I just randomly decided to check it out and I just love it!! Alfre Woodard (one of my favorite actors of all time) being in it is the cherry on top for me.  I *adore* some intriguing new world-building; the ability to internally interrogate the way things work just wakes up my imagination and this show has it in spades….((those ghost-girl(?) sequences are particularly beautifully done))  Love the commitment and diversity of the players… AND I’m enjoying the larger story-arc so far.  Not too light, nor too heavy, if you know what I mean?No multi-shipping angst/fighting YA lite stuff, nor the extra theorizing and trying to outsmart the show or see the “twist” coming of so many other properties.Just pure speculative fiction questing, built around an uncommonly explored condition in a way that makes it the default human setting…with that Steven Knight touch (if you’ve seen Spartacus, you know what I mean, blunt sexuality and blood, well-done fights and decent intrigue stakes).I have a thing about media that push neglected human empathy buttons, allowing the viewer to step into some different shoes and this does that.Hope it continues to get better.
