I love locker room speeches--that’s the sort of person I am now--but I especially love of KHL locker room speeches, delivered over whatever distracting pile of stuff has been built in the center of the room for the players to stare at, be it a stack of 25 individual pizzas, folding chairs, or this shopping cart full sweaty shoulder pads

I’m rude and mute my TV for the national anthem, at least we don’t do this throughout the season like the NHL and KHL

If this lb becomes a mess or I end up missing important moments it’s because of my shoulder pain kicking in and causing vertigo

The two teams met six times through the regular season with Lukko winning 5 of the 6

Lukko’s Saarela snipes within the first minute but TPS’s Rämö makes an easy save

Lukko’s Pospisil takes high sticking penalty but it’s 4 on 4 because TPS’s Nurmi is also sent to the box for embellishment (which in Finnish is marked as “diving”)

Funny enough, Nurmi also embellished in another plaoyffs series without being penalized so clearly this time the refs are taking a closer look at his actions

Also, unlike in the NHL no one gets fined for embellishment in Liiga, at least I don’t recall anyone ever getting fined for such, so Mikko Rantanen please come home we won’t fine you 2k

Just as the 4 on 4 ended TPS’s Bohm slashes his way to the box

TPS’s penalty kill is only 75% so they might want to stay out of the box

The PP doesn’t work as after losing the puck Lukko just keeps going offside

I must say these two teams were def the best option for final pairing because they are pretty equal in everything and also play speedy game

Momentum shift for TPS after their penalty

Lukko’s Pospisil finds his way to the box again and it’s 2+10 because of basically him punching TPS’s Kestner in the face behind the net (bubble mask saves Kestner)

Casual, the broadcast went on commercials despite the game was on
