Bellingham wants to be a role model off the pitch as well as on it
It’s already been an amazing year for Jude Bellingham.
Soon after his Borussia Dortmund side lost the Bundesliga title to rivals Bayern Munich on the last day of the 2022-23 season, he joined Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Since then, he has helped Los Blancos to win La Liga and the Champions League and been named La Liga Player of the Year for a season where he scored 19 goals in 28 games, from midfield.
In the second El Clasico of the season at the newly refurbished Bernabeu, the Englishmen wrote his name in Madrid folklore by scoring a late winner to put Madrid 11 points clear in La Liga and ultimately seal their title win.
So it was no surprise when, a day later, Bellingham won the prestigious Laureus World Breakthrough of the Year Award, which was presented to him at the Palacio de Cibeles.
“I’m delighted,” said Bellingham. “Simply being here was already an honour. Being named Laureus Breakthrough is a privilege and I have to thank many people, my family, friends and above all the people at Real Madrid who have helped me this year.
“Being here is a privilege, alongside incredible athletes. I hope I can learn something from them tonight before I go home.
“It’s been a good week for the club and on a personal level. When the team wins, I’m always happy. I feel a bit tired after the Clásico and the 120 minutes in Manchester and this award gives me a bit more energy.
“This club is special. Signing for Real Madrid is the best thing that has ever happened to me. It’s the highlight of 2023. I’m grateful to be able to play here every day and to be surrounded by very special people.“
Unsurprisingly, Bellingham understands that with his profile and meteoric rise, he is seen as a role model and an inspiration to others.
Speaking at the Laureus World Sports Awards evening he added: “I got into football because I love it and there is a responsibility that comes with that, the impact that you can have on kids.
"It's important that I try to be a good role model. I'm not perfect but I want to have a lasting impact on youth growing up.
"It's important as athletes that as we become more popular we end up having a platform and we understand our responsibility for the next generation
"I want to help people along the way and give people the opportunity to get to get to where I have got to, because other people have given me that chance.”
Unsurprisingly, Bellingham started doing charity work soon after he made his debit for Birmingham, at just 16, supporting The Mustard Seed Project which provides food, education and health care to deprived children in Kenya.
He still supports that initiative today, but said at the time: ”It’s something I’m really passionate about. Some friends of the family have set up a charity that helps students in Kenya. It’s not a very wealthy country and a lot of people go into a school without good facilities.
“It’s important to me to help that kind of community when I can. I want to be remembered, not just for football but for my actions off the pitch. The only way I can do that is by carrying on doing what I’ve started to set in motion.
The ultimate aim is to make as much positive impact as I can,” he added. “The project currently is to build as many classrooms as possible and I think as I grow, the charity will grow as well.
“The more attention I get from doing good things on the pitch, hopefully that will crossover to the charity, so it’s definitely at the back of my mind as a driving factor for me to keep working hard and performing well so that the charity can benefit too.
“We recently sent some kit out for the football team. I saw a picture and it gave me a great feeling seeing how happy they were and knowing how much it will help them going forward.
“From an off the pitch point of view, it’s one of the best things I think I can do, so I’m just really excited to continue with that work.”
Regular Calacus readers will know that we firmly believe that sport has the power to change the world, as Nelson Mandela said at the inaugral Laureus World Sports Awards in 2000.
High profile athletes also have a responsibility to use their platform positively and it’s a credit to Bellingham that he recognised from an early age that, with his profile, he can make a huge difference to disadvantaged communities.

Award II
Alexia Putellas x Hardersson!Reader
Aitana Bonmatí x Hardersson!Reader
Natalia Guijarro (OC) x Hardersson!Reader
Part of The Big Adventures Universe
Summary: You are finally rewarded for being the best
Tumblr media
You don't play football for the fame.
You've never played football for fame or money or awards.
You play football because you love it.
It's been apart of your life for as long as you can remember. Your parents still have your first Wolfsburg kit, back when you were a baby and couldn't do anything but cry.
The fame, the money, the trophies all just came along with the sport you love.
The responsibility of carrying your country and your club doesn't weigh on you much, not when you have such passion for the game and your teams.
The first time you felt such responsibility was on your youth team, captaining them to a successful Under-17 Euros. Then, the responsibility was back at Barcelona. You were made the third captain after half a season back from your loan to Lyon.
When you left, the responsibility stayed, being made the sole captain for your country. You've spent a year at Wolfsburg now, the club of your childhood, and the band for your club wraps around your arm in preparation for next season.
Denmark Youth Captain.
Barcelona Third Captain.
Sweden Senior Captain.
Wolfsburg First Captain.
You didn't play football to become a leader but somehow you've become one, moving from yelling orders from your defence to yelling orders at the whole team.
You are an expert keeper. You always have been.
People around you say you've made your mark on the game and you haven't even retired yet. People look at you for what a keeper should be, for how a leader should act.
(People whisper that all keepers coming up the ranks now try to mimic your style, your natural instinct and abilities).
It's only inevitable that you have the trophy cabinet to back up your skill.
Two World Cups sit in your cabinet. Two Golden Gloves as well.
Multiple Keeper of the Year trophies.
An Olympic medal.
A Euros medal.
And then awards for at club level too.
Liga F, Copa de la Reina and Supercopa sit in the apartment you used to share with Natalia with a Première Ligue and Coupe de France medal too.
Your Champion's League medals sit with Natalia's on the wall.
Everything you won at Linköping and Arsenal are at home in Sweden whilst your most recent Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal medals are at your apartment in Germany.
You are the greatest goalkeeper playing in the women's leagues at the moment and, while you cannot see it, everyone else knows it.
You've come to the ceremony to eat some of the bar food and maybe see some of your old Lyon teammates.
Talia has come to the ceremony to see you make history.
Alexia and Aitana are the ones presenting the award and just from the way they're smiling, Talia knows the result.
You've been ranked highly ever since your first nomination. That time, you'd ranked eleventh. Every time after that, you've finished in the top ten.
Your name is called and the world stops.
You suck in a breath, frozen in your seat like you're in the Champion's League final with only a one goal lead and the other team advancing on your goal with lethal efficiency.
You don't know what to do. You don't know what to say.
Your wife allows your tuck your head into her neck, not flinching as your tears drip down onto her suit blazer.
"It's okay, baby," Talia says to you," You deserve this so much."
She helps you to your feet, hiding your face as you wipe your tears where cameras can't see.
You force yourself to walk up the stairs to the stage without stumbling. You suck in a breath.
There it is.
The most prestigious award in football.
It was a few years ago now that Talia won hers. She'd had a standout season during her first as Barcelona's captain. She was lethal on goal for club and country.
There was never any doubt it would be here.
That's the way it always is.
Everyone always expects a striker or a midfielder. Sometimes, it's a defender. It's never been a keeper though, at least for the women's.
Second goalkeeper in history.
First female goalkeeper in history.
Aitana is the one nearest to you.
You're taller than her by a lot, towering over her but she still hugs you like you were little, like you were still the little girl she met when hunting down Pernille's shirt.
One of her hands comes up to cup your cheek.
"You've grown up," She says and you force yourself not to cry," You're so big now."
Alexia is next. You last saw her a few weeks ago when you came back to Spain for the weekend and attended one of Talia's games. Alexia made you come down from the stands and asked about Wolfsburg and how your season was going.
She was all business then and you'd been as vague as possible, in case she remembered something that could be used against you during the next rounds of the Champion's League.
But now, there's no hint of professionalism in her eyes as she pulls you into a hug.
"I told you," She whispers," I told you that you'd get this one day. Remember this feeling, okay? There's nothing better in the world. There's no one better in the world."
She pulls away and hands you the award.
You turn to the cameras, to the audience all on their feet clapping you.
You lift up your Ballon D'or for all to see.

After seeing the pics of alexia at the Barça basketball game could you do one where she is finally playing the wag role for reader? Just overall enjoying being readers number one fan
on the sidelines
alexia putellas x reader
just a lil fluffy blurb that i wrote in half an hour… defo no proof read or spell checked so sorry in advance xo
desperately working on getting some more reqs out for y’all but i’m so overhauled with coursework that it’s taking me way longer so sorry if your request gets ignored as of rn mid terms are killing me ☠️
Tumblr media
“A triple double, Y/n, one incredible feat, how do you feel knowing that your team is through to the play offs?”
You were buzzing, still coming down from the endorphin high as you tried to focus on the reporter who had been the first to attack you as soon as you’d finished shaking hands with your opponents, not even giving you the opportunity to leave the court.
“Every game is a team game, I’m obviously wrapped, but half of that wouldn’t have happened without my teammates. I’m obviously elated that we’re through to finals, the job starts now for us, everything we’ve worked for this season falls down to the next few weeks so we work hard, it’s not over until the final siren.”
The reporter smiled at you and you gave your signature smile back to the camera, trying to get this over and done with as soon as possible.
“The modesty is appreciated, but how did you feel about coming second in the league MVP poll earlier in the week?”
You bit down on your lap, it was a rude question, but you had been prepared for it.
“Obviously I would have loved to come home with the trophy, but it wasn’t meant to be. I have so much respect for Stewie and she deserved the award just as much as anybody else who we were contending against. Honestly, I couldn’t give two shits about individual awards, what matters to me is this playoffs series and maybe I can bring that trophy home instead.”
You smiled once again at the reporter and camera, slowly becoming more uncomfortable with the conversation the longer it went on.
“Now, we all have some questions about the trip down under you took a few weeks ago, any particular reason you decided to go home?”
You began to haphazardly fiddle with the microphone in your hands, willing for this interview to conclude so you could just enjoy your win.
“I missed home, the few days that I spent their were really nice and the team can tell you that since then I have been in much better spirits, sometimes you just need a reset and it was just really good timing that we had the two week break.”
The reporter smirked at you and you could feel the underlying question under her smirk.
“So nothing to do with your visit aligning with the World Cup final and one particular Spanish player who’s here tonight, sporting your number?”
You felt your face flush a little bit at the unforgiving blatancy of the reporter, very quickly trying to remember everything they’d taught you about avoiding questions in media training.
“A good friend of mine, Sam, extended the invitation and gave me some tickets to the finals games so how could I refuse? I mean the sheer pride for the Tillies that I held watching them progress was insane, nothing better than seeing women's sport be elevated at home.”
You could tell the reporter was nagging for you to answer the part of her question that you were ignoring.
“So just a coincidence then that you happened to spend a few days in Barcelona on a layover before returning back to New York?”
You bit the inside of the cheek, this wasn’t what you’d been expecting after winning one of the biggest games in your career.
“Are you implying something, Jackie?”
Your eyebrows rose in mock sarcasm, trying to laugh off the situation and make the reporter understand the message that this wasn’t something you wanted to talk about.
“Simply wondering whether you had anything to do with the presence of Alexia Putellas, or as we all know her, La Reina at tonight's game, and if she happened to be the person you were looking up at tonight everytime you scored?”
You shivered at the mention of her name.
“Alexia and I are good friends, and I will leave it at that.”
You smiled at the camera, enough of a smile that it was genuine but not enough to lead anybody on, because that wasn’t what you wanted to do, you wanted to leave them hanging.
“Good friends that wear each other's jerseys to each other's matches?”
You smirked at the camera, the annoyance of this situation slowly getting to you more and more.
“Good friends that just don’t pack enough of their own clothes when they visit.”
Your voice was dismissive, enough to tell the reporter that you weren’t interested in broaching the topic any further if she wanted to continue to have a conversation with you.
“So, quite the comeback you’ve made in the past 48 months, double back surgery is certainly an impressive feat, how has it felt returning to the court this season and competing at the same level that you were before your injury, especially after how the injury resulted in you sitting out the bronze medal olympic match?”
You could feel the sweat across your body starting to go cold, a true sign that you’d been talking for far to long.
“I’m obviously feeling great, better than ever really. Sitting out at the Olympics was devastating, obviously but I promised that I’d be back and here I am, I’m still working on my recovery, but hopefully by the time the olympics roll around next year I’ll be back fully and bringing home some hardware.”
The reporter laughed heartily at your weak joke, an action that made you a little woozy.
“I’m sorry but that’s all the questions I’ll be answering, my coach is getting rather antsy on the sidelines and it would do me some good not to annoy her right now, so I’ll have to wish you all a goodbye, and see you later for the playoffs.”
You sent a kiss towards the camera before handing the microphone and headset back to the filming crew before following your coach over to the sideline and then into the tunnel towards your change rooms. Sandy patted you on the back as you made your way back to the rooms, just consciously quickening your steps a little bit so you could make the distance as quickly as possible.
You’d never liked limelight, or any of the media attention. You’d started out playing country basketball with your siblings, out on the court all throughout the middle of summer. Eventually, after joining a club and playing some juniors you got picked up by the Perth team and then had worked your way upwards, but never had you played for the attention or glory, growing up, womens basketball in Australia was severely underappreciated, so you’d never had to really face any media attention. But the WNBA was a whole different ballpark and you were still adjusting after 6 seasons to the amount of ways you were now exposed to the general public.
Your whole body relaxed when you spotted Alexia standing beside the locker room door, hand in her phone, flicking furiously through it. You ran directly towards her, almost bowling her over with your strong strides.
She wrapped her arms around you almost immediately, allowing your to bury your head in her neck as you breathed in the scent of her, and the scent of one of your spare jerseys sitting comfortable across her muscley arms and chest. It was a sight for sore eyes, one that you’d been waiting far to long to see.
“I fucking hate reporters.”
Alexia snorted at you, it wasn’t often that she got to see you after games, both of you having extremely busy schedules that hardly allowed for time to go and watch each other mess around with a ball on a pitch or court for an hour.
“I know bebita, but you did so well.”
She concluded her statement in the very best way possible, plastering a series of kisses all over your face that made you giddy on the inside and had you pushing her off of you. The tunnel was a fairly safe place from reporters, but you could never be too sure who was creeping around and a part of you didn’t need your relationship being revealed right at this moment.
Something about having your number across Alexia’s chest set a fire in your soul and you stepped back from her embrace to take it in, to take in the sight of her standing in front fo you, her perfect shoulders on show, sitting comfortable beside the jersey. A few of her back tattoos peaking out from her shoulders giving you a indescribable view of the ink. Her collection was constantly growing and you swore every time she returned to you there was a new one for her to show you and tell you the story of.
She had paired the jersey with a plain pair of white jeans and her washed out pink hair was sitting comfortably on her shoulders, the strands being pushed out of her face by the Prada sunglasses sitting comfortably on her head, sunglasses you were certain had absolutely zero purpose besides being an accessory. You did have to admit that the pink had been your favourite hair in a long while, in fact you’d been the one who Alexia had convinced to help with the dye when she had one of her midnight crisis’ that had you marching down to the chemist to buy neon pink hair dye to make your girlfriend happy.
“I like it when you’re the wag.”
Alexia rolled her eyes, spinning around to give you a look at your brandished last name, sitting perfectly between the valley of skin that travelled between her shoulder blades, everything about it was so perfect to you, warming your soul from the inside.
“I do have to admit, it was quite fun sitting in the crowd for once and pretending I knew what was happening.”
You chuckled, you’d been trying your very hardest to teach Alexia the rules of your sport from the start of your relationship, and to her credit she had a grasp on the more basic rules, but she was absolutely shocking at much more than that. She watched every single one of your games, and yet she had absolutely zero grasp on how the sport of basketball actually worked.
“Look at that, La Reina admitting that she enjoyed being a wag.”
Alexia rolled her eyes at you, her hand coming to rest on your sweaty arm, providing some pressure to your forearm.
“Don’t you even think about telling any of the Barca girls, I’ll never hear the end of it.”
You smiled down at Alexia’s hand, loving the way that her body slotted in so perfectly with you, she knew your body like the back of her own hand and knew exactly what parts of you she should touch in different situations.
“Don’t you worry your little head, this will be our little secret, at least until the girls find my post game interview.”
Alexia nodded concedingly, it was inevitable that your relationship was eventually going to come out to the public, neither of you were particularly stressed about it, it would happen when it happened. You’d gone three years without anybody catching on, only now heading into the fourth year were people really starting to recognise the relationship.
“Go shower, you stink.”
You let Alexia push you towards the locker room door, her face nose scrunching up in faux disgust at you.
“Yes ma’am, La Reina, ma’am.”
The older woman once again rolled her eyes at you, but couldn’t avoid your own hand reached out to hers, silently tugging her into the locker rooms with you. It wasn’t irregular for teammates partners to end up in the rooms after games, and you knew that Alexia would just end up waiting alone in the hallway for you whilst you went about your post game routine.
You lead her towards your cubby, seating her down on the bench before reaching down behind her and pulling out the few items of clothing and toiletries you needed for the shower. One quick look down at Ale revealed to you just how in awe she was of what was occurring around her. There was nothing special happening, most teammates doing similar things to you and beginning their post game rituals.
“Mi amor, I’m going to the shower now, just stay here, bien, and don’t hesitate to ask anybody for something if you need it, si?”
Alexia nodded at you aimlessly, her eyes darting around the room as she took in her surroundings, You took the opportunity to dip out of the room and into the showers, hastening your normal routine so you could return to her as quickly as possible.
You showered in record time, washing your hair and body so quickly you were certain you almost got whiplash from the jolting of your arms and muscles in every direction and you frantically moved around in the shower.
When you returned to Alexia she was in the same spot as you’d left her, her eyes still searching the room and taking in everything happened around her. It was cute to see her so out of place, it was something you’d never seen on her before and something about seeing her like a deer in the headlights made you fall so much further in love with her.
“Cãrino? Let’s go, yeah?”
Alexia’s eyes flashed up to meet your own, her lips falling to a genuine smile as she stood up from your cubby, and before you could pick up your bag she took the honours, collecting the things that you knew you’d need back at the apartment and piling them into your bag before sliding it over her shoulder and starting to walk out, her arm falling comfortably over you shoulder as the two of you met each others pace, walking out towards your car that Alexia had driven you to the game in.
She took care in placing your bag in the boot before sliding into the driver's seat, your keys clanking in the ignition as she started the car.
Almost as soon as she was pulling out of the stadium Alexia’s hand fell to your thigh, a comfortable reminder of the footballers presence.
“You played so well today bebita, I was so proud of you.”
You smiled waterily at Alexia, it was one thing for a reporter to tell you, but for the woman you loved most in the world to tell you that meant something else.
“Thank you, but don’t act like you knew what was going on.”
Alexia cocked her head to the side, frowning at you a little bit.
“Si, maybe, but you got the, what did they call it again? El triple doble, no? Marta said it’s kind of like a hat trick but in basketball lingo, you sunk muchos tres.”
You smiled at Alexia, nodding your head at the Spaniards lack of knowledge over the game you cared for so much, and her attempt at trying to talk basketball to you.
“Yes, I did score a few threes, all of them were for a special person who came out to watch me today.”
Alexia smiled at you, turning her head at the lights to look at you.
“Mm, who might that be?”
You bit your lip, breaking out in a big smile.
“She’s Spanish, and not very good at understanding basketball but she tries and that’s all that matters, she also looks really cute in teal.”
Alexia’s smile only grew at your admission.
“Oh, and she’s a pretty good wag if I do say so myself.”
Alexia silenced your words with a sweet kiss, pressing her lips to yours softly, the two of you having to break apart when the light turned green.
“I’d watch you any day.”
Alexia’s words were murmured quietly, an almost silent acknowledgment of her feelings that was meant just for you.
“I’d watch you any day as well mi amor.”

fight night
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
2.5k words
genre: angst, minor fluff, suggested smut
featuring: auston matthews x female reader
summary: after a fight results in auston uninviting you to the nhl awards, you both end up at UFC 303
“Look, you need to chill the fuck out okay? If you don’t like the people I’m hanging out with here, then don’t bother fucking coming tonight. I’ll just see you when I’m back in town.”
Before you could get another word in, Auston had hung up the phone. The two of you getting in a heated argument about the people he was hanging out with while in Las Vegas for a slew of appearances. The most important being the NHL Awards, which you were supposed to attend alongside him. But not anymore.
You didn’t hate Auston’s friend group per say, but he’d been adopting a new workout routine for the offseason, and they didn’t necessarily seem to be helping that. He’d been drinking a lot, something that wasn’t necessarily uncommon for him, but heavy drinking was not going to put him on good terms with his conditioning coach.
Having just expressed your concerns turning into a huge fight between the two of you. It probably didn’t help that you hadn’t seen in each other in weeks, the awards show meant to be the event that brought you two back together. But now here you were, already in Vegas since you’d flown in that day, with your agenda now cleared. Your flight home not for two days as you anticipated spending time with Auston before flying back out.
As you contemplated rebooking your flight, a call came in from your manager, not something you had been expecting.
“Hey y/n, you’re in Las Vegas for a few days right?”
“Um, yeah, I’m in Vegas right now. What’s up?”
“Well, you know how we just closed that sponsorship deal for you with New Amsterdam Vodka?”
Truly you had no clue how your manager landed you that sponsorship, it being one of the best brands you’d gotten a deal with to date. You’d like to think it was because of how much you publicized your love for Pink Whitney, but who really knows.
“Well, they had some things come up. And long story short, can you attend the UFC fight tomorrow night? We’ve got Olivia on a plane flying in as we speak.”
Olivia was your podcast co-host that was also signed to a deal with New Amsterdam. The two of you were the hottest up and coming podcasters who were quickly gaining notoriety for your ability to talk sports and pop culture, while making it entertaining and understandable for all audiences.
“Um, yeah, I can definitely attend the fight. My schedule is completely free.”
“Great! We’ve got an itinerary for the both of you that I’ll send over shortly, because there’s gonna be some brand activation type things needed. And we’ve got stylists coming to your hotel tomorrow afternoon to help you girls with outfits, hair, and makeup!”
After giving you the last few details, you hung up with your manager. A bit shocked at the opportunity you were getting, but thankful to have some sort of distraction to look forward to and hopefully get your mind off the fight you had with Auston.
-
Entering T-Mobile arena, you honestly weren’t sure what to expect out of the much anticipated UFC 303, but it was something to cross off your bingo card for the year. Despite your lack of interest in the fights themselves, you were excited to attend and at least say you were there.
Olivia had gotten in late last night and you had to fill her in on everything. Why you fought with Auston, how he uninvited you from being his guest at the awards show. And how you were thankful for this appearance to get your mind off of him. The stylists had thrown together a more casual look for you: light wash ripped boyfriend jeans, a white tank top, and an oversized black and yellow racing jacket. Elevating the look a bit with some heeled boots. Olivia’s outfit complimenting yours well, both your hair and makeup done just enough to look minimal but still flawless. And with a few New Amsterdam cocktails already in your systems, you were ready to roll.
The arena had all the celebrities attending enter away from the general public, meaning you’d be passing some familiar faces in the tunnels as you were led to your seats. Everyone from Gordon Ramsey to Aaron Rodgers, even-your boyfriend.
“Well fuck…”
Immediately noticing the reason for your reaction, Olivia tried to block Auston from seeing you. But it was too late. His eyes went wide as he saw you, looking you up and down, thank god you looked this good. He was with fellow NHLer Clayton Keller as they awaited an usher to guide them to their seats.
Though shocked to see you at the event, he knew it must have been something your manager had pulled off for you. A soft smile on Auston’s lips as he watched you interact with the New Amsterdam reps, he couldn’t help but be proud of you. He’s seen how much you’ve poured into your podcast, and how hard you’ve worked for moments like these. Despite the argument, he still cared about you and loved seeing you in your element.
He hadn’t gotten the chance to say anything as you were quickly pulled off in the opposite direction. Most likely to film some type of ad for the brand. Pulling out his phone he shot you a quick text, making sure you got to hear from him in case he didn’t see you the rest of the night.
You look so fucking beautiful my love.
The text brought a smile to your face as you quickly typed back a response before you were pulled aside for an interview alongside Olivia.
“Lastly, y/n, I wanted to extend a congratulations to your boyfriend, Auston Matthews of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Winner of the Richard Trophy last night at the NHL Awards.”
“Oh thank you so much.”
The comment was a bit unexpected, though it wasn’t uncommon to get asked about Auston since your relationship was very much public.
“We didn’t see you in attendance last night with Auston, hopefully there isn’t any trouble in paradise there?”
Laughing off the comment you shook your head, “No, not at all! There unfortunately was some last minute conflicts that prevented me from attending. But I’m so proud of him, I wish I could have been there. Luckily we have a night like tonight where we can just have some fun, and celebrate. So, I’m glad we were able to both be here!”
The interview wrapped up and you took a deep breath, Olivia squeezing your arm in reassurance. “I don’t know how you pulled that answer out of your ass, but that was so good!” The two of you laughed as an usher finally led you to your seats.
“I truly don’t even know what answer I gave, my brain was on autopilot. I’m just glad I didn’t say something stupid.”
“Are you gonna talk to him tonight at all?”
Stopping in your tracks as your usher gestured to your seats, your eyes settling on your boyfriend who was standing with his friends just next to where you’d be sitting for the night.
“Well I might not have much of a choice if I’m stuck sitting next to him.”
The two of you set your bags down at your seats, mingling a bit with the people around you. Remembering how your manager always preached to you both network as much as possible at events like these.
As you were talking with a rep from some coffee brand, trying your best to convince them to send some product to you girls to try, you felt an arm snacking around your waist. Immediately knowing it was Auston as your hand entangled with his at your hip.
Thanking the rep for their time, giving them your agents number, you finally were able to turn your attention to Auston. Who patiently stood at your side, a smile on his face as he watched you doing your thing.
“Hey baby.”
“Hi.”
He gave you a kiss before pulling you into his chest, rubbing your back as he knew you were still frustrated with him. Doing his best to try and make up for being an asshole.
“I didn’t know you were coming tonight?”
He pulled you towards your seats, his hand immediately resting on your thigh as you sat down. Eyes fixated on you as he sipped his drink.
“Well, neither did I. Until I got the call ten minutes after someone uninvited me from their awards show last night.”
You shot him a glare as he gently squeezed your thigh. “Look, about that, I’m so sorry, I shouldn’t have reacted like that and-“
“Auston, it’s fine. Tonight, I just want to have fun, we don’t need to talk about it right now. Especially because I’ve had enough cocktails that you get me riled up, you and I will end up in that ring as the main event.”
He smirked at you as he leaned in close, stealing a kiss from you. “Is that a threat or a promise?”
Pushing him away as you tried to hide your blush, you ignored his horny thoughts. “Auston Matthews, we might need to cut you off. Someone is already feeling themselves tonight.”
A slight whine left his lips as he moved his hand, now draping an arm over your shoulder. “I can’t help that you look so good babe. Plus, I haven’t seen you in weeks, you expect me to not have my hands all over you? Most importantly, I need to make up for being such a dick last night.”
“Well that is very true. I didn’t even get to celebrate your big trophy win with you.”
A pout on your lips as you glanced up at him, deciding that you’d have some fun making him regret not inviting you. “I even brought your favorite blue lace set to wear under my dress last night, but, it just stayed in my suitcase since you didn’t want me there.” Fingers lightly playing with his chains as you spoke, making sure to really get under his skin.
The look in his eyes immediately turning to one of lust as he thought about the set in question. Baby blue lace that hugged your curves perfectly, and while it looked amazing on you he loved it even better on the floor.
“And I said I was sorry baby. I promise I’ll make it up to you.”
Tilting your chin up he brought your lips to his, clearly forgetting the two of you were in public as his tongue tried pushing past your lips. A slight chuckle leaving your lips as you pulled away from him.
“Babe, I love that you’re wanting to make it up to me. But maybe not front row for everyone to see, okay?”
He rolled his eyes as he obeyed, simply returning a hand to your thigh as the two of you watched as the main events were set to begin shortly.
You swore Auston’s hand crept closer and closer to your inner thigh with the ending of each fight. The alcohol mixed with the thoughts of you wearing his favorite lingerie clearly having him hot and bothered. And while you weren’t turning down the idea, it having been several weeks since you’d gotten your hand on him, you were still here for work and needed to act professional.
He luckily kept his cool for the remainder of the night, respecting when you had to remind him that you were there for work while he was there for fun. The two of you leaving hand in hand as he definitely was not letting you out of his sight. His mind focused on getting you back to his hotel and making up for not having you by his side at the awards show.
The second the door to his room closed you were pulled into his lap as he sat at the edge of the bed. One hand resting on your hip while the other pulled you in for a kiss.
“You do look fucking stunning tonight baby.”
A smile crept across your lips as your arms wrapped around his neck, thanking him as your eyes locked with his. “And, I’m sorry about last night. I should’ve never been that way, I needed you there with me. And, I let some dumb shit get me all worked up. I know you are just looking out for me, and I appreciate that so much. I love how much you care for me.”
Resting your forehead on his, you sighed, not even caring about the fight anymore. Knowing it was stupid, but appreciating his apology.
“I do care about you, a lot. And, maybe sometimes I overstep a bit. But it’s all out of love for you Auston. I wish I could’ve been there for you last night, but I’m here now. And there’s no place I’d rather be.”
“While I couldn’t agree more, I do wish I could’ve gotten to see that blue lace set on you last night. Would’ve been a nice way to celebrate that’s for sure.”
Slipping from his lap as he hands reached out to try and pull you back, you slowly discarded of your jacket. Standing in front of him with a smile on your face as he watched you in anticipation.
“Well, maybe we can still celebrate a day late.”
Pulling your tank top over your head, you revealed that you were in fact in the blue lace number. Auston biting his tongue at the sight of you in the bra, his hands wanting to make quick work of your jeans to see you in the matching thong.
“Fuck…but if you didn’t know you’d see me tonight, why wear the blue?”
“Shut up and just enjoy the coincidence Auston!”
Shaking your head you walked back over to him, pulling him in for a kiss as his hands made quick work of your jeans. Needing to see you fully on display in blue lace just for him. As you kicked off the jeans, he sat back on his forearms, lust filled eyes watching as you did a spin for him.
“God you’re so fucking perfect.”
Without warning he picked you up, lips crashing against yours while his hands rested under your ass gripping tightly as your skin and surely leaving a few marks.
You giggled as he tossed you on the bed, making quick work of his clothes, leaving him in just his briefs as he hovered over you. Tucking some hair behind your ear as his hips ground into your core, earning a moan from you as you felt him growing hard against you. The two of you taking your time, kissing for what felt like hours, no hurry as you wanted to savor every second of your time with one another.
“I love you so much Auston, and I’m so proud of you. But if you ever uninvite me from something like that ever again, so help me god.”
He rolled his eyes as a hand traveled down to the string of your thong, snapping it slightly as his fingers teased at your core.
“Relax baby, I’m gonna make up for it all.”

first time trip ✾ a. putellas
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: alexia putellas x reader
summary: in which a lovely couple and their only child visit the philippines for the first time. pwnt!reader, real madrid!reader
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ ⋆✦⋆ ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
you were sitting in the private jet, it would be a few hours till you’d land in the philippines. you looked to the back to see alexia sleeping with ana marie cuddled into her.
ana marie was the exact carbon copy of the two of you. she had your eyes and nose, but she had alexia’s hair and mouth shape. you softly smiled seeing the cute scene, alexia was the one who suggested to visit your home country for the first time.
after all, your daughter is reaching her sixth month. and her grandparents are so excited to see their little heiress, it was decided that ana marie would inherit your parents company.
you protested not wanting her life to be controlled, but your parents had agreed that she could live her life how she wants it. if she wanted to pursue a sport then she could, but she’d also have to run the company at the same time. quite hectic, is it not?
your thoughts were cut out as you heard someone calling you, it was your mother.
“anak, asan na kayo? [child, where are you now?]” your mother asked, as you hummed.
“nasa eroplano pa kami, ma. [we are still on the plane.” your mother hummed.
“tell us when you arrive, ha? susunduin kita. [i will pick you up.]” you softly mumbled underneath your breath.
“ma, it’s not needed po. i can drive there naman.” you talked with your mother for a few moments before she hung up as she had to go to work.
you opened your laptop preparing to do some work, and in that amount of time, the jet has landed. the pilot exited his cockpit, as you stood up packing things away.
“mahal?” you called out, wondering if alexia was awake. she was as she gently carried ana marie in her arms.
“vamos.” alexia said as you chuckled at her behavior, the bags were already placed into your car, as you opened the passenger seat for alexia who gave you a soft kiss on the cheek.
the trip to the house wasn’t that long, there would usually would be traffic as you lived in metro manila but for some reason, there wasn’t any which you were thankful for. traffic in the philippines was such a hassle, you didn’t want your child waking up in between.
as you pulled up, you noticed the silhouette of your parents waiting at the porch. alexia was the first one to get out, greeting your parents along with a certain mini you.
while you had gotten the bags from the trunk, you were pulled into a hug as soon as you were in your parent’s view.
“anak, miss ka namin. kamusta naman sa barcelona? [child, we miss you. how is it at barcelona?]” your mother said, as you hummed.
“it’s really great, ma. parehas lang yung weather. [the weather is the same].” your mother hummed as she pulled you all inside.
“ma, i’ll drop the luggage sa room ko.” she gave you a quick nod, as you carried the luggage by its handle, and swung the duffel bag over your shoulder.
you slowly went up the stairs, careful not to trip or fall. it was just as you remembered, the posters filled on the wall.
the medals you won from football tournaments during your studies in the states. you’ve joined your middle school, high school and college varsity team. you also played for a youth team as well.
the different colored medals were on display, the trophies had a specific shelf and the academic awards were also there.
“it’s still the same, huh.” you said, before joining your parents in the living room. alexia was chatting with them, while ana had just woken up from her nap.
the whole time of the trip, you’ve gotten to introduce alexia to the filipino culture, the crusine more specifically dishes like sinigang also known as sour soup, adobo which is braised pork, and etc.
you also visited a few clubs like stallion laguna fc or kaya-iloilo, clubs that your national teammates play in. they were quite surprised when they saw alexia knowing she’s considered as la reina. but it was a notable experience, alexia got to see you coach for the first time. in her words, it was extremely attractive for her.
