Headcanon: Polly Wright is the daughter of Charley’s sister Margaret. Clearly that’s why she bears such an incredibly uncanny resemblance to Lady Louisa Pollard.
She moved to the city to escape her stuffy upbringing, where she met Ben Jackson and Dodo Chaplet. The rest is history.
