nakyung’s first time at waterbomb and she had so much fun!!

though her main concern was not falling when the stage got too wet😭

she was super excited to perform the original choreography in front of ppl like idk she LOVES LOVES performing she loves hearing ppl cheer and scream her name

fans posted her reaction to julie taking her shirt off😭 she gasped, fanning herself before reaching for her own shirt

also dw she had like a skin colored bandeau top under her bikini top similar to julie i just didnt feel like finding one and adding it

her part of sticky in the last part with her in the center also went viral

literally give this girl any opportunity and she WILL be shaking her ass

girl she almost got stung by a bee while on stage… she kept backing away and almost fell into the backup dancers but they caught her😭 she does not like bugs…

i want to say the most important thing for after the performance . She had so much fun watching shinee’s minho perform in the crowd like she pushed herself up to the front

How does enhypen’s concert performances work now with Xiuhi?

So, I'd imagine them like Seventeen's concerts, I'd say different units would appear and get off of stage.

For example, The boys would be able to play their songs from before the girls' debut with them, and the girls would be able to do their songs from their sub-unit [L!ON3SS].

This gives either the girls/boys some time to relax while either group performs. Seventeen does this with their sub-units!

I'd also see them be able to take over one of the boys' spot if one of the male members couldn't perform for any reason. Sometimes they kind of just harmonize with the boys.

What did the fans think of Xiuhi's addition to ENHYPEN?

I think about ¾ of the fandom either doesn't care, became fans when Xiuhi were already in the group, or supported the co-ed change. Obviously there will be some fans who don't like the addition and would preferred ENHYPEN as a boy group, but you know, what can they do?

Honestly Xiuhi doesn't bother with the fans who don't enjoy their presence within enhypen because frankly there's nothing they can do, even if the girls understood their dislike for them, this is Xiuhi's careers, they love all of their fans, even the ones who don't want the girls in the group, but some things are inevitable.

What do Xiuhi's Autographs look like?

I actually did have some idea of what I wanted their autographs to look like! Spoiler warning, I do like Xiulin's better.

See, Xiulin's signature has a specific X, the roman numeral for Ten, that is to say, she's always 10/10, ya know? Honestly, Xiulin has a better handwriting than I do HAHAH

Aohi's signature could be interpreted two different ways, one as a star, two as a flower. One, Aohi's vibe is kind of, galaxies, stars, rockstar, out of this world-esque. It was fair to match her with a star.

Secondly, a flower, specifically a Hibiscus, in the Philippines, they're called gumamela. (goo-mah-mel-ah) Aohi's childhood home was filled with these shrubs that grew them, and she incorporated those flowers into her signature.

Will Xiuhi get any unit songs?

Actually, I do have a playlist for Xiuhi's sub-unit, but it's unifinished, despite this anyway, I'll share -> here!

Xiuhi's sub-unit is mix-up, just like nmixx, with a dash of KIOF and XG.

What are Xiuhi's mic colours?

initial thoughts: from the teasers + highlight medley, i already know this isn’t really an album for me, but i’m still excited to experience this project + i love that nayeon had so much input and got to express what she wanted so well. the creative direction for this + teasers + packaging definitely feels like a step up from some recent jype projects whic is super encouraging. my most anticipated track is halligalli bc i like akmu’s music a lot + magic bc i think nayeon + julie will play off each other soo well

abcd: i’ve listened several times and it’s definitely grown on me. i like it more and more with each listen. it does seem a bit pieces, like the different parts are a little too distinct + it could benefit from a smoother flow. i also would have liked an additional chorus + proper outro more like the audio that we got from the mv bc that felt more complete tbh. the choreo feels the same way, a bit stiff + disconnected sometimes, but i think it will improve a lot as she becomes more comfortable over the next several performances. i do like the live stages more. the mv was a bit disappointing to me, but i don’t like most jype videos bc i prefer storylines over just glamour shots + choreo, which they tend toward. the quality was good though + felt v nayeon ^^

butterflies: ohh her voice is so pretty. her rapping sounds a bit like chaeyoung sometimes.. the lyrics are a bit cheesy but it's cute

heaven (ft. sam kim): this sounds suits her voice really nicely

magic (ft. julie of kiof): they play off each other really well. julie was definitely a great choice to feature on this song. it'd be fun to see them perform it together i think they'd have great performance chemistry

halligalli (prod. by lee chanhyuk of akmu): super cute + fun lyrically. the comparison of falling in love to a game where you're constantly aware and making careful, deliberate choices feels more mature, which aligns with her current stage of life. i think it matches well with her vibe + the song is catchy and fun

something: my favorite so far. i really love the chorus it's so smooth and groovy. her voice sounds sooo nice too

count it: looooove. tied with pop! for my favorite nayeon track for sure

misc thoughts:

it definitely feels like it's marketed toward western audiences, which is fine + makes sense considering where she's at with her career rn

lyrically it's v consistent with the ideas each song is conveying + the sound feels cohesive overall and has a natural progression of brighter -> richer and laid back

the album shows off her voice so well. it doesn’t have any crazy vocal moments, but instead shows off how consistently pretty her voice is.

overall thoughts: i love that she went full in with a sexy, mature concept. she stayed true to her personal charms + expressed herself as a soloist well. even though it’s not a project that i personally resonate with, i think she did so well and it’s something to be so proud of

mv storyline: iko's parents are not around much. because of this, she is essentially raising her two younger siblings while working and being a student. this leaves her no time to indulge in her passion for dancing, making her feel trapped in her life.

their debut showcase was the first stage nakyung’s been on since iz*one disbanded and she was just shaky with nerves the entire time.

the members were all equally nervous though so they all comforted one another.

with a few exceptions, some of her iz*one members did come to the showcase and visited her backstage!! due to schedules, some weren’t able to such as j-line besides sakura 😕

yunjin also came as they were pledis trainees together!

for those that couldn’t come, she, of course, got a kkt from them congratulating her for her re-debut <3 iz*one girlies aside, she also got messages from idols like chungha, itzy’s ryujin and chaeryeong, fromis_9’s nagyung, and chuu.

it made her super emotional as she missed them a lot and wishes they could’ve all still been together in a group but also she really likes where she is now. she’s more than content with her present and future path.

nakyung had changed so much from her iz*one days, she thought fans wouldn’t like her anymore or forgotten about her since it’d been so long😭

but she did get a lot of support from fans all around the world and in korea

the mv starts with nakyung entering a karaoke bar with her friends, arms linked with another brunette girl.

the scene leads to her performing on the karaoke stage as the song ‘heart attack’ starts, a surprisingly upbeat song for the dark atmosphere of the karaoke bar.

she’s having fun! the crowd, however… is not enjoying it. her friends are torn between cheering her on or having secondhand embarrassment before the brunette girl she was with pulls her off the stage and out the karaoke bar. the song abruptly cuts off before the first verse ends

she’s confused and slightly angry, wanting to go back and finish her performance but the friend pulls her back. the viewers can’t hear what the friend is saying, hearing muffled sounds of water instead. but nakyung is visibly getting more upset and angry, tears rising to her eyes but refusing to fall.

she takes off, walking home in the dark in angry and upset silence until she catches sight of an audition flyer for a company. she tears it off the wall and the scene ends.

the scene starts with nakyung nervously staring at a door before following an older man inside. a camera is facing the wall, three people, one man, two women, are behind the camera, facing her.

with a deep breath, she bows and introduces herself. this is the first time the viewers have heard her voice. the woman tells her to start when she’s ready.

nakyung starts to sing heart attack again and the background changes from the room to a large stage, now changed into different clothes than before.

the viewers are shown a large crowd, all holding red lightsticks in the air but too blurred they barely even look like lightsticks— all you can see is the red glow.

nakyung is dancing to the choreo along with other girls dressed in simple black clothes; her backup dancers.

the scene switches to her in a recording studio, still singing heart attack. it turns to the staff behind the window, nodding in satisfaction.

the scene switches again to nakyung holding fansigns, talking to fans and signing albums.

the viewers are shown nakyung performing on stage in the same red outfit, the song and fanchants coming to an end as she smiles at the crowd/camera.

she has a solo shot of her, still wet and shivering only in a shirt and skirt, walking past belle, who is on the ground with her head in hands. she hesitates as if debating on whether to ask her if she’s okay or not, but ultimately continues walking away. belle looks up in time just to see nakyung walking away, back facing her.

she’s seen looking up at the fireworks in awe along with the rest of the members.

somehow she’s made her way back to the girls and back to where the audition was— showing up just in time to watch julie’s car hit natty. her mouth drops open, watching natty try to walk it off.

The U.S. government operates some limited direct broadcasting services, but all are either highly specialized (and, since the dawn of the millennium, automated) information services (WWV/WWVH time service, NOAA Weather Radio) or targeted at foreign audiences like Voice of America. From 1948 to 2013, foreign-targeted broadcasts, many of which were intended as propaganda, were barred from U.S. audiences because of the Smith–Mundt Act, a restriction that has since been lifted. While NOAA Weather Radio has individual terrestrial repeaters across the United States (albeit on a special band reserved for such broadcasts), WWV, VOA and others operate from single shortwave facilities; none of these services can be heard on the AM or FM bands most common on U.S. radio. In early 2016, KIOF-LP (97.9 FM) in Las Vegas, Nevada began airing VOA News hourly, and is the only known public radio station in the United States to broadcast the VOA news service since the Smith–Mundt Act restrictions were lifted. Local stations derive some of the funding for their operations through regular pledge drives seeking individual and corporate donations, and corporate underwriting. Some stations also derive a portion of their funding from federal, state and local governments and government-funded colleges and universities, in addition to receiving free use of the public radio spectrum. The local stations then contract with program distributors and also provide some programming themselves. NPR produces its own programming (PBS, by contrast, does not create its own content, which is instead produced by select member stations and independent program distributors).
