my favourite mature trope in fiction is when the man forces the woman he loves on bed not realizing that the woman loves him truly and wants him carnally too but not like this she needs to calm him down to avoid the misunderstanding yet the man is so distraught/heartbroken/terrified of losing her that he figures the only way to keep her is to have his way with her whether she likes it or not (when in reality she actually DOES like it she loves him) and the woman is trying to get her feelings for him across but hes too stubborn to listen and just forces her to submission and he realizes their feelings are mutual either during or after sex and nothing but intense regret looms on the man while the woman tries to finally talk to him eventho her body is trembling with desire right now but they need to fix the fear and misunderstanding that they will never happen when in fact they will
