Downhill

Things are getting out of hand here. We are almost as disorganized as the southern colonies must be. Firstly, the witches have been getting more and more of a hassle, and they are now bewitching animals such as dogs! Poor puppy! I could have used it on the fields to pull a plow and turn a profit but instead it was killed. There are more and more hangings every day, and the persecuted mostly include female landowners. There is even talk of the governor’s wife being a witch. Next, the wars with the savage Indians are increasing. And there is no unity in the colony as there are more and more tolerant individuals now a days. Oh how I wish I could go back to the good old 1660′s. SAD!
