Jessie's little garden is slowly growing as he plants every seed he finds by the side of the road. His gardening skill has also improved a lot (in comparison to his guitar skill which was lvl 1 or 2 at that time).

While at the library, Jessie bumped into Mandy Best, one of the first people he met upon arriving at Starlight Shores. They chatted for a bit and they actually got along this time.

...Until she started initiating romantic advances on him. Like they just became friends minutes ago and she suddenly tries to smooch him. While he was creeped out by her boldness, he doesn't want to lose his first friend here so he just politely declined and lectured her about consent. No means no, Mandy.

A little bit of update: I won't be as active these next few weeks because of school stuff. It's my last semester in uni (hopefully) so it's a busy time. I will still be lurking around, as usual, and I will still try to post some stuff occasionally.

For the meantime, here's a photo of Jessie throughout the years! He's a Young Adult now, recently graduated from uni. I really like how you can witness his growth in these photos: from a pudgy, little teenager, to what he is now. It's like I'm a parent witnessing their child grow up; I feel strangely proud of this little pixel boy man. *wipes tear

P.S. He also looks sooo good with a beard, but that's for another day ( ͡⁠°⁠ ͜⁠ʖ⁠ ͡⁠°)

Jessie's feeling extra rebellious today.

Homeschool went great; Jessie was able to meet other teens his age at the library. At least now he knows he's not the only one struggling with calculus...

However, he couldn't stop thinking about what happened earlier. Maybe he was a little too harsh when he lashed out at Mandy for her inappropriateness. While he can't deny that there seems to be something going on between them, all of it was too sudden that he wasn't able to fully process what was happening.

After much thought, he decided to call Mandy to clear things up.

"What the hell, Mandy?!"

The next morning...

Jessie woke up early and made a simple breakfast for both of them: PB&J sandwich for him and salad for Mandy since he doesn't have any cooking skills yet. It was his way of showing his gratitude for letting him stay the night.

MANDY: It's fine. You can stay here anytime. We're friends, remember? Also, it's kind of lonely living alone sometimes so it's nice having somebody over. JESSIE: R-really?? Thanks, Mandy. You're the best! MANDY: Ha! I know. Don't go idolizing me or whatever lol.

What Jessie does in his free-time: dumpster diving, salvaging stuff from the junkyard, DJ-ing at the club, and busking. Everything for those precious little simoleons, babyyy~

Homeschool is going great for Jessie. His flexible schedule allows him to study in the morning and work in the afternoon. When he has trouble understanding a lesson, he just asks Lindy who always stops by the library before her shift.
