you were at your wits end.

clothes thrown all over your room, one shoe in your hand while the other is at the top of your closet.. everything was a mess and you wanted to cry. the moment the tears of frustration wanted to come out, your door slammed open and your boys stumbled into your room.

“BABE IM HERE WHAT'S THE- problem.. woah, that's..”

“a giant mess,” enter tsukasa (who was responsible enough to shut the door behind leo and mika who sprinted to your room), ever the voice of reason, “are you okay, y/n?”

“do i look? i promised natsu i'd go and he never said i have to look fancy or whatever– it's literally just a concert– but i want to look good.. and-”

“you don't know what to wear; that's what we're here for. mika, find something nice. leo, pick out the shoes. i'll look through the accessories after, i'll go get us something to drink first.”

tsukasa went to the kitchen while the other 2 got to work. you sat there for a moment, processing everything. how good they are at calming you down so effortlessly every time, you're eternally grateful to them for always having your back.

by the time tsukasa came back, mika already had a couple fits picked out for you to look at. once you found one you liked, leo presented the shoes he picked out. you grabbed the things and went to change while tsukasa worked on the accessories, and boom. a killer fit.

casting a quick glance towards your alarm clock, you paused. 5:34 pm. the concert starts at 6. the place is a 40 minute walk from here. maybe if you run? no, you'll get sweaty and you'll fuck up your hair.. but-

“i'll drive you.”

turning around, everyone was stunned to see mao in the doorway. once you fully faced him, his eyes widened as they took you in.

you were so pretty. always. it was unfair.

“really? are you sure?”

“if i wasn't i wouldn't be offering in the first place, now hurry up or you'll be late.”

the realization that he was completely right hit you directly in the face. you quickly turned around to hug and thank the guys before running off with mao, praying you'll make it in time so natsume doesn't think you stood him up. though, it shouldn't even matter. it's not like it's a date– or like he has a surprise for you, right?

meanwhile, sakasaki natsume poked his head out to look around every couple minutes. he watched the people piling in, desperately trying to find your face in the crowd. he was unsuccessful every time, though.

if the others noticed him getting more upset every time he couldn't find you, they didn't say anything.
