Claudia was suddenly caught off guard by Lestat’s actions. Her eyes widened in surprise but of course she would except his attention. One of her hands rest against his chest as the other entangled itself in his hair. She found herself returning the kiss as the blood threatened to rise in her cheeks. She relaxed against his touch as she clung to him.

"Marie?" Lestat called coming into her home after his six month 'nap'. "Marie! Mon amour? " he called and started looking into the large rooms to find her, growing more and more worried with every second passing. "MARIE!" he shouted only to hear his beautiful wife shouting 'shut up you wailing banshee' and come down the stairs looking as beautiful as ever. "I must have died and gone to heaven for it's most beautiful angel greets me after my slumber" he praised and kissed her knuckles.

At first, Marie thought she was dreaming. Dreaming that her husband had woken and had come home to her, to their children. She brushed the voice off as wishful thinking. The second time, it was harder to deny his presence. Joy raced through her veins and she raced down the stairs to him. "Oh, shut up you wailing banshee!" She called to him, her voice positively leaking her enthusiasm. He raced down the stairs to him, her feet carrying her as fast as she could. "Oh my love you know I hate it when you leave me! Welcome home husband!" She wrapped her arms around his shoulders, pressing kisses to his neck.
