🌸PINK IS ICONIC🌸
This post if for the men, again, I’m not speaking in terms of sexual preferences or anything of that nature, but rather the ENERGY of PINK.
Ive heard it takes a confident man to wear pink, but I like to think it takes an aligned one. As more people come in line with the divine feminine and sacred masculine aspects of their soul essence, color associations won’t be so limiting when embracing energy, fashion or humanity. #whentheoldrulesnolongerapply
The first man I ever saw in a pink shirt was wearing an Izod/ Lacoste polo my older cousins dated businessman who only wore Lacoste when they were attending causal events. This one guy who had every color of the shirts that the company made, was the sexiest man in the room, I remember the first time I meet him he had on a pink alligator shirt, for whatever reason that left an unforgettable impression on me, knowing how I felt as a young girl, that was made to wear pink all the time because I was a girl, it was refreshing and sexy to see a successful confident man in pink.

Apollo 14... Omega & Rolex together to the Moon ! During the 1971 Apollo 14 mission, the astronauts not only wore a NASA-issued Omega Speedmaster chronograph but the CMP Stu Roosa and LMP Ed Mitchell had choosen to wear their personal Rolex GMT-master 1675 pilot watch as well... Rolex and sports have always had a great link and 50 years ago “Golf”  became the sport of almost every astronaut as in 1968, astronaut chief Donald “Deke” Slayton requested that he could play with other astronauts  and  approached Golf-pro Danny Lawler to give the Apollo astronauts some  private lessons. Veteran-astronaut Alan Shepard was a keen golf player since the Mercury days and had the idea to play golf on the Moon ! On  Apollo 14, Commander Shepard carried a make-shift Iron-6 attached to a  geologic sample stick and hit two golf balls on the Moon. The make of  the Golf balls was never revealed but the Golf stick sits in the  U.S.G.A. museum in New Jersey - USA. In fact Danny Lawler was also a  representative for the Alligator-logo Lacoste shirts and that’s how the  Apollo astronauts ended up wearing Lacoste polo shirts. Note NASA astronaut/Admiral Alan Shepard wore his personal Rolex GMT-master 1675  Pepsi GMT pilot watch in this May 1973 image. (Photo: UPI)

Jean René Lacoste (July 2, 1904 – October 12, 1996) was a French tennis player and businessman. He was nicknamed “the Crocodile” because of how he dealt with his opponents; he is known worldwide as the creator of the Lacoste tennis shirt, which he introduced in 1929.
He was one of The Four Musketeers with Jean Borotra, Jacques Brugnon, and Henri Cochet, French tennis stars who dominated the game in the late 1920s and early 1930s. He won seven Grand Slam singles titles at the French, American, and British championships and was an eminent baseline player and tactician of the pre-war period. As a member of the French team, he won the Davis Cup in 1927 and 1928. He was the World’s #1 player in both 1926 and 1927.
In 1933, he founded La Société Chemise Lacoste with André Gillier. The company produced the tennis shirt, known as a “polo shirt,” which he often wore when he was playing; this had a crocodile (often thought to be an alligator) embroidered on the chest. In 1963, his son Bernard took over the management of the company.
In 1961, he created an innovation in racket technology by unveiling and patenting the first tubular steel tennis racket. Wood rackets were the norm; the new version’s strings were attached to the frame by a series of wires, which wrapped around the racket head. The steel-tube racket was stiffer and imparted a greater force to the ball during a stroke. It was marketed in Europe under the Lacoste brand, but in the US it was marketed by Wilson Sporting Goods. Pierre Darmon debuted the racket at Wimbledon in 1963, but it achieved critical acclaim and huge popularity as the Wilson T-2000, used by American tennis greats Billie Jean King and Jimmy Connors. #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence

July 21, remembering Alan B. Shepard On July 21, 1998 Rear-admiral & veteran NASA astronaut Alan Shepard passed away aged 74. He was the second person and first American to travel into space on Mercury-Redstone 3 “Freedom 7″ in May 1971. Anno 2022 Rolex remains a sponsor for major Golf tournaments. I must have missed something. What would the LaCoste shirt/gator have to do with BG? Thanks!
It's just a huge reach. The person was linking baby (Riccardo's baby) to the alligator ('gator) on Louis' shirt and saying it was a sign for "babygater" (baby 'gator). I think it's just a coincidence, but it was funny.

Unrelated to the loveliness happening but I just want to inform everyone that some amazing seller has spoofed the Lacoste brand shirts with an alligator Loki and I just got my crewneck sweater and it’s the fucking most adorable thing ever!
Amazing! I did see one back when the show was on, and it looked fantastic! Not sure if it's the same company, but such a great idea.
