 60 - Ketta - "Without You"

Latvia nearly wasn't in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. After the 2008 financial crash, money was short at broadcaster LTV. They had announced their withdrawal in the December of 2008. Luckily an agreement was reached with the EBU for a reduced fee, and as part of that agreement, LTV had to put on their selection show Eirodziesma.

At relatively short notice the selection show went ahead. Luckily it would appear that most of the Latvian music industry had been planning for the show to go ahead and so had music ready. A full slate of twenty songs competed in the semi-final and among them was Ketta.

Ketta, at least to the English-speaking and searching part of the Internet, is a bit of a mystery. I think she may be connected to Romāns Faļkenšteins and his wife Dina. She had a 2008 entry to the Latvian final written by Romāns and a songwriter called Inga Sergejenko, and had roles in musicals on stage. This year however she's got a song written by Pavel Murashov , a long-time producer working in the Latvian music industry and apparently someone who always likes to squeeze a reference to Jesus into his songs. That's him at the back playing a jauntily-angled keyboard.

Without You is not exactly a girl-bop, but it's a synth-heavy pop track I could imagine being given to a girl group from the time. On the one hand it does feel like a well-written and slick pop product that is compelling and very re-listenable. On the other hand it feels a little underwhelming and rough around the edges in the staging. Ketta is noticeably losing her breath by the end of the song although that doesn't affect her pitch, and I'm not entirely sure what the thing with the paper strips was at the beginning.

Despite the short-comings, the Latvian public liked it enough to put it through to the final, although only just. She finished tenth of the twenty songs in the semi-final - the last qualification spot. That final took place the day after the semi-final, and in that twenty-four hour period there appears to have been a groundswell of support for Ketta as she went from tenth in the televote to fifth overnight. Overall she finished fifth.

What happened after this I don't know. Ketta vanishes from the news and YouTube. Whether she continued singing under another name, I still don't know as I've not found out her actual name. If anyone knows any more info about Ketta, I'd love to know.

Hello everyone!

I have been wanting to do this for a bit, but I got busy with other drawings and with school, but I have finally done it! Here’s my take on Breadwinners Redesigns!

My main goal was to make them look like the animal they are meant to be, because many people didn’t know that Swaysway and Buhdeuce were ducks when looking at their designs. I knew they were ducks; my problem was with other characters like Ketta being a swan, Rambamboo being a toad, and the Pizzawinners being cranes; now that’s the ones I didn’t know their species until years later.

Anyways, I really had so much fun redesigning them! I took some inspiration from Ducktales and Chicken Run when it comes to the body and the beaks! And overall I wanted to give them some cool outfits and color palette! Also, I slightly changed some of the characters’ names because why not!
