Look it's so silly but one of my favorite Edward Scissorhands scenes is when Kim comes home and finds Edward laying in her bed and wakes the whole house up screaming at the top of her lungs after Edward accidentally destroys her waterbed (and then stands off to the side frozen in shock). Just. The fact that she is screaming the entire time, the parents coming out and Peg immediately blocking Kim from escaping while she tries to figure out whats' happening. The dad actually having braincells for once in the movie. Kevin walking out like he's sleepwalking and 100% done with his sister's shenanigans and immediately going back to bed. Edward BOOKING it out of Kim's room while completely soaking wet and absolutely embodying the quote "where are you going?" "AWAY!"* how both parents just grab a child and yoink them into separate rooms by unspoken agreement. I don't know why it's just absolutely hilarious to me.
