LUMINARY EVENT #18: new years in the canadian rockies !

to ring in the new year, we’re headed to banff, alberta to spend a few days learning to ski and snowboard in beautiful banff national park at one of the worlds most well known ski resorts in the rocky mountains. all celebs are required to check into the banff fairmont springs hotel by 4 pm on thursday, december 28th. get checked in and settled into your suite on thursday and then have a laidback dinner and take a walk around the luxurious hotel or the surrounding parks and lake areas before our busy schedule starts bright and early the next morning. 

we’ll spend the next few days learning to ski or snowboard ( the choice is yours ), spending two full days on the slopes with group lessons taught each day by canada’s most well trained winter sports professionals. we’ll also spend some time relaxing and winding down from our skiing in the infamous hot springs, and will ring in the new year with a huge party just for us. 

make sure to bring your winter boots and jackets ! all skiing equipment will be provided for us, so if you don’t have skis or a snowboard don’t worry, you’ll have a rental to use. children of celebs who are 5 years of age and older are allowed to attend, however for their own safety, children under 5 are not permitted at this event.

ITINERARY :

dec. 28th, 4pm:

check into the hotel and do whatever you please for the rest of the night.

dec. 29th, 8:30am: 

meet in the dinner hall for breakfast.

dec. 29th, 9:30am - 10:30am:

everyone will take part in an hour long beginners ski/snowboard lesson. lessons will be taken in groups based on your suites, aka you’ll go to your lessons with your suite mates. if you already know how to ski or snowboard, you’ll still take part in these lessons ! it’ll give you a chance to practice before we go out on our own !

dec. 29th, 10:30am - 5pm: 

slope time ! spend as much time as you can skiing and snowboarding, you can have hot chocolate and lunch on the slopes at the small outdoor cafe near the ski lifts that way you don’t need to leave the slops for anything. 

dec. 29th, 6pm: 

meet in the dinner hall for a huge buffet style dinner

dec. 29th, 8pm: 

everyone will be meeting outside in the snowy courtyard for a huge bonfire. roast marshmallows and have hot chocolate ( or an alcoholic beverage ) while we sit around the fire ! everyone must stay at the bonfire for at least an hour to bond with their peers, after that it’s up to you when you want to retreat to your room for the night. 

dec. 30th, 8:30 am: 

meet in the dinner hall for breakfast.

dec. 30th, 9:30am - 10:30 am:

everyone will take part in an hour long intermediate ski/snowboard lesson. again, you’ll participate in the lessons in groups of the people you’re sharing a suite with. everyone must participate in lessons despite skill level.

dec 30th, 10:30am - 5pm:

day two of slope time !

december 30th, 6pm: 

meet in the dinner hall for another huge dinner !

december 30th, 7:30pm:

everyone will meet in the lobby ( bring your swimsuits ) and together we’ll go to the infamous hot springs. we’ll spend the evening relaxing in the warm water and soaking in the steam. we’ll have an open bar set up for those of us who want to drink. the hot springs are walking distance from the hotel, so you can walk back when the night is done. 

december 31st, 11am:

meet in the dinner hall for brunch.

december 31st, noon - 5pm:

spend the day exploring the beautiful town of banff, try some poutine or visit all of the shops on the towns main street before coming back to the hotel to get ready for the night. 

december 31st, 7pm:

meet in the lobby and a party bus will take us to one of banffs most beloved pubs which will be closed to the public for the night to host our new years eve party. as usual everything will be completely paid for by the company and we’ll be able to enjoy an open bar for the night. we’ll spend the night drinking, dancing, playing pool and other bar games, and ring in the new year together ! 

january 1st, 11am:

meet in the dinner hall for brunch

january 1st, 12:30pm: 

everyone will meet in the lobby and we’ll be taken on the columbia ice field tour, a full day tour from banff to the columbia icefield through the iceway parkway, named the greatest mountain drive in the world. we’ll get to see the mountains from a whole new angle, watch wildlife, stroll through lake louise and walk across the amazing glacier skywalk before returning back to the hotel.

january 1st, 6pm:

meet in the dinner hall for dinner and then spend the rest of the night doing whatever you please.

january 2nd, 11am:

check out of the hotel.

LUMINARY EVENT #17: luminary’s winter wonderland christmas ball !

for our christmas event, we’re going to be headed to new york city on december 15th where the museum of modern art will be transformed into a snowy fairytale just for the luminary celebs and their guests. we’ll arrive at the MoMA at 7pm after walking a white carpet, taking pictures with the christmas trees that have been placed along the way. once we’re inside, we’ll have a catered dinner in a grand dining room, elegantly decorated for our event and complete with an open bar. if you finish your dinner early, the museums exhibits will be opened for you to wander around and take in all of the beautiful art until at 9:30, the ball will start in another finely decorated area, like all of the snow balls you see on television, but more extravagant. start looking for your nicest evening gowns and tux’s, because there is a strict evening formal dress code.

LUMINARY EVENT #16: niykee’s red light district 23rd birthday party !

on saturday, december 2nd, we’re celebrating niykee’s 23rd birthday and bringing our bad intentions to deja vu gentlemans club in los angeles. we’ve rented out the entire club from 10 pm to 6 am for an exclusive vip night, and as per niykee’s request the only people allowed into the club that aren’t on the guestlist will be her fanclub members who’ve bought tickets to her birthday event. our luminary celebs will take over the six vip booths in the club with exclusive bottle service ( paid for by the company, of course ) and the best view of the goddesses that are entertaining us for the night. the club’s regular red velvet couches and disco balls will be present, but the decor will be stepped up a notch for our night to resemble that of a classic light red district club. there is a red light district dress code, you don’t necessarily need to show up in your lingerie ( although it is recommended by niykee herself ) but make sure you’re wearing your sexiest red and black number while you pose for the paparazzi outside and our luminary photographers inside. aside from the dancers and adult entertainment that you’ll usually find at this popular gentlemans club, you can expect short performances throughout the night from bebe rexha, halsey, harry styles, mgk, blackbear and the birthday girl.  the evening will be hosted by madelaine petsch and cathy kelley.

LUMINARY EVENT #12: a winter wonderland carnival !

our vancouver office celebs have helped plan a winter carnival where our celebs will be volunteering their time to work at the carnival stands while raising money for a special cause. 100% of proceeds from every single booth at the carnival will go to the north vancouver animal welfare centre and the money will be used to house homeless, abused, or abandoned animals during the terribly cold winter months. the carnival will take place in beautiful stanley park in vancouver, on november 18 and 19.

make sure you bring your winter coats and mittens, because it’s estimated to be a snowy weekend on canadas west coast. the carnival will have horse carriage rides, games, entertainment, an art exhibit, a local handmade goods market, an indoor expo centre, street performances, and food ( including some canadian favourites such as poutine and everything you could imagine made with maple ).

our celebs’ stay in vancouver will be payed for by the company, they’ll be arriving on the 17th and staying until the 20th, we suggest checking out granville street or english bay during your stay and taking advantage of your time in the beautiful rainy city.

LUMINARY EVENT #15: tyler’s dodgeball tournament birthday party !

on friday, december 1st, we’re headed to columbus ohio to celebrate tyler joseph’s 29th birthday. at 7pm we’ll meet at the skyzone trampoline park that’s been rented out entirely for us. we’ll be divided into teams, and play dodgeball while bouncing until a tournament winner has been awarded. we’ll have cake and snacks and at 9 pm the lights will go down and the music will go up and we’ll spend the rest of the evening trying not to break any limbs while we act like children and bounce until we can’t anymore.

LUMINARY EVENT #13: an enchanted backyard baby shower !

halsey, the queen of throwing themed parties is hosting this enchanted forest themed baby shower for kata & g-eazy in preparation for the arrival of their daughter. on sunday, november 26th, at 1pm, join us at kata and g-eazy’s calabasas home for a magical afternoon under twinkling lights. 

the afternoon will include a catered lunch, hot chocolate ( opt to have yours spiked with baileys or rum for some extra warmth ), desserts, games, roasting s’mores around the fire, and gifts. 

gifts for the parents to be are acceptable, but kata has asked that an account be opened at the downtown women’s shelter in los angeles where you can opt to make a donation in her name instead of buying a gift, to help homeless mothers and their children get through the winter.

LUMINARY EVENT #14: thanksgiving in new york city !

on thursday, november 23rd at 7 am, the famous macy’s day parade will be taking place in new york city and luminary’s own bebe rexha will be performing at the parade. our celebs will be attending the parade from 7 am to 10 am. enjoy a cup of hot chocolate while you watch the floats and entertainment. 

at noon, a bus will be waiting to drive everyone from the parade to staten island, where bebe and her family have rented out their favorite restaurant. enjoy cocktails an appetizers and mingle with your fellow luminary celebs before we’ll have an extravagant thanksgiving dinner at 3 pm. 

this event is semi-mandatory. if your character is not from america and does not celebrate american thanksgiving with their family, they are required to attend. they are also required to attend if they don’t have family to have thanksgiving dinner with. basically, it is mandatory for anyone who doesn’t have thanksgiving plans with their family. this is also optional for anyone who wants to come, and everyone is welcome to bring their family and friends along. if you are attending this event, please message your rep ( luminaryrep on gh ) to let them know so they can put you on the guestlist.

LUMINARY EVENT #11: luminary’s halloween haunter !

we couldn’t think of a better place to hold luminary’s halloween festival than in one of the most haunted cities in america. on october 26th, the celebs will arrive at the marshall house hotel in savannah, georgia. the hotel is said to hold the spirits of patience that died at the hotel that used to be where the hotel now is. the entire hotel will be rented out to us, and we’ll be staying there until check out at 11 am on november 1st.

during our stay, we’ll be taking part in luminary’s halloween haunter festival. a three day music festival taking place from october 27-29. the festival grounds will be turned into the biggest halloween themed party imaginable, with actors dressed up to scare festival go-ers all weekend long while they watch their favorite artists perform. each day of the festival will have a different costume theme, meaning we’ll all need a different costume for each day of the festival that fits that days theme.

take a day to relax and explore this eerie city on october 30th, or put some last minute touches on your last costume because on october 31st the entire lobby, restaurant and bar of the hotel will be transformed into a huge halloween ball for luminary celebs, and their friends and family. this will be a huge party, planned by luminary relations and funded by the city of savannah as a thank you for all of the attention our halloween haunter festival brought to the city. the bar, food, and drinks, will all be paid for, much like our stay in the hotel will have been. there is no costume theme for the party, so dress in whatever costume you please. the party will start at 8 pm, and there will be a costume contest at 11 pm where prizes will be given to winners in different categories.

LUMINARY EVENT #10: a night out in nyc for derek’s 25th birthday !

what better place to party until morning than in the city that never sleeps? to celebrate derek’s 25th birthday, the company and his band have collaborated to plan a night of partying at one the best club in brooklyn. output in brooklyn is on the top ten list of best nightclubs in new york city, it’s always packed from wall to wall, and has music bumping all night, with an adjoining “panther room” for a more quiet atmosphere, as well as a rooftop to cool down from all the dancing and watch the view.

the boys of state champs have rented out the club portion of the venue for the night. to get to the club, party attendee’s must board a party bus, but upon entering the bus, you must take one (1) shot of either tequlia, jack, or jameson to enter. it’s up to everyone else whether they want to drink for the remainder of the night, if you plan on drinking and having a good time, it is recommended that you book a room at one of the nearby hotels. the party bus will be picking up attendee’s in front of the brooklyn museum at 7:30 pm, and the bus should arrive at the club by 8:15 when the party will actually start.

since it’s october and we’re all so excited for halloween, the band and the company has opted to make this a costume party. costumes are not mandatory for attendees, but they are recommended and prizes will be given to the celebs with the best ones.

LUMINARY EVENT #7: 808s plus the mixtapes !

the third event in luminary press’ series of playlist based events, is all about hip hop. on october 7th, luminary relations will take over sound nightclub in los angeles for a night full all of our favourite old school hio hop classics, as well as the best new bangers. it’s only right that the night is hosted by youtube’s favourite past cover star, who got her big break posting covers of rap songs, niykee heaton. niykee will also play a cover set of her most popular rap covers and more, and the night will also feature dj sets from candice lerae, bill skarsgard, madelaine petsch, tom holland, and one of luminary’s very own hip hop artist, g eazy.

the fourth event in luminary press’ series of playlist based events, is all about r&b. on october 12th, luminary relations will take over the playhouse in hollywood to blast out some of your favorite smooth r&b songs, new and old. let down your hair and grab a partner before you give kudos to your host of the night for this event, bella hadid. miss bella will have the honor of mixing the best classic and modern r&b songs that will have everyone feeling themselves, with half off priced drinks at the bar starting at 10 PM, it’s a win win ! the night will feature dj sets from five handpicked luminary celebs, and a cover set by zayn malik !

LUMINARY EVENT #3: tatums disney birthday bash !

luminary relations has decided to make us all feel like a kid again for the day and is sending us to disney for tatums birthday party. a party bus will pick everyone up at noon on friday, september 15th, and take us to anaheim to spend the day at disneyland. the company has paid for our tickets and will be keeping us fed for the day. spend the day exploring all disney has to offer, riding rides, playing games, meeting your favorite characters. at 5:00 pm, the bus will take us back to downtown los angeles where we’ll go our separate ways.

you’ll have a few hours to wind down from the excitement of disneyland, take a shower, and change into something a bit more fancy before the night starts at 9 pm. we’ll be spending the night at the trendy downtown nightclub the reserve. make sure to show up in style because the paparazzi is sure to be outside trying to get a shot of our top luminary celebs. once we’re there, we’ll spend the night dancing, drinking, and celebrating. niykee heaton will be preforming a set at 10:30, and the rest of the nights music will be courtesy of one of los angeles’ hottest dj’s.

the fifth event in luminary press’ series of playlist based events, is all about sad songs. on friday, october 13th, luminary relations will take over webster hall in new york city for a night full all of songs we love to torture ourselves with, sing sadly in the shower, you get the drill. the honor of bringing the house down ( in the most depressing way ) is the king of sad songs himself, john o’callaghan. the night will consist of cover sets by our host himself, as well as tyler joseph, amber bain, derek discanio, dave escamilla and bebe rexha.

LUMINARY EVENT #5: luminary’s emo night !

to kick off the beginning of luminary press’ series of playlist based events, is possibly the most cliche, but what is sure to be the most popular of the events -- a good old fashion night of tears, beers and the emo ballads that got us all through high school. emo night has become so popular that cities all over north america and europe are having their own emo nights, but something that we have that no other emo night has ever had, and that is sure to make luminary’s emo night the most memorable one yet, is the father of present day emo, frontman of not only the biggest band in the world, but also writer of some of the most emo songs known to man: tyler joseph. on september 30th, at the marquee in new york city, tyler will be the host of our very own emo night, and will be djing the event between sets from other luminary celebs. ryan ross, luke holland, and katabasis king will all be djing a playlist of their favourite emo hits, and tyler joseph and dave escamilla will be playing acoustic cover sets of their emo favourites.

LUMINARY EVENT #6: other people’s love songs !

the second event in luminary press’ series of playlist based events, is all about love songs. it’s almost impossible to turn on the radio or walk through the mall without hearing a song about love, romance, sex, or relationships playing. whether your playlist is full of love songs that remind you of somebody specifically, or it’s a series of songs that make you wish you had a relationship like the ones the songs make you envision, we all have a bunch of other people’s love songs that keep us up at night when we’re longing for someone or help us pass the time until we have that someone closer. it was only right that we enlisted one of luminary’s couples to host this event, and fergal + yasmine seem like the perfect fit. the event will take place on october 6th, at the hotel cafe in los angeles and will feature cover sets by bebe rexha and louis tomlinson of their favourite love songs as well as dj sets by xavier rexha, storm riley, and rami sebei. this event is meant to be a date night event, and tickets will only be sold in pairs, forcing guests to bring someone along.

LUMINARY EVENT #4: cam’s boardgames and parking lot picnic birthday !

luminary relations has decided that after a few birthday parties full of paparazzi and loud venues, they wanted us to have a more relaxing afternoon in celebration of one of our favourite make-up guru’s turning 20 ! on saturday, september 23rd, we’ll all meet up at 1 pm in the parking lot behind the gamehäus cafe in glendale, california. the parking lot will be closed off and turned into our lunch spot, full of los angeles’ most popular food trucks that will feed us all free of charge for the day. socialize and have lunch at the picnic tables set up for us, or eat eat whatever strange food you’ve opted to try under one of the trees on the outside of the parking lot. there will be an open bar for those of us who are 21+ ( sorry birthday boy ) and plenty of desserts to choose from. 

at 2:30 pm, we’ll ditch our parking lot lunch spot and make our way inside of the cafe that will be closed down for the day and rented out just for us. nobody but our luminary celebs and their guests will be able to partake in all of the fun inside of this cafe for the day. inside, you’ll find that this cozy cafe offers a huge library of board games, card games, strategy games, etc. plus coffees and munchies on the company’s tab. we’ll spend the afternoon playing our favorite childhood board games, or perhaps trying some new ones out with all of our friends within the company ! the luminary reps will set up tournaments of certain popular games ( monopoly, clue, uno, etc ) and will be giving out prizes to the winners so get your game faces on !
