November Shopping - Part 2

I know it’s December today, I wanted to post this entry yesterday but at my parents’ place the internet gave me hell and could not upload the pics... Anyway, November just flew away and here are the rest of the goodies I received. There will be no shopping post in December probably because I doubt anything would arrive this year in the middle of the holiday season.

I am pretty happy with the things I got: the Old Xian 2nd artbook is beyond gorgeous and after removing the foil I discovered even more goodies: apart from the poster, there were three other postcards inside the book. I will make a separate post with some sample images.

The Japanese manga are some backlogs and some new releases - the Kodaka title is extremely adorable. The Alpha x Alpha husbands’ story is interesting and beautifully drawn, I finally decided to grab Unohana’s Kimagure no Jaguar’s both volumes.

I got 2 wall calendars for 2019 (I ordered two more, the Free! one from KyoAni and the Banana Fish one): both art gorgeous as always. The SnK one has some really peaceful images, the HQ!! is adorable as always. I will continue my ‘habit’ of posting each month’s page on the first day of the related month.

Last but not least - I bought the complete rubber charm set of Hataraku Saibou (though I am only planning to keep White Blood Cell & Killer T Cell, the rest I will try to sell).

Suganami acquired competitor's company rapidly to take control on the market. For now, he takeovered Kaga's company which was Sakura’s workplace. At first, he hates Suga as hell bc he though Suga do bad thing to Kaga and take chairman position. Kaga take care of  Sakura when his father died bc they r university friend so that why Sakura want dedication to the company and help Kaga out. When Suga told Kaga have a huge debt, if not paying, something will happend to Kaga’s company so Sakura need to be his lover and secretary, listen to everything he said to help Kaga’s paying the debt.  Sakura was a tough guy, stubborn and even fight over yakuza so that even make him hates Suga more. But in the end, he known that the one who betray the company, want to sell its is CEO (Kaga’s friend). Kaga couldn’t deal with that so he sold his company to Suga ( or pretend to leave the company and give his position for Suga for awhile) and came back after Suga resolve that problem for him.

May Shopping

Another fruitful month, new YOI stuff got released and now I am really in desperate need of a new bookshelf (or two)...

I got a pretty big box full of mangas including Kyuugou’s oneshot (it.is.GORGEOUS), Ten Count’s last volume, Ogawa Chise’s, Uekawa Kichi’s, Chiba Ryouko’s, Mio Junta’s and Michinoku Atami’s latest, along with the adorable Tadaima Okaeri latest volume and the new cat hit: Oji-sama to Neko. I also bought the second part (and still tbc) of a student x teacher story by Kinoshita Keiko and the 3rd volume of Natsume Isaku’s Hanakoi Tsurane. As you can see I also got the YOI x Sanrio ‘artbook’ which is basically a really thin magazine but at least the pouch that came with it is adorbs.

The English BL manga publishing is devastatingly unfruitful (compared to e.g. the German or French market) so I only got the 6th volume of Awkward Silence and a Finder published by SuBLime.

As for merchandise: of course more YOI - the adorable 6 part clearfile set, the YuraYura metal charms (set of 9) and the Kiss & Cry area for my nendos (waiting for couch!Victor nendo to set it up properly). I am usually not into Nitotan but this BnHA daywear set was adorable and had most of the characters I wanted to have, I went for it.
