Rain in Jaipur: Three dead, 50 families were evacuated from low-lying areas as heavy rains lashed Rajasthan capital [ad_1]

The Meteorological Department has predicted moderate to heavy thunderstorm and heavy to very heavy rainfall in the city during the next 24 hours.

Jaipur: Three people died due to heavy rains in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, flooded the low-lying areas, causing havoc in the city.

Officials said fifty families were taken from the low-lying areas of the city to safer places.

Three hours of heavy rain led to waterlogging in many parts of Jaipur. Millions of vehicles were submerged in water and stuck on the roads.

Station House Officer (SHO) Narendra Singh Khichad said that while crossing a bridge in Kanota area, three people were killed and several people were saved when a jeep swept away.

One person is hospitalized for treatment, he said.

Police said the deceased were identified as Rampratap, Paro Devi and Kanu.

Jaipur District Collector Antar Singh Nehra said that 50 families have been evacuated from the slums in Jawahar Nagar area.

He said 15-20 teams of civilian security personnel and three teams of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) have been deployed in the waterlogged areas to carry out rescue operations.

According to officials, the army was alerted after the Meteorological Department warned of heavy rain.

Traffic was disrupted on the Jaipur-Delhi highway as a boulder fell on the road.

RS Sharma, director of the Jaipur Meteorological Center, attributed the heavy rains to a cyclonic circulation over eastern Rajasthan.

He said that heavy to very heavy rainfall has been recorded in Jaipur and its surrounding areas during the last 8-10 hours. He said that 132 mm of rainfall was recorded in Jaipur and 102.6 mm in Jaipur Airport from Friday morning to evening.

The rains caused Jamwa Ramgarh (250 mm), Ambar (154 mm), Shahpura (111 mm), Bassi (89 mm), Sanganer (70 mm), Chaksu-Chomu (54 mm), Kishangarh (51 mm), Dabok 62.4). , Sikar (23.2 mm), Bikaner (14 mm), Ajmer (1.9 mm), Kota (1.4 mm) and Churu (0.2 mm).

Azaadi? The first blog post I ever posted was out of the anger that I never showed or talked about. And yet again I am here trying to write and explain and tell everyone the same things because it's hard for people to understand what decency means.  I just read an article posted on Facebook that said the daughter of an IAS officer was chased down the lanes of Chandigarh at midnight, harassed by two guys who seemingly wanted to abduct her and by that you all should know what business they meant to do and one of those two guys happened to be the son of the BJP Haryana Chief.  It's not a very new or different news but the one that we get to hear on a daily basis. What is disturbing about this is how can people from such influential background be so cheap! Are we not supposed to keep our faith in the promises that the policy makers make to us at the time they touch the feet of the so called untouchables of the society seeking for their votes and giving them the hope of building a prosperous future and a safer society? How do they forget to teach their own sons regarding the way they should behave? Do they not feel it's more important to be decent than just to complete a degree or have knowledge that can be of no good to anyone?  Do they behave in a similar way with their daughters and wives at their home?  Where are your manners? Baap ne paise phenk diye toh ladki ko rape kar lega? Yeh sanskaar maa baap ne diye ya lafange doston ne sikhaya?  I do not care about the language in the above sentence because that is exactly what they try to make us see. People coming from not so privileged background have set examples of respecting and showing decency to other people around them. What do you think is their qualifications? Do you think studying in a well reputed college or going abroad is going to make your senses more sensible to your environment? Which Ivy League college have those people graduated from then?  Your status your money or the amount of gold you have in your bank isn't or shouldn't be considered as a proof of how well behaved you are.  As I read the post her father has posted I could almost feel how my dad must be worried ALL THE TIME, not because I am irresponsible or not well informed but because of such goons who do not help in building a good society as promised by their fathers.  At a time when people are madly running a race to make more money they forget to learn how to be gentleman. Teach your child to become a gentleman first. Mat bhulo tumhare ghar mein bhi maa behen hai. Dusron pe keechad jab ghirta hai wohi khichad sabke aangan mein phehelta hai.  Where do you think the rapists come from? They come from among us. Desperate people who have forgotten their values and lost their dignity. Stalking or forcing yourself on someone isn't cool or isn't the definition of MARDAANGI. Stop being a reckless disgusting douchebag.  If the daughter of an IAS isn't safe in one of the statistically safer places in the country then we are definitely not helping in building a prosperous future or a safer place to live in.
