Seeing the Planetarium, Mini Zoo with small animals, and other exhibitions was really cool! As a little girl, I loved going to the planetarium! Once a year, we would board the yellow school bus and go to learn all about our solar system. I was back in this wonderful world on yesterday! I Learned So Much Today! Did you know this about Macon, Georgia? According to the National Parks Service, there is "More Than 12,000 Years of Continuous Human Habitation at the Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park. This park is a prehistoric American Indian site, where many different American Indian cultures occupied this land for thousands of years. American Indians first came here during the Paleo-Indian Period hunting Ice Age mammals. Around 900 CE, the Mississippian Period began, and people constructed mounds for their elite, which remain here today." Stay tuned for my article featuring this and lots more!
