Yj goes the Arkham Knight route regarding Jason. Meaning that he never actually died and his memory loss was due to a bullet he took to the head that he survived from while he was captured. However Ras still took steps to ensure everyone believed Jason was dead while in actually he has been alive all this time and no one knew. Since he would still have been the one at fault for ruining Jason’s life and taking a son away from his family.

Setting up YJ to actually kill him off in during the show so he can actually be reborn as the Red Hood gaining his signature white streak.
