not necessarily the proudest place of my island... as i don’t really have any xD my island is still a massive work in progress as i haven’t had much time to play recently and am still quite uncreative. however, i’ve had this spot next to nook’s cranny dedicated to dumping free gifts for trades for ages... but i was super inspired by @lopeared-isle‘s little post office and have started working on this spot that i’m really loving! i can also still put some gifts here and it totally makes sense, especially with the christmas theme my island has still!

day 5 - who’s your favourite special character? and if you could bring one from previous games, who would it be?

my picks have to be kicks and isabelle! i love kicks’ accent and charm, plus he is so adorable. i also just really love the service he provides compared to some of the other npcs - like an exclusive version of the able sisters! and isabelle... well need i say much? she is the goodest girl, and i feel i relate to her too much on caring about others and being overworked to the point i forget to care for myself... i also love dogs in general so :p

as for who i would want to bring back... well, i didn’t play any of the other games but the answer is obvious. it’s brewster. nintendo i’m begging you i just want to vibe in a cafe with my villagers i- art credit @sofalein ♡

happy new year - 2020 is finally over and it’s 2021 woooooooooooo this is the first outfit i put together in new horizons and it still takes up the first slot on my wand - the iconic georgie look! i have a yellow raincoat that has been a stable in my spring showers wardrobe for years in real life so you know i had to make it as soon as i got all the yellow rainwear... and have used it again and again since!

i did a literal slideshow through powerpoint... enjoy xD (i also left out roald cos he had only been on my island a few days and therefore i don’t known his hobbies and personality that well yet :P)

my faves! the bestest boys and girls! i love them so much aaaaaaaaaaaaa here’s my explanations why these guys are so great... roald: he’s not even been on the island a week, but he is already iconic. he’s been a long-time dreamy of mine, so i was so excited to welcome him. as he is so new, i haven’t seen that much of him, but he is so cute and hilarious at the same time... just so precious ♡ kevin: my day 1! i didn’t know of kevin before new horizons came out as i hadn’t seen him in pocket camp and he wasn’t popular... but i arguably he is severely underrated! his dialogue is so funny, he has acute design and the low-key ridiculous name tops it all of! tangy: a qween! if i could go back and edit my tier list i did for 100 followers knowing tangy was so amazing i would put her probably put her at the top. i swear she is just the embodiment of me - she’s a gamer girl and she is a literal orange (and the only thing i drink is orange juice!). she has a great, giddy personality too which always makes me smile :D

merry christmas eve and happy holidays everyone! over the next few week or so, i’m going to be taking a break from posting regularly with this little post challenge (i will probably still edit my small backlog of screenies as well as the ones i take on toy day!). i’m also using it as an excuse of a 200 followers gift as i wasn’t really sure what to do, but i hope it shows my appreciation for you all following me ♡

we’ve made it to the final day of komorebi’s 12 days of christmas! i really love this prompt and it’s kinda what inspired me to do the challenge in the first place - to go over all the most memorable parts of 9+ months in this amazing game that has kept me going through this year! the memory that came to mind immediately was the day i finished the main story of the game and hit 3 stars on my island! i played all day - until 12am the next to see the full moon in all its beauty, the only time i’ve stayed up that late playing this game! i just remember feeling really content and calm, even with all the craziness of 2020 going on in the background. that’s when i knew how much i how much i had fallen in love with the game and how much it would mean to me for a long time to come ♡

day 10 - is there any villager you badly want on your island? time to show them off!

considering i have got 1/3 of my dreamies on my island (roald) and have the amiibo for another (ketchup), i’ve got to talk about my man who’s been left out... punchy! i know punchy is a fan favourite but i actually got attached to him while playing my first animal crossing game, pocket camp. he was the first camper that i got a picture of and i found his dialogue really funny and cute. i will use all my nook miles tickets to find you one day, mrmpht! art credit @pupushu + @momo-art

i’ve had quite a few goofs on komorebi but this one is by far the most memorable and hilarious xD i got so many notes on this post so you guys most have found it funny too! i don’t know what happened or how to explain it, but please know that i have seen pascal since and he is fine!

happy new year’s eve! this is my front room - an open plan kitchen and living area! it’s obviously all decorated for christmas at the moment, but it’s cosy and homely. i really love exposed brick walls and wood flooring in real life, so it was a no brainer with the wall and floor decoration. i also have a handy spot to do some diy, and radio playing some festive tunes and a cute puppy plushie! can’t forget the baby yoda on the noticeboard all the way back in march when the game first came out xD
