Who’s going? I’m gonna be there. Who fancies meeting up for a drink? Very surprised this hasn’t sold out. Its only three days away and they’re still trying to sell tickets. Even reduced them by 55% on Groupon. What does this tell you? To me they haven’t allowed enough lead time and it should have coincided with the finish of the new series in October. Peaky Blinders is all about darkness and rain. I think someones misjudged it on top of which l think whoever’s in charge of the marketing doesn’t truly understand the Peaky Blinders fans. It will be interesting to see how it goes. There was a Peaky Blinders event last year in Digbeth that had brilliant marketing and sold out however unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations from its fantastic marketing and l believe has done a lot of damage to the reputation of this official event this year. I personally think the people who are organising this actual event will put on a fantastic event as its the people behind the very successful Boomtown festival but judgement can only be reserved until after it takes place.
