DENRELE as Angélì awon Ole (Guardian Angel of Thieves, AGĘSINKÓLÉ) at the just concluded Cultural-Carnivalicious-Premiere-Xtravaganza of @femiadebayosalami 's #KingOfThieves ! WHATTTTTTTT! The IMAX Cinemas was PACKED to the HILT! There were NO seats as fans resorted to sitting on the floor.... Like, the entire Stairwell was even flooded with people! From the stables of @femiadebayosalami 's @euphoria360_ and @niyi_akinmolayan 's @_anthillstudios , I saw these Filmmakers create a Work of Art that currently stands at the forefront of the Cinematic Revolution with a Vision! Last time I attended an Epic Cinematic Premiere was in 2020, for @mercyjohnsonokojie 's "The Legend of Inikpi". Fast forward to last Sunday and the "KING OF THIEVES" premiere not only showcased the Richness of our Yoruba Culture/Values/Norms, but also changed the Dynamics of FilmMaking and became a CULTURAL RESET! A movie with a convincing Plot and Storyline with historical and philosophical weight, brilliant cinematography and my GOOD LORD! THE ACTINGGGGGG??? Everyone's Character Interpretation was STELLAR!!!!! Too much Grammar; Please go see KING OF THIEVES once it starts showing in all Cinemas Nationwide, come APRIL 8TH!
