I had the pleasure of chatting with @theatlantic CEO @nxthompson and AI legend, Mustafa Suleyman, about the importance of having diverse perspectives and lived experiences to help inform how we are building this new world of technology. Working directly with our scholars at @kodewithklossy has certainly shaped my understanding of how this next generation is utilizing tools to solve the problems they’re most passionate about — including accessible mental health resources. It’s a shared responsibility that we all hold to ensure that AI models are created to represent the full spectrum of human experience. Thank you for having me @theatlantic it was an absolute honor ❤️

Meeting new scholars and catching up with alumni (who are getting PHDs in Comp Sci at WashU and working in cybersecurity at a major tech company in STL !!! ) was a very meaningful reminder of just how much our scholars are doing to BE the change they want to see in their communities, in the tech industry and in the WORLD at large! ❤️ I couldn't be more proud of our community and our team, none of this would be possible without the tireless dedication to this work on behalf of our Teachers, Instructor Assistants, Interns, location hosts scholars/alumni and their AMAZING parents/loved ones, and of course our brilliant KWK team ❤️ Cheers to our 9th summer of KWK camps! ✨ (...big bday next year!! ;) 💓”

It’s the first day of the semester and I’m the only girl in my Artificial Intelligence’s Math class. Other girls wouldn’t want to take it too. This makes me so upset somehow. I just want a girl’s company. Especially in a class I found quite hardcore.
