Big Sister BiBi: A Drabble
Summary:Reader and Andy realize that BiBi is a little more insecure than they thought she was. Andy Barber x Black!Reader, Bianca Barber, KitCat Barber
Warnings: Sad BiBi, Loving BiBi, Slight Angst, Minors DNI
A/N: The only thing that posessed me to write this was that I talked with a very, very pregnant friend of mine about 30 min ago. Part of my Growing Pains Series. Let me know what you think.I promise BiBi is safe. Bye now!
Tumblr media
___
Hi, Sissy.” Bianca whispers as she holds her baby sister in the hospital room. “I wanted to meet you for a real long time. You okay?”
Andy keeps his hand in the vicinity. Just in case.
“We gonna be best friends. Cuz’ it’s mah job to take care of you. And you is so pretty. Pretty like BiBi. Love you!” She preens.
She lovingly kisses KitCat’s forehead. “I is so happy you here. I like Woody from Toy Story. You can have Buzz. And I will read you all duh books. And any boy dat’s mean to you, I’ll kick ‘em. If der are monsters in dah closet, I keep you safe. But our Daddy is duh best monster fighter. Woozels are afraid of our Daddy. Woozels!”
Your newborn just smiles as BiBi gives her another kiss.
“Mama? Daddy?” She gently places your newborn daughter back in Andy’s arms.
“Yes, Bianca?” She has your full attention.
“I gonna take care of KitCat, but, um, you still gonna love BiBi too?” Bianca looks down at the ground and kicks at a block “She new. And she small. I can be by myself, but it’s scary. Don’t wanna be in dah way.”
“Huh?” You and Andy mumble at the same time.
“Wuv her.” BiBi blows KitCat a kiss. “BiBi be back when she gets bigger and stronger.” Bianca gives a resolved nod before walking off.
Andy hands KitCat to you before going after Bianca.
“Now where are you going?” He growls softly.
“New baby.” BiBi tells him. “You no need anymore babies, Daddy. I wuv her, an’ she so pretty. No wanna be in dah way.” Bianca hangs her head.
“Bianca Maria”, he growls as he hauls her back in the room. “You are not in the way! Ask your Daddy if you are in the way.”
Bianca looks at Andy. “I can’t remember if I gave my baby girl kisses today. You need some kisses?”
He smothers her face with them. And then you follow suit. Your other little baby needed to know she was wanted and needed too.
“We love you, honey. We love you so much, okay?” You assure her.
“Okay.” She mumbles.”
“We love you.” *More kisses*
“We will never stop kissing you.” Andy tells her. “So get used to it now.”

KitCat gives off main character energy!!! I adore her! Like BiBi is the responsible, older sister and KitCat is the rebel. Her whispering to her baby brother at the end of the story was so funny. She is not playing with him. She is a little menace.
I can't believe I missed this in my inbox! Little KitCat is amazing, just like all of the other Barber kids. But unlike them, she's taken a much more mischievous turn in my mind...
She stays plotting.
Right now, she may or may not be cooking up a plan on the best way to kidnap Santa Claus. *shrugs*
I wish I was joking, lol.

Baby Blush
Summary: You send Andy an adorable video of your girls and their playground crush, which sends his blood pressure through the roof.
Warnings: Fluff, Girl!Dad Andy Barber, Mentions of Pregnancy, Allusions to Smut, Cursing, Minors DNI
A/N: Part of my ongoing Growing Pains Series. Likes, comments, and reblogs are appreciated. All mistakes are my own. My sleeping pills have kicked in. I'll do more edits after I wake up.
___
"Hey, baby." You smile into the phone as you watch your little BiBi chase her younger sister around the playground. "How are -?"
"Who the fuck was that?" Andy interrupts as he shuffles what sounds like papers in his office.
"Who?" You ask, pretending to be confused about the source of your husband's displeasure.
"That delinquent - the one who was making eyes at both my daughters." KitCat blows you a kiss which you pretend to catch, all the while trying not to laugh. Because you knew exactly who your man was talking about.
Just like you knew that sending him that adorable video would more than likely cause a spike in his blood pressure.
"Oh! You mean the cutie pie?" You chirp into the receiver, taking a sip of your cinnamon spice tea. "Wasn't that just the sweetest thing? And their little blushes..."
"No." Comes his stubborn grunt. "My girls are too young to blush. Especially over some player fresh out of the sandbox."
Tossing your book aside, your hand goes to rest on the swell of your pregnant belly. You listen patiently to your husband as he continues to rant while you keep a mindful eye on your babies as they take turns going down the slide.
"- And like I keep telling you, baby girl, these boys are only after one motherfucking thing! They emerge from the womb with the urge to seek and destroy."
"I know that's what you keep saying. But I would like to point out that he's also only six-years-old, my love." At this point, you can practically hear your Andy Bear raking an agitated hand through his hair.
"So what? I don't care if the kid just got out of diapers, I'm not gonna let some sticky-fingered casanova corrupt my little princesses. Ain't gonna happen." He hisses as he rifles through his desk drawers for something. You secretly hope it's that tube of lavender essential oil you'd accidentally left behind in one of the compartments during his last office get-together.
Shit calmed him down. And it was seriously beginning to sound like he could use a good whiff.
"Well, Andrew, I just spoke with his parents about getting together for a playdate. Turns out, Romeo has a little brother right around Katrina's age so --"
You're interrupted once again with more inane blustering from the love of your life and father of your two, soon to be four, children.
"His name is Romeo? As in 'oh, where for art thou'? And what the hell's his brother's name? Othello? Just no, Y/N."
Blowing out a breath, you decide that there is no point in trying to explain the differences between the two Shakespearean tragedies. Over the years you'd learned that he would eventually tire himself out all on his own.
"Actually, it's Luca. But okay, Big Man."
"Hmph! You keep forgetting that as the head of this household, it's my job to protect my girls, all five of you, from outside threats." You hear what sounds like something being slammed on his desk. Perhaps a paper weight. "And anything with a - a dangling participle is a threat, prepubescent or not."
"Uh huh. You got your oils, honey?" You look down at your nails as you internally try to justify the need for a new manicure. "I'm just curious."
"If I snort any harder, it'll be lodged halfway up my left nostril." He grouses, followed by an exaggerated sniff.
If you looked up the definition of that word in the dictionary, all you would find was a picture of your handsome man's face.
"Very good." With a sigh, you pull the phone away from your ear to check the time. Another thirty minutes and you'd be ready to head home. "You know, since you're the, uh, man of the house, how would you feel about philly cheesesteak sandwiches and fries for dinner tonight?"
"Sounds delicious. But back to this Romeo character --"
"We're meeting Romeo and his family for a playground and coffee date this Sunday at 2:00pm. And before you ask, the answer is no. No weapons, no interrogations, and no threats of jail time or anything involving any other potentially serious legal ramifications."
Had you covered everything? Maybe. Maybe not. Andrew Barber could be a lot sometimes.
"Y/N, sweetheart, I am in charge here." Andy growls, not liking any of what you just said. "And that means -"
"It means would you like waffle or sweet potato fries?" A beat goes by, letting you know that you've got him thinking.
"Waffle." Comes the quiet, bordering on sullen, huff.
"Excellent choice, sir. And speaking of choices, we'll need to leave the house by 1:30 if we're going to be on time for coffee." Standing, you begin to collect your things before attempting to wrangle the girls. "I've gotta hop off and grab the ladies, Big Man. I'll see you at home, but I also feel the need to warn you..."
"Warn me about what?" He growls, not even bothering to hide the fact that he's pouting on the other end of the phone. All six-foot-something feet of him.
"That I've already prepared my closing arguments, just in case you want to go another round about this. And I'm gonna win, with or without a jury."
"Oh, is that so?" Andy snorts.
"It is. Especially if you want me to do that thing you like tonight, or any other night for that matter."
"You talkin' about the thing you do when you wear..?" His voice trails off as his thoughts begin to drift in a different, much naughtier direction.
"Yep. C'mon babies. We've gotta go make something yummy for Daddy for dinner!"
Another beat of silence.
"So...2:00pm on Sunday. Fine." He mutters with a resigned sigh. "But I'm not gonna smile for any of it." You can practically hear the wheels turning in that beautiful mind of his. "And you're wearing the outfit tonight, complete with the heels."
"You've got yourself a deal, Big Man."

Do any of your pairings have any special plans for Halloween 👀?
Why yes they do! And here they are in no particular order...
Tumblr media
Ari "Beast" Levinson & Bird: Sweet Renegade Series Bird is hosting a special little Halloween event at Baubles & Quills in the evening before heading home to pass out candy. She's already got her costume picked out and is super excited to be going as a Pink Lady from Grease.
Bird is also trying to convince Ari to dress up too, although he's not too keen on the idea. But she isn't ready to give up yet. Our sassy southern belle is determined to change his mind.
Tumblr media
Andy Barber & Baby Girl: Growing Pains Series
This year, the Barber's family costume was inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Andy is going as the Mad Hatter, with Baby Girl as Alice.
Meanwhile, the kids got to choose which character they wanted to be, as long as they stuck with the Alice in Wonderland theme. Little BiBi is very excited to dress up as The Red Queen, while KitCat really wanted to be the Cheshire Cat. Both girls are also helping their Mama make their own costumes this year.
As for the three-year-old twins, sweet A.J. is going as the March Hare and darling Rory is set to be the most adorable Caterpillar ever.
And here's some really cool news, the Barbers are set to debut their costume a few days before Halloween at a special bash hosted by the Governor.
Tumblr media
The Trio Gals: Trio Series This year, our favorite brats are going as their version of the famed Charlie's Angels. Right now, they've almost convinced each of their respective Daddies to go as a group of criminals whose evil plot was foiled before they were taken into custody.
Mostly because those girls are looking for any excuse to put Andy, Curtis, and Ari in cuffs.
And that's it. Those are their plans. Those restraints are coming out with or without a Halloween Party. That's part of what makes those brats so scary.

I'm obsessed with this series. I'm such a sucker for love that's given often and shown so freely. Andy and Reader are each other's world. I feel like they're the type of (one day) elderly couple who if one passes, the other is following right behind in a few days to months.
I can't wait to one day read a little drabble about them when they're old and retired, maybe having their kids and grandkids over for christmas and their kids' POV watching Andy and Reader sway and canoodle under a mistletoe.
Tumblr media
At Last...
Summary: True love stories never end...
Warning: the following answer contains talk of death as well as celebrations of love and life. Read at your own risk. Takes place in my ongoing Growing Pains Series. __
Thank you. It makes me so happy that you've fallen in love with Growing Pains as well as Andy and Reader's love story. Those two are so incredibly and irrevocably devoted to one another - they really are each other's entire world.
If I'm being honest, I have thought about what the end of their time on this planet would look like. And Baby Girl always outlives Andy. Not just because she's a few years younger than him, but because there is just no other way.
He could never live without her. Not even for a month, or a couple of days. So, when the time comes and life finds him on his deathbed, they make a plan.
They're both such stubborn people, you know? So damned headstrong even up until the very end. Andrew Barber doesn't want to go.
Not yet.
But while his spirit remains young, his body is old. After all, fighting your way into your nineties is no easy feat. But he's also got four children right here in this realm to take care of, and an errant wife to look after who is just as much of a brat as she's always been.
And the doctors, well, they don't understand how he's made it so long. From everything indicated on his chart, he should've left this world days ago. But somehow Andrew Barber continues to defy the odds.
That stubborn ass ogre.
But he's also in pain. Even as he's fighting, refusing to give in. However, it's not sustainable. And Reader knows that her Big Man needs to rest. She spends every day by his bedside, rarely leaving for more than a few minutes at a time. It's been a few days since she's been able to catch a glimpse of his beautiful blue eyes, every once in a while, she's treated to a gentle squeeze of her hand.
Baby Girl knows her husband better than any other person on the planet. She knows that in order to leave her behind, even for just a little bit, she has to give him a purpose. So she crawls into bed with him, bad hip and all, and tells him her plan.
It's just between them - this task that she gives him.
She tells him to go on ahead and get their home ready - their dream home. And start decorating it the way he knows she'll like. She even promises not to get mad if the color schemes aren't quite right, because she'll just fix it all when she gets there.
Simple as that.
And while he's taking care of the house, the next thing she wants him to do is find Jacob. Wherever he is. Because she expects him to be at the dinner table sharing a meal with them for her first night in their new home.
And in return for doing all of that, she'll handle everything else with BiBi, KitCat, RoRo, and A.J. and all of their precious grandbabies. She swears that she will make sure that every single little detail is taken care of, and when it's all done...
She'll come find him. And when she does, they'll share a dance in their kitchen to the tune of their favorite song - At Last by Etta James. Baby Girl goes on to assure him that it will be the first of many.
Some time later that night, her sweet Andy Bear takes her up on her offer. But not before opening his eyes one last time to see her sleeping in the chair at his bedside. Now that makes him crack a smile.
Because in the last dream he had he could've sworn he told her fine ass to get to bed. A real bed. Not a chair.
His sweet, beautiful girl never fucking listens.
Reader knows when he leaves. She later describes it to their children as feeling his lips brush her skin, right behind her ear. His favorite place to kiss her.
She and the kids keep the actual ceremony small, but then they throw a party - a celebration of Andy's life. And after that, Reader spends the next two years making sure everything is in order.
Just like she promised.
Andy comes to her in her dreams every now and again. And in those dreams he always looks like he did when they first met - her handsome man.
And when it's finally her time, Reader passes on surrounded by their babies. But she tells them not to worry, because their father has been sitting by her bedside for the last few days. She knows they can't see him...
But she swears he's right there. And he's brought along Jacob. She tells her sweet babies that she's finally ready to join the love of her life. They even share a little laugh when she tells them how their father keeps pestering her all because she owes him a dance.
And when she takes her last breath, the sweet sound of Etta James is playing softly in the background. Bianca and her siblings sit there quietly for a few minutes after her passing holding hands and reveling in the fact that they know their Mama went home.
She's finally back in the arms of the man that she loves. They have no doubt that their Mama and Daddy are finally sharing that dance. And wouldn't you know it...
Somewhere in the great beyond, they were right. Their Mama made it home at last. And she left the light on for them too. Just like she told them she would.

The Green Light: Teaser
Tumblr media
Summary: Teaser. Andy is over the moon when you finally get the green light to be intimate again after the birth of your babies. But how do you explain to him that you're not quite comfortable with your post-pregnancy body just yet?
Warnings: Smut, Husband Andy Barber, Daddy Kink, Insecure Reader, Post-Pregnancy Body, Discussions of Intimacy, Cursing, Minors DNI
A/N: Full story coming soon! Prompt courtesy of an anonymous reader. Part of my ongoing Growing Pains Series. Warnings subject to change. All mistakes are my own. Please let me know your thoughts!

You wait to check your phone until after your appointment is over and you're safely back in your car.
2 Missed Calls - Andy Bear
3 New Texts - Andy Bear
Andy Bear: Hey, baby girl. How’d the appointment go? Did we get the all clear?
Andy Bear: Can you answer your phone, please? I want to hear your sweet voice when you tell me the good news.
Andy Bear: C'mon! You’ve got me dancing on pins and needles right now. Call me.
You shake your head and then dial your man. He answers on the second ring.
“There you are, sweetness! I was starting to get worried there for a moment.” The genuine concern in his voice has you playfully rolling your eyes.
“Relax, Andy. Sometimes these appointments can take a while. It doesn’t mean anything is wrong, Dr. Wilson is just being thorough.” You check your appearance in the rearview mirror, noting that the bags under your eyes seem to look better than they have in days. “That’s part of the reason he’s been my OBGYN for so long, because he’s good at what he does.”
“Yeah, yeah, I know. He’s great.” You know he's not being dismissive on purpose, it’s just that he’s chomping at the bit to hear one key piece of information. “How’s your little body? Did we get the green light?”
Ahh, and there it was. Sometimes Andrew Barber was like a dog with a fucking bone. And only your husband would refer to your body as being “little” when you were still walking around sporting maternity wear.
“I’ve been cleared for all physical activity. Which means I can finally start working out again and –”
“Fuck, yeah we did!” He cheers into the receiver, loud enough to make you wince. “Alright, baby girl, that settles it. BiBi and KitCat are going to my sister’s for a sleepover and the twins will stay at grandma’s. Meanwhile, I’m gonna leave the office early to pick us up some dinner. How about we celebrate with some surf and turf?”
“Oh my god, Andrew! We are not leaving our two newborns at your mother’s house for the night. That’s too much!”
“What if she already said yes?” You have no doubt that your unrepentant husband is smiling hard enough to crack a tooth right about now.
“You didn’t.” Your head drops to the steering wheel with a light thunk.
“Oh, I did.” The sound of an eager chuckle spills across the other line. “Ma and Bill are happy to keep Rory and Junior. She said you left them with enough formula and diapers to get ‘em through and that she, and I quote, would be positively heartbroken if you deprived her of time with her precious new grandchildren.”
“Andy…I don’t know…” As tempting as the thought of a night of uninterrupted slumber was, you were on the fence about being away from your precious babies for that long.
RoRo needed to be rocked to sleep, while A.J. needed you to pat his little tush and bounce him just so. And they both needed approximately 1,375 kisses every five minutes, otherwise they got fussy.
“You must really want a good night’s sleep, huh, Big Man?”
“Baby, when I get my hands on you, I promise that sleeping will be the last thing on both of our minds. Now, I’ve gotta run. But I’ll see you home around 4:00pm.”
“Andy…”
How did you tell your husband that you weren’t really feeling your post-pregnancy body right now? You’d even taken to changing in the bathroom lately. Thankfully he hadn’t seemed to notice that increasingly bad habit of yours…
At least not yet. But it was only a matter of time.
“Hush, sweetness. You just let Daddy take care of everything, okay? I’ve been dreaming of this day for almost two months now, and I plan to take my time loving all over every inch of your delectable body. And what’s more, you’re going to let me.” You can practically feel your nipples pebbling beneath the fabric of your shirt.
God, how did he always manage to sound so sexy when he was telling you what to do? Handsome ass buttface!
“I’ve gotta head into this meeting, but in the meantime, get some rest. You’re gonna need it.”
“Yeah, okay, sure.” You respond with a resigned sigh. “I…I guess I’ll see you when you get home then.”
“Damn right. Can’t wait to lose myself between those luscious thighs.” Andy rasps with a slightly roughened edge to his tone. “It’s been way too long since I’ve had a taste…”
Oh good God…and it had been way too long since you had to deal with beard burn. At this point, you’d almost forgotten about what it felt like.
“Bye, Andy Bear.”
"Goodbye, little love.”

Andy lets out a sigh of relief when he hears the door shut behind him with a soft click.
Home.
After four long, sleepless nights, he was finally home. If he was honest, being without his girls for that long had been akin to torture.
While his colleagues had thought he was nuts for being so concerned about you and the babies, he hadn't cared. They couldn't possibly begin to understand just how much he needed you with him.
All they saw was Andrew Barber, the District Attorney for the city of Boston. But what they didn’t know was that, once you got past the damn title, he was just a man who desperately missed sleeping next to his wife.
He needed to hold you in his arms and listen to your soft, breathy sighs. He wanted to relax with you as you sweetly stroked your fingers across his chest, deftly tracing the patterns of his many tattoos.
But duty called. Sometimes being in a position of power and influence meant that you had to do things you really didn’t want to do - like leave his girls behind on a business trip.
And being hundreds of miles away also meant that he’d had to go without seeing his precious Bianca Bibbity. God, how he missed tucking his little girl in bed for the night. Somehow, reading her Goodnight Moon over FaceTime just wasn't the same. Especially when she would crinkle her little nose and offer up her chubby cheek for a super special “night-night kissy” when it was finally time for her to go to sleep.
Just two nights ago, his BiBi had cried, her adorable hazel eyes welling up with tears when she’d tried (and failed) to kiss him through the phone.
It damn near broke his heart. He’d been this close to booking a flight back to Boston, but you’d stopped him. You, ever the voice of reason, had lovingly reminded him that you all only had to get through one more day.
Just one more lousy good-for-nothing day.
And, like the hopelessly doting husband and father he was, he’d clung to that. Just one more day and then he could come home - to his house, his family, and his bed.
Andy scrubs a tired hand across his face as he carefully toes off his shoes. He’d leave his luggage downstairs for now so that he wouldn’t risk waking anyone - especially BiBi. And then he eagerly makes his way up the stairs.
He was a man on a mission. And despite the late hour, he was anxious to see his girls.
Once Andy reaches the top, he makes a quiet beeline for his baby’s room. Pushing on the partially opened door, he’s momentarily surprised to find her little bed empty. And then it dawns on him that she had to be with you.
Spinning around, he now heads straight for your shared bedroom. Seconds later, a soft smile spreads across his features when he finally lays eyes on you.
All three of you.
There you were, safe and sound - happily nestled together amidst a sea of tangled sheets and blankets.
Just like he knew you would be.
You, curled on your side, with your arms wrapped loosely around their daughter. BiBi with her bonnet-covered curls laying tucked against your chest. And Katrina, his little Sweet Pea, resting comfortably in the security of her Mama’s womb.
Andy closes his eyes as a much-needed wave of peace washes over him. In a few hours, he’d take you all out for breakfast, then for ice cream, to the bookstore, and wherever the hell else you wanted to go. Or, you all could simply stay inside all day and watch movies together in the den for hours on end.
He didn't much care, so long as you all were together.
Leaning over his side of the bed, he gingerly plucks a sleeping Bianca from your arms. Holding her close, he presses a kiss to the top of her hair, before readjusting her little pink bonnet. He smiles once more when her sleepy eyes slowly flutter open.
“Daddy!” She whisper yells, waking you up. “Hi, Daddy!”
“Hi, my Bianca Boo.” He plants a sweet kiss on the tip of her nose. “I missed you.”
“Miss you too.” She tells him as she snuggles deeper into him, her tiny voice coming out muffled. "Lots."
“Hi, Andy Bear.” You murmur as you sit up in bed, excited to see your man after these last few days apart. “I missed you.” Your hand goes to rest on the rounded swell of your belly. “We all did.”
Your man nods, his big hand rubbing circles across your daughter’s back. “No more business trips.” He mumbles as he takes to rocking Bianca back and forth in his arms.
“No mo’ bimus twips.” She agrees as sleep begins to overtake her once more. “Wuvs you.”
“I love you too. I’ll be right back, Y/N.” Andy tells you as he gently totes your now sleeping toddler out of the room and down the hall to her own bed. Stretching your arms overhead, you lay back against the sheets and wait for him to return.
You really had missed your Andy Bear. He wasn’t the only one who struggled with sleeping apart. You were entirely too dependent on the man with whom you shared your bed. And you truly did not give a fuck.
It’s not long before he comes striding back into your bedroom. You watch through lidded eyes as he slowly shuts the door behind him before resting his big body against the cool surface.
“Hi, baby girl.” He purrs softly, drinking in every inch of your sexily rumpled form.
“Hi, Daddy.” Not wanting to be without him for even a second longer, you reach out your hand, wiggling your fingers as an invitation. “I’m so happy you’re back. Now, c'mere.”
“You have no idea just how much I’ve missed you, little love.” He responds, his gravelly voice caught somewhere between a purr and a growl. You watch as he begins closing the distance between you, his gorgeous blue eyes shining in the moonlight as he goes to remove his navy blue polo shirt. Once it’s gone, he finally comes to rest beside you on the bed.
You let out a tiny giggle as Andy all but drags you against his muscled chest, his thick arms coming to wrap themselves around your swollen middle. He then goes to remove your scarf, burying his face in your curls and inhaling your scent
He could never seem to get over how sweet you always smelled.
Deciding you needed more, you gently tip your head back. Taking the hint, your Big Man leans in to capture your lips in a heated kiss. A groan escapes him as you cup his face in your small hands, your thumbs affectionately stroking over the scruff of his neatly-trimmed beard.
The two of you lay there like that for a while, your limbs intertwined as your tongues dance together, dueling lazily. Even after all this time, you still somehow managed to get lost in one another…
Almost as if you’d only just met.
Eventually, your mutual need for air forces you to pull away.
“Welcome home, Big Man.” You murmur as you work to throw one short, lightly toned leg across his hips. “I can’t wait to hear all about your tip to D.C.” Feeling a little drunk on love, one of your hands sinks its way into his tawny locks, your fingers tenderly scratching at his scalp just the way he likes.
“And I can’t wait to hear all about what I missed back home. Apparently BiBi has - what did she say?” He squeezes one eye shut as he racks his brain for her exact phrasing. “Oh yeah. She told me before I put her down that she’s 'gots dinosaur feets'. Whatever that means.”
You chuckle while clumsily trying to draw the blankets up around you both, which proves to be rather difficult since your husband is sitting on top of them.
“She grew.” You tell him with a lighthearted shrug. “She sprouted up a couple of inches when we weren't looking, plus her feet grew just a teensy bit too. So, we went out and got more shoes. And now she’s been stomping around smashing legos and claiming she’s got dinosaur feet.”
“But why –?” Andy begins, clearly both amused and confused by his little one’s newest antics.
“Just go with it.” You lovingly boop his nose. “Oh, and she roars too. Birds find it very intimidating."
Which was good. Because those winged beasts scared you to no end.
“Wow.” He mumbles as he lightly tugs on a strand of your hair. “You know, come to think of it, I think all my girls grew.” Your husband angles himself so that he can rest a hand on your stomach.
“Daddy’s back, Sweet Pea.” You can literally feel your heart swell as he gently cradles your belly as he talks to your unborn baby. “I can’t wait to hear all about your little adventures too. I bet you’ve got lots to tell me.”
Not even a moment later, you quickly grab his hand and reposition it so that he can feel her moving.
“Someone’s awake.” You grin up at him, happy beyond words that your little family was back together again under one roof.
“I see that.” His face sports a matching grin, which only gets bigger when he feels your baby kick yet again. “Daddy’s sorry, love bug. Go on back to sleep, okay? We’ll talk more in the morning.”
What’s funny is that BiBi had been like this in utero too. She had almost always responded to the sound of Andy’s voice, just like her little sister was doing now.
Overcome with adoration for your man, you bring his hand to your mouth to brush a kiss over his knuckles
“You tired, baby girl?” He asks you, the rough timbre of his voice sending tingles coursing through your body. “Need me to let you rest?”
“No.” You whisper with a shake of your head, softly grinding your core against his thigh. “I need something…more…”
“Mmm.” He groans as he skillfully switches positions so that you’re both resting on your sides. “You need me, huh?”
“Uh huh.” You nod as one of your hands slowly disappears beneath the fabric of your Minnie Mouse sleep shorts. His eyes never leave yours as you dip your eager fingers between your soaked folds before holding them up between you. “See?”
Growling low and deep in his throat, Andy greedily sucks the glistening digits into his mouth.
God, how he loved your taste. You were easily his favorite fucking meal.
“Make love to me, Daddy.” You lovingly purr up at him when he finally releases your fingers with a soft pop. “I missed you too much to wait any longer.” You bat your lashes up at him, before turning over on your back and spreading your thighs, allowing him to catch a glimpse of your bare pussy.
“Is this my welcome home gift, sweet girl?” His voice gruff as he makes quick work of relieving you of your shorts. “Your letting me use your beautiful little body the way I need?”
“Hell yes.” You growl as you drag him down for yet another bone melting kiss. “Now hurry up and get moving. I’ve missed having you inside me.” You can’t help the giggle that escapes when you issue the playful command. Especially after you also slap his ass for good measure.
“Who’s in charge here?” Your Big Man grunts as he hurriedly removes his pants before tossing them in the direction of the hamper.
He misses. Of course.
“Me.” You respond, feeling ever so bold as your fingers once against find their way between your thighs to toy with your aching clit. You tease the swollen nub, enjoying the way your husband’s eyes darken with each passing second.
“Wrong.” Andy hisses before gripping your hips and tugging you towards him as he works to get comfortable on the bed. “This little pussy is all mine, sweetness.”
“Then prove it.” You whimper out as his bearded jaw nuzzles your most intimate flesh. "Might need you to jog my memory."
Yeah, you were playing a dangerous game, but you were beyond caring.
“Gladly.” He snarls softly as he lowers himself on top of you. "Here comes your reminder."

Daddy, Don't Be A Hero
Tumblr media
Summary: When Andy puts himself at risk during an incident at the courthouse, everyone celebrates him as a hero. But what happens when he goes home to face his angry wife and daughters, each of whom is determined to give him a piece of their mind? Andy Barber x Black!Reader, BiBi Barber, KitCat Barber, RoRo Barber, A.J. Barber
Warnings: Slight Angst, Fluff, Dramatic Barber Girls, Exasperated Andy, Slightly Scared Andy, Scared A.J., Angry Reader, Minors DNI.
A/N: Written for @lexivass - I know you probably pictured the kids being a little bit younger, but aging them this way seemed to read better. I hope you still enjoy it. Part of my Growing Pains Series. Semi-proofread, not beta’d. All mistakes are my own. Thanks for reading everyone. As always, feedback is appreciated and encouraged.
___
“Look, ladies, it’s really not that big of a deal.” Andy mumbles as he stares down his very beautiful and very angry wife, along with his three daughters, Bianca, Katrina, and Rory.
“Dad, you fought a gunman! Do you hear me? A gunman! As in, a man with a gun.” Each word is peppered by a clap of her hands. “This is not some small thing, this is not - oh my god. Oh, my god, I can’t even breathe through my face right now.” Hands on her hips she begins to pace the length of the kitchen muttering to herself.
“Bianca Boo -”
She throws up a hand. “Please do not “Bianca Boo” me. I’m trying to slow down my heart rate, okay? You’ve got my blood pressure runnin’ all kinds of high.”
Andy looks over at his wife who is currently leaning against the sink, her face unreadable. “Y/N, baby, the gun wasn’t even loaded.”
“BUT YOU DIDN’T KNOW THAT THEN!” All three of his daughters screech at the same time, making him jump.
“What - what were you thinking?” Katrina interjects. “That’s what I want to know. I think we all want to know. You have four kids, Dad. Four! One, two, three, four!” She points at each of his kids, and then herself. “I am in the middle of writing my college admittance essays. Do you really want me to be the girl who sends in a paper titled Hey! Let Me Tell You About the Day My Dad Died When He Didn’t Have To?!”
“No, I don’t, KitCat. I would never want that for you.” Her tired father responds with a sigh. “But guess what? Since I’m sitting right here, you don’t have to write that essay.”
What in the world ever possessed him to have three daughters? And where was his son? He needed back-up!
“You sure? Hmm?” She asks, her fingers going to pinch the bridge of her nose. “I could even add tear stains to the envelopes for added effect…”
“Okay, sweetheart, Daddy gets it.”
“Do you, Dad? Do you?” KitCat hisses at him through narrowed eyes. “Almost left us fatherless.” She mumbles, shaking her head. “Our poor Mama would’ve been a widow.” His seventeen-year-old keeps going as she turns and strides out the sliding door and into the backyard.
“Jesus Christ.” Andy groans as he buries his head in his hands. “Alright, everyone, I get your point. I put myself in a potentially dangerous situation and -” He is once again interrupted by Katrina, who comes waltzing back in the house just as quickly as she left.
“It’s hot out there. I don’t do well in heat waves.” Katrina growls. “And I’m mad that our father almost made that one,” she points at A.J. who’s looming in a corner, “the man of the house. We would’ve been doomed!”
“Hey!” Her fourteen-year-old brother yells. “That’s not fair! I can be trusted to spend Dad’s life insurance money responsibly. I’d take care of Mom, while graciously allowing the three of you to live out back.”
“And since you’ve drawn me into the conversation, let me say that I, for one, think what Dad did was really brave.” A.J. goes to rest his cast-covered wrist on his father’s shoulder.
“Thank you, son.” Andy mutters. When this was over, he was gonna go out and buy his boy a car.
“And, if you all take a moment to stop shrieking and calm down, you’ll agree with me. We should be celebrating this man, not berating him for his act of…of heroism…” He trails off when his mother and his sisters all turn their angry gazes on him.
“Be quiet before I fracture your other wrist.” Katrina grunts.
He nods once before slowly removing his arm from his father’s shoulder. “But then again, what do I know? I’ve only been around a few short years.” Palms up, he begins to back away.
“Really, Junior? You’re just gonna hang me out to dry like that?” Andy asks, a look of betrayal etched onto his features. And there goes your car, kid.
“Sorry, Dad. But there’s more of them than there are of us.” He whispers. All four women watch as he quietly takes a seat at the table. “Live today, fight tomorrow. Just like in The Mummy.” He mumbles to himself, quoting he and his mother’s favorite movie. “Plus, I need my good wrist.”
Andy shakes his head and rolls his eyes.
Where was the loyalty that was supposed to exist between father and son?
“Daddy…” His little RoRo says softly as she walks around the kitchen island to wrap her arms around him. Surprised by the gesture, he gratefully returns the hug.
“Thank you, sweetheart.” He says when she pulls away.
“There’s no easy way to say this, but you’re old.” His wife lets out a snort before quickly covering her mouth with her hand.
“I am not.” Andy growls as he looks down at his body. Yeah, he was in his fifties and he was sporting a little more gray in his hair and in his beard, but he was still in good shape. He worked out every day, curled weights, occasionally bench pressed his wife…
“You are. And I get you want to be the hero, but you can’t do this type of stuff. If you wanna be a hero, then you can start by killing the spider that’s been living in mine and Katrina’s bathroom for the last month.”
“Oh, are you talking about Bertil?” BiBi interrupts. “He’s still there? Huh. Yeah, sissy. It’s time for him to die. See Dad, that’s the perfect job for you. Nice and safe.”
“Yup.” RoRo agrees. “Why don’t you do what other old Dads do? Like, go around the house trying to fix stuff that doesn’t need to be fixed so you have an excuse to go on an adventure to Home Depot? Doesn’t that sound nice?” She asks as she rubs his arm.
“I still have a job, kiddo. You and your siblings like to eat, don’t you?”
“But that’s what weekends are for! Trips to Home Depot and Lowes, and wherever else you can go to look at knobs and pipes and wooden things. You wanna live dangerously? Wear sandals with socks while you do it. No need to wrestle potentially armed crazy people. Bottom line, Daddy, I can’t go through this again.” She pats his shoulder and walks away, fanning herself as she does. “I’m not meant for this life.”
“Okay, kids. I think Daddy’s got it. Thank you. You can go now.” You tell them. Although, you can’t help but smile as you watch each of your four children hug and kiss your husband before disappearing.
You and Andy simply stare at each other for a moment.
“How ya doin’, Big Man?” You ask, finally breaking the silence.
“Do you realize that I just spent the last thirty-seven minutes getting yelled at by three younger versions of you?”
“Mmhm.” You nod. “I didn’t have to say a thing because they said it for me. It was almost magical.”
“Not from where I was sitting.” He grunts. “From my position it was downright unsettling. They even scared Junior.”
“Good. Our girls aren’t to be trifled with. I hope you see that now. Because you scared us today.”
“I know.” He opens his arms, and you can’t help but rush towards him. “I know I scared you all. You have my word that I won’t do it again, okay?”
“Okay.” You murmur as you press a sweet kiss to your man’s lips. “Okay.”
Andy finally allows himself to breathe a sigh of relief, only to hiss in pain when his wife flicks him hard in the ear..
“Ow! What the -?”
“That’s for making my blood pressure run high all goddamn day, you buttface!” You growl as you walk away, feeling like you can finally breathe again.

A Peek Inside Casa Barber
Tumblr media
Take a tumblr-style-tour of the Barber Family Home. Requested by the lovely @stonerlaur4.
Tumblr media
Introducing Casa Barber. Reader fell in love with it the moment she saw it.
Tumblr media
Next up is the living room, which is mostly used for entertaining guests. They try to keep this room off-limits to the kids. But it doesn't always work.
Tumblr media
Here is the the den, which is used for enjoying Saturday morning cartoons and quiet, lazy Sundays.
Tumblr media
And now, here is a look at Reader's dream kitchen. She helped design the layout herself. The kids also sometimes use the space to do homework while Mama is busy preparing dinner.
Tumblr media
Next is the dining room, which is perfect for family meals.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
On the left is Reader's custom reading nook. Andy had this built for her as a surprise since she gave up her home office to make room for the twins' nursery.
And on the right is the kids' reading nook. At this point, they have their own little library.
Tumblr media
Here we have a peek at the kids' playroom. Reader and Andy designed it together with their babies in mind.
Tumblr media
Next, we have Andy's home office. In addition to legal files and notes, Reader's special punishment journal is also kept in there as well. Most of their discussions atake place in here too. It's virtually soundproof compared to some of the other rooms in the house.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here is Reader and Andy's bedroom (left), and their gorgeous master bathroom (right).
The bathroom is complete with a vanity, a shower, an oversized jacuzzi-style tub, plus his and her sinks.
Tumblr media
Andrew Jacob's and Aurora's (RoRo) nursery, which used to be Reader's home office. Once the twins are a little older, this becomes A.J.'s room.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
On the left is A.J.'s "big boy" room. He loves holding important meetings with Daddy in his tent.
And then, on the right, is a peek at Katrina (KitCat) and RoRo's room.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now, we've got Bianca's (BiBi) room (left). Our sweet BiBi chose the colors herself and loves drawing pictures at her little desk.
And on the right is a small peek at one of the kids' shared bathrooms.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now, we head to the basement. Once used for entertaining, this main space (left) is now used primarily for Barber Family movie nights.
And on the right, we have Andy's home gym. Sometimes little A.J. works out with him as well - usually on Saturday mornings. He's determined to get those "musicles", just like his Daddy.
Tumblr media
And finally, here is a look at Andy and Reader's guestroom. Grandma is the one that usually uses it the most.
---
Thanks for joining me for this impromptu tour. I hope you enjoyed your look at the Barber Family home as I see it!

Ok..so We know about Andy’s rules for Cookie jars right😂
So i imagine one day the girls are having cookies in their lunch at school …and one of their friend asked for one and they denied coz they are not allowed to give (maybe they are still in kindergarten at this point where they still didn’t know what that metaphor meant )
And after they come home…in evening..they are having dinner and one of girls say “Someone asked for our cookies at lunch daddy…but we didn’t gibe them coz you said no giving cookies to anyone”of course she is talking about the snack but Andy is positively wheezing at this point😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
For @elle14-blog1
Tumblr media
The Cookie Jar Jam
"Katrina, honey, why did I just find a bag of Oreos in your jacket pocket?" You hold it out, gently shaking its contents. "Why didn't you eat them at lunch?"
KitCat looks up from the book she's been reading to her Daddy. This had become her thing lately, insisting on reading Andy a bedtime story so he had "da bestest, sweetest dreams".
Her words exactly.
"I thought you liked those cookies, Sweet Pea." Your husband asks as he smooths a few stray copper-colored curls away from her forehead.
"I do, doh." Your baby girl mutters as she quietly closes her book about Spot's adventure to the circus. "But sumfin' happened tuhday so me and Sissy had to hide 'em."
KitCat heaves a dramatic sigh before falling backwards into the safety of her father's arms.
"What?" You ask, concern etched across your features. "What do you mean?"
Andy nods, shifting his daughter so that she can look up at him. "Why did you think you had to hide your cookies, baby?" He keeps his tone calm and even as he lightly strokes her back, but there's no mistaking the tension in his broad shoulders.
"I tol' her tah hide 'em cuz Ricky Martinez and his dumb brother kept askin' for 'em." Another voice chimes in from the direction of the stairs.
You watch in confusion as BiBi makes her way down the steps, adjusting her pink bonnet as she goes.
She brushes past you to go stand in front of Andy, her arms crossed over her chest as indignation radiates from her tiny body.
"Daddy. Dey are boys. And you say we no give boys our cookies. Dey kept askin' KitCat, so we put 'em up."
Not this whole cookie jar bullshit again. You think you yourself as you bury your face in your hands to muffle the groan that escapes your lips.
"Yep." KitCat chimes in, delicately pulling on Andy's shirt. "Dey no gettin' our cookie jars. I punch 'em first."
"Dat's right, Sissy. We did good, right Daddy?"
"Thank you, Lord." Andy murmurs as he beams down at them, feelings of fatherly pride emanating from every pore. "That's right, my incredibly beautiful, smart, and shrewd little daisies. I've never been more proud."
Your fingers go to your temples as you try to delicately massage your headache away.
"Andrew." You growl. "Can I see you in the kitchen, please?"
"Sure thing, baby girl." Standing, he swoops up your babies, holding one in each arm.
"I meant alone." Your hand goes to rub your slightly rounded belly. Lord give me strength...
"Eh, no can do. This proud dad moment calls for a celebration! Who wants ice cream?"
"Me!" BiBi and KitCat shout before high-fiving each other.
"No! We're already fifteen minutes past bedtime and --" You stop when you see they're not listening. "Three children. I am literally living in a house with three children." You grumble under your breath as your excited little family strides past you.
"Okay, but Mama would like to remind everyone in this house that sharing is caring!" You say as you follow them into the kitchen.
"Not when it comes to cookie jars!" Your man calls back. "We're keeping those on lock."
"Good to know, Andy Bear." You watch as your husband begins pulling out the fixings for hot fudge sundae. "Because after all this foolishness, this Barber babe just threw away her key."
"Huh!?" Andy's head whips around to look at you with his gorgeous blue eyes.
"I said what I said." You shrug. "Enjoy your ice cream everyone!"

Room For One More
Tumblr media
Summary: Is there room for one more in the Barber Family household? Someone is convinced there is... Andy Barber x Black!Reader
Warnings: Discussions of Pregnancy, Attentive Andy, Frustrated Andy, Frustrated Reader, Cursing, Minors DNI
A/N: Prompt courtesy of an anonymous reader. Part of my Growing Pains Series. Please let me know what you think. Not beta'd. All mistakes are my own.
___
Andrew bounces on his heels in the drug store aisle as he scans the items on the shelves. For the life of him, he couldn’t remember which ones his wife had brought home last time.
Shit! Why were there so many options? Accura Health, First Response, Clear Blue Digital…Jesus!
“Eh, fuck it.” He grumbles as he tosses three different brands into his shopping basket. His wife was pregnant with their fifth child – he was almost sure of it. But just to be certain, he was taking the liberty of picking up a few tests.
All the signs had been there – the nausea, the moodswings. Not to mention the fact that she’d completely missed her cycle last month. And the cravings! Just the other day he’d found her dunking cold cucumbers in microwaved zesty italian dressing, like she had with Katrina.
But what had really solidified it was when he’d walked into the den after putting the kids down to see her enjoying toast slathered in butter, topped with nutella, marshmallow fluff, and sliced bananas. Her favorite food while she was carrying the twins. And no, his sweet girl had not been willing to share. Not that he’d wanted a bite anyway.
Feeling excited, Andy makes his way to the self-checkout lane. He was a little late for dinner, but since he had a box of desserts safely tucked away in the backseat of his Lexus, he wasn’t too concerned.
___
Twenty minutes later…
Leaving the back of pregnancy tests in the car, Andy quickly grabs the cookies and jogs into the house. He missed his wife and kids. His little family had turned him all kinds of soft, and he did not give a shit.
“Hello Barber family!” He calls out as he waltzes through the door. “Daddy’s home and he’s brought treats!” Andy doesn’t even bother fighting the grin that spreads over his features when he hears his children’s excited squeals coming from down the hall.
“Ah, ah! Finish your dinner, please. RoRo, sit down, honey. Daddy will be in here in a moment. KitCat, are you done eating? No? Then please plant your tushy back in that chair.Thank you.”
Box of desserts in hand, Andy pauses at the kitchen entryway. He watches his lovely wife as she flits around the table cutting up meat and encouraging Junior to try whatever vegetable she cooked that night. His children, ever a lively bunch, are busy talking and making eachother laugh in between bites of food. And then his eyes stray to an empty seat.
Yes, God willing, there was room for one more.
“You planning on joining us, Big Man? Or are you just gonna stand there?” You ask when you spy your husband’s lurking form. Happy to see him, you wander over to brush a soft kiss against his lips. “You handsome ass creeper.”
You smile and snag the box from him, anxious to see what he’s brought home for you and your little monsters.
Ooh, cookies!
“Alright my beautiful Barber babies, how about you tell Daddy all about your day while I make him something to eat, hm?” You watch as Andy takes a seat at the table, only to stifle a giggle when all four of your kiddos launch into an animated conversation all at once.
“Woah. Woah! One at a time, guys and gals. Let’s start with A.J., then Rory, then KitCat, and then we’ll finish up with BiBi. Take it away, Junior.”
Turning back to the task at hand, you go about fixing something for the both of you. Knowing that he would want everything, you load the plates with pan fried turkey chops smothered in sauteed onions and mushrooms along with a homemade gravy. Then you add a helping of buttered noodles and garlic butter asparagus tips.
While you’re busy, you hear your husband moving around behind you, setting empty dishes in the sink and rummaging around the cupboards for paper plates so that he can begin serving dessert.
“Let’s see what Daddy’s got for everyone, shall we?” He says as he begins handing out treats. “I’ve got a sea salt chocolate chip for Baroness Bianca Bibbity, a sugar cookie with rainbow sprinkles for Lady Katrina, an iced lemon butter for Princess RoRo, and finally…a red velvet for Sir A.J. Plus two triple chocolate fudge delights for Mama and me.” Your man tosses a sweet wink your way.
A chorus of “thank yous” fills the room as the kids begin devouring their respective sweets.
“Andy Bear, you wanna eat now or…?”
“Depends, sweet girl. Will I be dining alone or can I expect some company if I wait?”
“Hmm…I suppose I could make myself available after we get these snickerdoodles into bed.” You tell him as you go to wrap your arms around his trim waist, taking a moment to inhale his cologne, mixed with the scent of his aftershave.
“Well then, let’s get this show on the road. Now, who needs more milk?”
___
Forty-five minutes later…
With all four tiny heads in bed, you and Andy traipse back down to the kitchen to finally enjoy your own dinner. As you begin heating everything up, you notice that he heads back out to the garage, only to reemerge a few moments later holding a bag from the local drugstore.
“Whatcha got in there?” You ask as he goes to sit it on the counter before joining you at the table.
“How about we talk about it while we eat, hm?”
“Oookay.” Is all you say as you set down both plates, along with two glasses of raspberry flavored sparkling water.
“Holy shit.” He mumbles once he finally gets a good look at his meal. “This looks incredible, baby girl…” Andy moans softly as he bites into a tender piece of turkey.
“Glad you like it. You wanna take leftovers for lunch?”
Your husband’s eyes go big. “There’s extra?”
“Yep.” Your eyes dart over to the pan resting on the stove. “I only want one, so I’ll pack up the other two for you.” You let out a small shriek when he proceeds to grab the back of your chair and drag it closer to his own.
“I fucking love you, Y/N. And speaking of love…” Andy gets up to retrieve the mystery bag from its place on the counter. You watch as he pulls out three different boxes of…
Pregnancy tests?
“Um, honey?”
“Sorry, but I couldn’t remember which brand you preferred so…” He shrugs.
Setting down your knife and fork, you pick up a box and turn it over in your hands. “I’m afraid you’ve lost me, Andy Bear.”
“I think you ought to take a couple of those tonight.”
You stare at the man as if he’s lost his marbles. “Andy, baby, I’m not pregnant.”
“But I think you might be, Y/N.” He sits down next to you and opens a different box, pulling out a test. “I’ve been paying attention. You skipped your period last month, and then there’s the mood swings –”
“What mood swings? When?” You turn to glare at him. You didn’t have mood swings, damn it. People just liked to test your patience these days – the PTA, soccer moms, long lines at the grocery store, etc. “I don’t have mood swings, Andrew.” You finish with a growl.
“Uh huh. And what about the cucumbers with warm Italian dressing, or the toast with the nutella and marshmallow fluff?”
Jesus, your husband really had been paying attention to you!
“Dunno. They just sounded good at the time.” And they very had been. Shaking your head, you go back to enjoying your meal . “Plus, I’m on the pill. And my cycle has always been a little wonky on account of my PCOS. Sweetie, you know this.”
You hated to bust his bubble like this, you really did.
Undeterred, Andy continues to make his case. “You were on the pill with Bianca.”
“True, but I was also taking a series of antibiotics around that same time too. It most likely cancelled out the birth control.” You pop a couple more bites of food into your mouth before moving your hand to rest atop his larger one.
“And with Katrina?”
“I didn’t always take it consistently back then. And before you bring up the twins, I’d like to point out that we were actively trying for one baby and ended up walking out of the hospital with two.”
Andy rolls his eyes. “Okay, I get it. But how ‘bout you just do me a kindness and take a couple anyway, huh? I’ll wait outside the door.”
Exasperated, your fingers go to pinch the bridge of your nose. “Andrew, for the last time, I don’t need to take a test because I’m not pregnant. Now can we please just move on already?”
Good God, sometimes this man could be so frustrating!
He rakes a hand through his hair. “For fucks sake, Y/N…baby…can you just go try for me? Please?”
“I don’t have to pee right now.” You mutter, picking up your glass and plate which you then place in the sink.
“Then chug a glass of water and wait ten minutes!” Andy snaps before he can catch himself.
“Would you like me to wrap up your dinner or do you want to heat it up again?” Let it go, Andrew.
“Why are you being so stubborn about this?” He growls.
“I could ask you the same damned thing.” You snipe back under your breath. “Okay, look. If I take a test - just one - will you leave it alone?”
Andy opens another box before handing over two different tests. “Take both of these and I’ll shut up.” He tells you as he wraps one solid arm around your small waist so that he can lead you to the bathroom down the hall.
Once you reach your destination, you don’t even bother trying to shut the door. After almost fifteen years together your man had seen it all, and so had you. Plus, Andrew Barber also liked to throw tantrums whenever he encountered you and locked doors.
“Do you have to look right at me, you annoying ass ogre?” You grumble as you go to pee on the first stick before placing it on a folded piece of tissue.
“Y/N, can you honestly tell me that you don’t want one more? I mean, you can’t deny the fact that we make some beautiful babies.”
Instead of responding, you deposit a second test next to the first and then conclude your business. You then pull up your pants and wash your hands.
“Our babies are the most gorgeous little creatures to have ever walked the earth. But…”
“But what?”
You simply shake your head and then grab his wrist to check his watch for the time.
“But what, Y/N?” A mildly frustrated Andy asks again. “Finish what you were going to say.”
“Time’s up.” You announce, both of you leaning forward to look at the results…
One line. You weren’t pregnant.
“Oh, thank God.” You murmur as you breathe out a sigh of relief.
“Seriously?” Your unhappy husband grunts. He picks up one of the sticks to examine it more closely. “I was so sure. Maybe we should try one from the other box.”
Okay, it was time to put your Big Man out of his well-meaning misery.
“Andy Bear.” You reach up to grab his face. “Let me say that I appreciate just how attentive you are with me and the kids, like, all of the time. You’re amazing, honey. But I’m not pregnant. And I’m okay with that.”
“But we can keep trying and –”
“I’m not necessarily closing the door on the idea of having another, but I also kind of think that my body is done.” You allow your thumbs to gently massage the bearded apples of his cheeks. “It feels to me like our little family is complete.” Your arms move to wrap themselves around his neck. “Doesn’t your heart feel full, my love? I mean, our four Barber babies pack quite the punch.”
Andy lets out a resigned sigh, feeling defeated. “So baby number five is out, huh?” The look on his face is enough to break your heart.
“How about we bookmark this chapter and agree to revisit it later. If it happens, it happens. But keep in mind that I’m also pushing thirty-eight. And right now, I think it might be best if we focus on the munchkins that we have.”
A glimmer of hope sparks behind your husband’s eyes.
“So there’s still a chance…?”
“There’s always a chance. And please believe me when I say that I am always down for practicing. Wouldn’t want your moves getting rusty, Mr. Barber. You might pull something.” You throw a saucy wink his way.
“Watch it, you little brat.” Andy growls playfully. “I’m this close to dragging you into my study and knocking you up right now.” His lips leave a trail of kisses along the column of your throat.
“I love you, Andy.” You whisper as his mouth takes in a searing kiss. “Always and forever.”
“I love you too, baby girl. Forever and always.”

Previously in The Announcement…
“No, no, Y/N.” Your handsome husband stops you. “They’re making some valid points. Can I just tell you both that you have made Daddy so happy right now? Because you’re right. Boys are completely, totally, and unequivocally gross.”
You turn to stare at your man, who’s eyes have since glossed over with…was that joy?
“Which is exactly why you don’t ever need to date. Because these gross boys are only ever after one thing.” See, it was times like these when you worried about Andrew Barber.
“What thing?”
“Yeah! Whaa’ fing?”
Andy looks at you and then coughs into his big fist. “They, uh, um. All boys, um.” He coughs again. “They all want access to the cookie jar.”
Both your girls appear confused.
“But we no have cookie jars, Daddy.” Bianca informs him.
“Good.” He growls before turning to look at you. “Please do everything in your power to ensure that it stays that way.

Later that night…
“I still can’t believe he said that to them.” You mumble under your breath as you begin to tie up your hair for the night. “What the hell was that man thinking?”
“What was who thinking?” The subject of your ire asks as he strolls into your bedroom.
“You.”
“Me?”
“Yes, Andrew, you.”
Confused, he comes up behind you to wrap his arms around your waist. “What I’d do now, baby girl?”
“You, husband, told our two daughters that all boys are gross and only after their…their cookie jars.” You turn to face him. “Now, what do you have to say for yourself?”
“What?” Andy simply shrugs his broad shoulders. “I told them the truth – that boys are nothing but trouble and that they should stay away from them.” He offers you an unapologetic smile. “Forever.”
Pulling away, you roll your eyes so hard that you almost lose them in the back of your head.
“Come on, Y/N. Who better to warn them about the dangers of boys than me? Afterall, it’s my job to protect my Bianca Boo and KitCat from unnecessary threats.”
“You do realize that you are a boy, right?” Sometimes you really did worry about your husband and his overprotectiveness, especially when it came to you and the girls. Andy takes off his shirt and tosses it in the direction of the hamper. He misses, of course.
“So? That just makes me an expert in all cookie-related matters. These grubby little delinquents –”
“Honey, please remember that we’re talking about little children. Like five years of age and younger, okay?” Your fingers go to pinch the bridge of your nose.
God, grant me the patience.
“Fine. Whatever. But I’m telling you, these prepubescent hoodlums want what they want when they want it. Today it’s juice boxes and animal crackers, but tomorrow it could be some slap and tickle. Mark my words.”
What? Who the hell says slap and tickle these days?
“So, since you’re suddenly willing to spill all of the tea I guess that kind of makes you the exception here, huh?” You scoff as you go to pick up the discarded garment.
“Yep.” Your man scrubs a big hand over his beard before traipsing into the bathroom to brush his teeth. “It sure does, Y/N. Because, I wanted all of you from the moment I first laid eyes on you. I was after the whole package, baby girl. Not just your cookie. Or should I call it your honeypot?”
You stare at his shirtless, sculpted body as he takes care of his business at the sink.
“My honeypot?” Your hands go to your hips. “Please tell me you haven’t been –”
“Reading up on my competition, Jamie Fraser? You’re damned right I have. All your lusting after a fictional highlander has me ready to invest in a fucking kilt and set of bagpipes to keep you interested.” He wipes his mouth with a towel and winks at you.
“You planning to dye your hair and speak with a Scottish accent too while you’re at it, sweetheart?”
Jesus, you needed to find your dog-eared copies of Outlander and Dragonfly in Amber and hide them from your man.
“Aye, my bonnie wee lass.” He replies, tossing you another wink.
You sigh before sitting off the bed and toeing off your slippers. “As sexy as you sound, my love, we need to be preparing ourselves and the kids for the possibility that we might be bringing home a baby boy, or two."
“Or, fate is going to punish me by giving me more girls, ensuring that I never get a good night’s sleep ever again.”
“Oh my God, Andrew.” You fall backwards onto the covers. “And why exactly won’t you be sleeping?”
“Because all of my girls are beautiful. Bianca and Katrina are sure to be knockouts, just like their Mama.” His big body is suddenly looming over your own. “And none of them will be allowed to date until well after they’re married and – you know what? Scratch that. I’m sticking with the whole convent idea.”
And now your man is on top of you, his soft lips claiming yours. His tongue sweeps into your mouth, tempting and teasing as he does. Groaning, he pulls away and rolls both of your bodies so that you’re now resting atop his brawny chest.
Fuck, your man always smelled so good. Like cedar and bergamot and something else altogether uniquely Andy.
“But once again, I would like to remind you that we could also be saddled with a pair of boys, you ridiculous man. And if that happens, I’m going to be stuck fending off throngs of rabid girls, but you don’t see me worrying.” Yet. “I’m not walking around mentally wringing my hands.” Yet.
“Your point?”
“My point, Andy Bear, is that you are an overprotective ogre." Sitting up, you move to straddle his hips, taking a moment to grind your bare pussy against his rapidly hardening length. “Which means it’s up to your dutiful wife to calm your anxious mind.”
Gripping his wrists, you tug them up over his head and instruct him to take hold of the headboard.
“Let go and I stop.” You slide even farther down his body before dipping one small hand into his shorts to free his thick cock from his boxers. Flashing him a wicked grin, you begin working him up and down, making sure to pay special attention to his glistening mushroom head. You watch  him throw his head back against the pillows as you use your thumb to tease his crown. God, how you loved the sight and feel of his impressive body tensing beneath your own.
“Is that helping, Big Man? Are you starting to loosen up a bit?” You ask him as you whip your lavender nightie over your head, leaving your bouncing breasts bare to his deep blue gaze.
“Uh huh.” He growls as he watches you lewdly lick your palm before continuing to pump him up and down, using your saliva mixed with his precum as a natural lube.
“Need you to cum for me at least twice baby. Once on my tits, and then again in my tight little cunt.” Your free hand goes to toy with his heavy sac, gently squeezing and kneading as you do.”
“That’s right, Big Man. You’re gonna cum all over my fucking chest before you fill me up. Want you to mark me good, just like you did here.” You take a moment to rest your left hand on the gentle swell of your abdomen.
Andy’s eyes stray to your newly pregnant belly, his cock visibly twitching as he does. Your man loved you in all ways all of the time, but when you were pregnant…
Good luck keeping his hands off of you.
Of its own volition, your hand lightly smacks him in the face. “Hey, my tits are up here, sugar. Now if you want this wet ass pussy, you had better do as your told and –”
You let out a whine when a frustrated Andy lets go of the headboard and flips your bodies so that you’re once again trapped underneath him.
“No fair!” You pout. “I wasn’t done being in charge yet.”
“Quiet." He grunts, as he fists his dick and begins jerking himself off. You can tell he’s close. “I’m going to give you want you want little girl, right, ungh, fucking, shit, NOW!” Andy roars as he cums, painting your throat and chest with thick ropes of warm cum.
Breathing heavily, Andy leans down to kiss you, only to pause when he feels your hand wrap itself around his spent member once again.
“You interrupted my fun, Daddy. So I’m going to give you five minutes to recover before you make it up to me.”
“Whatever you want, baby girl.” He tells you as he begins to massage his seed into your heated flesh. “Whatever you want.”

Kiss & Make Up
Tumblr media
Summary: Bianca finds out that her friend’s parents are getting a divorce. Could her own be next? Andy Barber x Black!Reader, Bianca Barber
Warnings: Fluff, Concerned Bianca, Mentions of Arguing, Smut (implied), Minors DNI
A/N: Please enjoy and let me know what you think. Part of my Growing Pains Series. Not beta’d. Semi-proofread. All mistakes are my own. Thanks for reading.
___
“Busy day tomorrow?” You ask your husband as you climb into bed. As usual, you were wearing a pair of sleep shorts and one of his t-shirts.
“Actually, I think it’s gonna be a pretty light day.” He responds as he continues to iron his light blue dress shirt. “You wanna do lunch, baby girl?”
“Dunno.” You pretend to think as you swipe through your phone. “I’m going to have to check with my assistant, maybe move some things around on my calendar.” You hear Andy chuckle. “Ugh. I’d hate to have to reschedule laundry, but I think you're worth it.
“Well, thank you for clearing your calendar for me. I’ve never felt more loved.” You let out a snort when he rolls his eyes.
“You’re welcome, Andy Bear.” You chirp as you snuggle under the blankets. “Where do you wanna go? Also, hurry up so you can come snuggle with me. It’s hard to keep warm in such a big, empty bed.” You give your Big Man your best pout.
He just smiles and shakes his head. “One more shirt, little love, and then I’m all yours. And how do you feel about burgers? There’s this new place about fifteen minutes from the office that’s supposed to have a killer bison burger and -”
“Mama? Daddy?” Whispers a little voice. Sitting up, you spy your oldest baby, Bianca, hovering just outside your door.
“It’s late, honey. What’s wrong? Why aren’t you in bed?” You turn and check the clock which reads 11:03pm.
“I need to talk to you.” She looks down at her bare feet. “Please.”
“Okay, come on in, Bianca Boo.” Andy replies, setting down the iron.
“Come sit up here with me and talk to us.” You tell her as you pat a spot next to you on the bed. Letting out a soft sigh, she does just that as your husband walks over to join you both. “What’s going on?”
“It’s just that, um…” She wipes at her eyes with the back of her hand. “Daddy…are you and Mama gettin’ a divorce?”
Huh? Say what?
“A divorce?” You and Andy repeat at the same time.
“Of course not, baby.” Your husband murmurs, clearly just as shocked as you are by her question. “We’re never getting a divorce. Not now, not ever.”
Wrapping your arms around her tiny waist, you lovingly pull her into your lap. “Why would you think we were getting a divorce, BiBi?” You rest your head atop her bonnet covered curls.
“Because Carly Mason’s parents are getting a divorce and she was crying about it at lunch today. She has to move and everything, and even go to a new school and stuff.”
“Oh, baby, I’m so sorry. But I’m sure you’ll still be able to see her outside of school.”
“It’s not that. It’s more like, um, she told me her parents used to argue a lot. And you and Daddy were arguing the other day about groceries and the credit cards and you slammed the door super hard when you went outside and Daddy slammed the door super hard when he went into his office and -”
“Okay, okay.” You gently cut her off, knowing that your sweet girl had a tendency to ramble when she was upset or nervous, just like you. Your eyes stray towards Andy as you try to figure out how to continue.
He lets out a sigh as he attempts to collect his thoughts before speaking. “First of all, BiBi, your Mama and I are sorry that you saw us arguing like that.”
“Yes, we are.” You agree. “I think that Daddy and I both were just having a rough day.”
“Uh huh. Your Mom sent me to the grocery store with a list, and somehow I still forgot to get a bunch of things. Although, if I may, I’d like to blame A.J. and KitCat for that fiasco, because they kept making me laugh.” Andy playfully waggles his eyebrows at his little girl. “Which is why the three of us aren’t allowed to go shopping together anymore.”
“They sure aren’t. And Mama forgot to pay a bill. See, I thought I had it set to auto-pay, but I completely forgot that I received a new debit card in the mail and hadn’t added it to the account yet. So we had to pay a late fee. But it’s all fixed now.” You flash them both a smile.
“Oh, okay.”
“But we shouldn’t have gone around slamming doors like that. I mean, it’s only natural that parents argue sometimes, but that wasn’t very nice of us. Especially not in front of you guys.”
“No, it wasn’t.” Andy murmurs. “Which is why we apologized to one another as soon as we calmed down. We’ll try to do better sweetheart, but I can’t promise you that your mother and I will always agree on everything.” He presses a kiss to one of her small hands.
You begin lightly rocking your baby back and forth. “Daddy’s right, but what we can promise you is that we’ll always kiss and make up.”
“Oh, gross!” She grunts as she scrunches up her little face. “No kissing. And no divorce. I don’t wanna move.”
“You got it, kid. Anything else you wanna talk to me and Mama about?” Andy asks.
“Nope.”
“Alright, well, we love you. Now, give us both a hug and get your tush back in bed.”
___
Ten minutes later…
Crisis averted, Andy quickly goes back to ironing.
“Um, by the way, I believe you were the one who decided that divorce wasn’t an option. I don’t recall having any say in the matter.” You inform him, cocking your head to the side.
“I’d like to think that I made the decision for both of us.” Comes his gruff response as he attempts to smooth out a particularly stubborn wrinkle. “Why? You suddenly feel like angling for one?”
You allow yourself to fall backwards into bed. “Eh, not sure.” You sigh. “It’s gonna depend on how good that bison burger is tomorrow. If it sucks, I might serve you papers right then and there.”
“So, you’re telling me that our entire marriage, our beyond epic love story, currently hinges upon whether or not you like what you have for lunch tomorrow?”
“Yep.”
“Well, shit. Maybe I’d be better off taking you out to Miyoko’s for sushi.” Your husband mumbles, making you giggle. “Can’t go wrong with that one.”
“Nah, you’ve got my heart set on that damned burger. And it had better be good or it’s the end of the line for you, Mr. Barber. Now hurry up and come cuddle with me. If I have to tell you again, I’m afraid I might have to rough you up.” You aggressively flex your little biceps for added emphasis.
Andy lets out a low whistle as he hangs up his last shirt and unplugs the iron.
“I’m all done, sweetheart. But if you still feel like you need to get rough with me…” You watch as your man slowly peels the t-shirt from his delicious body before climbing across the bed to loom over your smaller frame.
“Then who am I to stop you?” He asks before nipping your chin. “Hurt me good, baby.”

The Best Surprise: A Growing Pains Drabble
Tumblr media
Summary: Andy and baby A.J. have their first of many important conversations. Takes place directly after the events in Hello Word: The Barber Twins. Andy Barber x Black!Reader, A.J. Barber
Warnings: Fluff, Tears, Andy Barber, Discussions of Fatherhood, Cursing, Minors DNI
A/N: Written for @elle14-blog1. Hope you enjoy. All feedback is sincerely appreciated, so please let me know your thoughts. Part of my ongoing Growing Pains Series. Thanks for reading!
___
You sit there and look at your twins in their little incubators. They were small, but thankfully not too small. They should maybe be able to go home in a couple of weeks.
“Are you sure about the name?” Andy asks you. “I mean, are you sure, sure?”
“I am. This little man needs one. And I loved the one we picked.”
“You picked it.”
“But you said yes. If you’re not okay, that’s alright, but tell me now.” You tell him as you stroke his jaw.
“I’m okay with it. I love the name. And I love them. And I love BiBi and KitCat. And, most of fucking all, I love you.” Andy presses a kiss to your hand.
___
The day before…
Andy stares down at the infant in his arms, his body overcome with a myriad of emotions.
He had a son. Another boy. One his wife had suggested they name Andrew, after himself. An honor he wasn't sure he deserved. And then Jacob, after the brother he would never get to meet.
Andrew Jacob, otherwise known as A.J.
“Hey, buddy.” He whispers as the baby begins to squirm in his arms as he works to raise a tiny fist to his mouth. “Hi, my sweet boy.”
There were so many ways that Andy had tried to be different since the birth of Bianca. His first with his wife, Y/N. There was so much he’d changed about the way he thought, acted, and even parented.
Because while the man exuded confidence, the thought of ever having another child had terrified him in ways beyond explanation.
And now he had been blessed with four more, Andrew Barber’s heart would forever live outside of his body.
Fate had seen to that.
The same cruel mistress that had once threatened to destroy his very soul had gifted him with a series of second chances that he knew he did not deserve.
First with his wife. His soulmate.
Then with Bianca and Katrina.
And now, with the arrival of Aurora and A.J.
Andrew blinks back tears as his son opens his gorgeous hazel eyes. He was barely a day old, but he could already sense their bond. Sure, it was new. But damn if it wasn’t strong.
People often liked to tease him about how protective he was over his wife and children. But most of them didn’t know what it was like to grapple with that kind of devastating loss, and he hoped to God they never would.
His little family was his to cherish. His to protect.
And he would, until his dying day.
“Welcome to the world, my son. I want you to know that you, young man, are hands down the best surprise that I have ever received.” A tear escapes, trailing its way down his cheek. “There’s so much I need to tell you, so much I want to show you –”
Andy pauses when hears your sleeping form stir in the hospital bed next to his chair. God, how he couldn’t wait to get you home with him and the girls. Words could not express just how much he hated sleeping without you. Once he sees that you’re settled comfortably again, he turns his attention back to his boy.
“You see that beautiful woman over there? Yeah, her. That’s your Mama. She’s the reason you’re here. I mean, I’d like to think I helped a little, although she tends to disagree. But as long as we both know the truth, that’s what matters. Now, where were we..?” Now fully awake, A.J. offers his daddy a sweet smile.
“I promise you that I’ll get to all the good stuff. We’ve got time, little guy. But before you fall asleep again, Daddy wants you to know that I will always protect you. And one day when you’re older, I’ll talk to you about your big brother, Jacob. Something tells me he’s looking out for you too.” A tiny hand wraps itself around Andy’s index finger.
“I love you more than life, buddy. You and your sisters…you all make me want to be a better man. For you, for them, for your mother.”
Andy leans down to gently kiss his baby’s fist.
“I will do everything in my power to be the father that you deserve. You have my word on that. You hear me?”
A.J. gurgles sweetly in response.
“Okay. Are you hungry, buddy? Should I wake Mama - no? Well then, since it’s just you and I, let me tell you about your big sisters, BiBi and KitCat. And before you ask, no we won’t let either of them put you outside…”
___
You smile to yourself as you hear your husband discuss the girls with your son. Your Andy Bear was the best man you knew, and one of hell of a father. And just like him, you would do everything in your power to protect your babies.
Because you and your little family deserved all the happiness this world could give.

Daddy Lessons: Andy & KitCat
Tumblr media
Summary: KitCat has a secret she's been keeping from her father. How will he react when she finally shares her truth? Andy Barber x Black!Reader, Katrina Barber
Warnings: Coming Out, Discussions of Sexuality, Fluff, Girl!Dad Andy, Cursing, Minors DNI
A/N: Please let me know what you think of this latest installment. All feedback is welcome. Part of my Growing Pains Series. Thanks for reading!
___
Andy and his baby girl, Katrina, are out and about enjoying an ice cream date at one of their favorite parks when the conversation begins...
“Look, I know you’re all psyched to be leaving for college at the end of this summer, and while I’m going to miss you –”
“Oh, my God, Dad.” Katrina giggles. “I’ll only be, like, an hour away. Plus, Bianca will be there, so there’s really no need to worry.”
“I know, I know.” At least his two oldest girls would have each other, even if it was only for a year. Thank the Lord for small favors. “But it’s my job to worry about you. That’s what we Dads do. It’s in the handbook and everything.”
Katrina lets out an amused sigh, having grown accustomed to her father’s dramatics over the years. He always meant well, even if he was a little overbearing at times.
“And as your father it’s also my civic duty to warn you about these devious creatures otherwise known as the opposite sex, or college boys as you call them.” He bristles, giving her a pointed look. “You need to avoid them at all costs.”
“Dad! Seriously?”
“I’m dead serious. Those body spray wearing delinquents have no morals, zero scruples, and are going to do everything in their power to try to convince you otherwise. Fucking pencil-stached miscreants.”
“Wow.” Is all she can muster. “Just wow, Dad.”
“Yep. And those boys –” Andy continues.
“Or girls.” Katrina interjects softly.
“Right. They’ll try and – wait. Wait. What?” He watches in confusion as his precious Katrina looks away from him. Her hazel eyes brimming with unshushed tears.
“I just meant, like, girls as in maybe. I dunno.” She sniffles, wiping her nose on her sleeve. “Or it could totally be a boy. But preferably one who actually understands the merits of showering.” She tries to hide her nervousness with a laugh, only for the sound to get stuck in her throat.
“Okay.” Andy murmurs, nodding his head. “Okay.”
“Mama said, cuz’ she knows, that it’s, um, okay not to know. Or to maybe like both. No matter what, she’s already promised to protect whoever I bring home to dinner.” His little girl tells him, all the while still refusing to look him in the eyes.
Heaving out a soft sigh, Andy picks up their half-eaten bowls of ice cream and tosses them both into a nearby garbage bin. He then grabs a handful of napkins before heading back over to where his daughter is sitting.
“Alright, kiddo.” He tells her, handing over the slightly crumpled tissues. “Let’s take a walk.”
“Daddy…wait.” Katrina mumbles, dabbing her eyes.
“What, KitCat?” Andy squats down next to her. “Are you gonna ask me what I think you’re about to ask me? Because, if so, you already know the answer, honey.” He playfully tugs on one of her golden brown curls, prompting another sniffle. “You’re about to ask me if I still love you. Right?”
Two tears spill over onto her cheeks as she nods. “Do you?” She asks, her little shoulders beginning to shake.
Out of instinct, his big, warm hands move to delicately cup her face. Using his thumbs to brush away a fresh set of hot tears, he finally gets Katrina to look his way.
“Of course I love you. I always have, and I always will. Consider that Daddy Lesson number one. You can’t shake me, kiddo. Do you understand me, Katrina Claire Barber?”
Instead of responding, his second oldest, his cheeky little bookworm, his aspiring journalist, simply throws her arms around his neck, squeezing tightly. Smiling, Andy gently rubs her back.
In his mind, this was what being a father was all about. Loving your children for who they were.
“You’re okay, KitCat. You’re okay. Your Mama and I just want you to be happy. That’s all. And if you remember nothing else, always remember that my love for you is unconditional. I’m proud of the young woman you’re becoming. You're a force to be reckoned with - in fact, all my girls are. All thanks to your mother.”
“Okay, Daddy.” Another sniffle.
Katrina pulls away to offer him a watery grin of her own.
“There’s that beautiful smile I love so much. Now, come on. What say you and I head on over to Eddie’s for a couple of double bacon cheeseburgers?” Andy helps his daughter to her feet before slinging a protective arm around her shoulders.
“With extra bacon and cheese fries?” She asks, lightly bouncing on her toes.
“Sure thing, Sweet Pea.”
___
“Daddy?” Katrina chimes a few moments later.
“Yes?”
“I love you too.”
“I know. But you’re still not allowed to date until you're married.”
“Oh, come on!” She rolls her eyes as they cross the street. “Not this again.”
“Yep. That’s Daddy lesson number two, for ya. We fathers don’t make the rules, we just enforce ‘em. It’s a hard knock life.”
“I’m telling Mom, you know.”
“Go for it. She’s not allowed to date either and she’s already married.” He jokes, earning him yet another groan.
Ahh, the benefits of fatherhood.

Hey Brit hey! Happy Fourth of July ❤️ are Andy Bear and Baby Girl watching fireworks with their babies? Or perhaps at a lakeside cabin with their grandma, and cousins?
Tumblr media
Hi darling! Andy and Baby Girl took the kids downtown for a fun-filled evening of Fourth of July festivities, starting with a delicious early dinner at Back Deck. Then the Barbers met up with Grandma and Bill over at The Esplanade to watch the Boston Pops perform, followed by a spectacular fireworks show.
Oddly enough, three-year-old RoRo managed to fall asleep on Grandma's lap right before the fireworks began and somehow managed to sleep through the first half. Meanwhile, KitCat and A.J. took in the show sitting on Andy and Bill's respective shoulders, which left BiBi to snuggle up with her Mama.
All in all, our favorite little family had a great time enjoying the music, food, and fun that can only be found on the Fourth of July.
Thanks for the ask and I hope you had a Happy Fourth as well!
