and im thinkin about a scenario where a dragon is undercover with a spell that makes them appear common [human or other humanoid] to go to a ball, and then has no clue what the hell to do. how do i drink from a cup? what are these flat sweet things? they've never used a simple cup before, and they lap from it like an animal until they see how the other guests do it. they eat the flat sweet things- cookies [or biscuits if you're that person]- and are just so delighted they can't help but have another. undercover dragon at ball is my new favorite trope /hj

I haven't gotten the chance to think about Fireman in detail just yet as i still need to work on how i visualize the lightbots in my head so i drew him instead :)

As for Heatman he is the type of guy to ask if a seat is taken and then not wait for an answer/completely disregard it and sit on the closest person's lap. He doesn't care. Sometimes this means some poor bastard(usually flash or crash) gets immobilized for a few hours because he decided he felt like taking a nap there but really they're kind of used to it at that point. He is usually very laidback. Forget microplastics he eats macroplastics . I was gonna draw him normal but flashman is here too now I GUESS. This isnt about him

Long Day at Work

desc: this was back when they started to get to know each other, they get closer from there

Elecman sighed as he locked the doors to the powerplant it was dark out, pitch black with only the faint light of the lamppost from a distance. It was a rough day he struggled to admit, his whole body was aching and it didn't help that his joints were hurting, they felt stiff and could barely move, he just wanted to lay down, but he unfortunately still had to walk home, the thought of having to take another step just made him feel like bursting into tears, but he had to do it. Elecman walked down the sidewalk for a few minutes, looking down the road. It was too quiet, no cars in sight, he sighed from exhaustion. There was a sudden bang, making him jump up. He looked through the alleyway where he heard the sound from, he saw a trash can tipped over. “probably a cat” he thought to himself. Just then, he saw a silhouette, coming closer, he backed up, getting ready for a battle, just then the figure came out into the light. It was Quickman. Elecman rolled his eyes as he continued to walk. Quickman ran up, walking next to him. “I was waiting for you to get off work, but you were taking long, so I left, sort of, stayed here just in case you were on your way! Are you ready for our weekly fight?” Quickman asked as he took out a boomerang and stood in front of Elecman to prevent him from walking further. “Not in the mood.” Elecman growled in response. “Why not?” Quickman asked, trying to push his buttons. “Because everyday, I wake up early in the morning to go to work, my body and head hurts and I have to stay there for basically the entire fucking day because people don't know how to save electricity and I have to be the one to solve everyone's problems, No breaks! Nothing! And by the time I do leave, I'm in so much pain, and I STILL have to walk home. It's not like you would know because you have no other purpose than fighting!” Elecman yelled, catching his breath. Quickman's usual grin disappeared. He didn't know how to respond. He wasn't expecting that. “What? No shitty comeback?!” Elecman yelled. He was shaking. He was pissed. They both stood there in silence. "Would it help if I carried you home?” Quickman offered, breaking the silence. Elecman rolled his eyes. He really just wanted to do anything else but stand or walk and desperately wanted to take the offer, but he wasn't sure on to trust a wilybot or not. “Just leave me alone. I'm not in the mood to be mocked.” Elecman looked down and continued to walk. Quickman stood there awkwardly, feeling bad for the lightbot. He knew that he just wanted to help but respected his wish.

Romeo and Juliet, right? But Bass and Roll.

Hold on a second, I’m going somewhere with this. 🫵

I personally ship Bass and Roll from the Megaman games, and while I was minding my own business one day, an idea suddenly came to my head: What if Bass and Roll had a relationship, but based off of Romeo and Juliet? (Hence the title of this post.)

And you want to know the craziest part? It can actually work. The Montagues vs. Capulets. The Wilybots vs. Lightbots (or even as simple as Wily vs. Light). Both Bass and Roll are from different creators, who are enemies. Romeo and Juliet are from different families, who are also enemies. You see where I’m going with this?

Of course, the plot would have to be adjusted, but I think something like that could work. (I don’t think it would be strictly based off the play, more like inspiration or loosely based off of it.)

I genuinely can see Bassroll/Rollass as something tragic, just as much as it could be wholesome. If you look at it from Roll’s perspective, imagine falling in love with the guy who’s constantly trying to kill your brother, yet he loves you back. (Or if we’re being less extreme, let’s just say they’re rivals. Which is probably the better way to look at it.) She would probably feel conflicted. She might not be sure on how well Rock would take the news. And if you look at it from Bass’ perspective, this goof fell in love with his rival’s sister, which would probably add a layer of confusion and even doubt for him. Because Roll would genuinely have a reason not to like him back. And I have a funny feeling that Wily wouldn’t be too happy with Bass falling in love with one of his rival’s creations. (Not too sure how Light would feel. He probably wouldn’t be mad, just disappointed.) Y’know what I mean?

Of course, it is just an idea. The execution would need to be done well for this to work, but the similarities are there.

“Y-You lied to me,” Rock whispered, his eyes blown wide with shock and horror. “You said she was just gonna stay until after the phone call. Th-then her Dad was gonna pick her up. That’s what you said…”

“Oh, he will. After he does something for me,” Wily cackled. “That’ll teach him to get involved in matters he’s not a part of!”

Rock didn’t realize he was backing away until he bumped into a workbench.

“YOU LIED TO ME!” He repeated the weight of everything sinking in. Panic coursed through his circuits. “You lied! What else have you been lying about?! Roll kept insisting I was her brother; was that true?! Am I a Lightbot?! Are they even—”

He couldn’t process. Everything was wrong. None of his Experience Data could be trusted.

He had to get out.

Without a word, Rock teleported away. He didn’t even check the coordinates. As long as it wasn’t here.

Roll Light

Younger by less than an hour, this household helper refuses to let her purpose get in the way of helping her twin brother! Just as driven, if not more, this strong-willed bot modified herself for combat, using her tools to fight Wily's robots side by side with Mega Man. Being the second Lightbot, she's classified as DLN-002, but she won't let that stop her from being number one!

Brain Bot Light

Made months after his siblings, Brain Bot has been recognized as DLN-003, even though he wasn't the first to hold that serial number. The smartest computer around, he tends to think more like a traditional robot— do as you're told, be as helpful as possible, and solve problems. This... lighter grasp on morals is a pain to take care of, especially with Wily's strong desire to take Brain Bot for himself. It's up to his siblings to guide him and keep him out of harm's way.

Which Robot Master from the second numbers do you think is the most hostile towards the robots of Dr. Light? And which one is the friendliest towards them? I'm very interested how you interpret the relationship between Dr Wily's and Dr. Light's creations.

quickman loves annoying THEM any chance he gets. He will go out of his way to do so if theyre in the area like if the seconds go out in the city for whatever reason at the same time as the 1sts. he'll go bother any of them . He's not hostile really he's just a massive pain in the ass

Flashman finds Rock and Roll particularly annoying to be around and will scrunch up his face and voice his obvious annoyance to some degree along the lines of "ugh not those kids again" but MOSTLY doesnt care about the lightbots. Except for timeman he'd probably pick on him and bicker with him . Just a bit . as you mightve seen by my most recent drawing which WAS prompted by this ask actually . ALSO probably jewelman too theyre either friends or theyre at eachothers throats the girls are fighting you know the drill.

heatman will PROBABLY fight iceman specifically? like its on sight manlet on manlet violence. otherwise doesnt care at all he wont even acknowledge them most of the time lord knows what goes on in his mind if anything at all

woodman really isnt the type to hang out . maybe hornet man if they happen to be in the same place? he might hang out with the nature bots at least so they could do some gardening while enjoying eachothers company or take a stroll in the forest

crashman keeps an eye on them and doesn't like them very much, but still inevitably shows curiosity towards them. Prefers to keep his distance than actually interact with the lightbots usually? Very hesitant. He's not scared mind you, he's just not sure what to think of them.

metalman usually just squints at them and does a classic "youre dead" throat-slitting gesture when they pass by. also regularly bickers with cutman

bubbleman glares and cross his arms at them if they so much as exist in his vicinity but might end up forgetting all about it and will be very chill with them as soon as hes shown a bit of friendliness ALSO he probably loves hanging out with splash woman

Being the same S.O that was considered Copy Rock's "emotional support human". Except this time: you were with the real Rock and not a bloodthirsty copy. And as a way to take a breather from all the pain he’s gone through, he decided to take you to the same amusement park run by the Fifth Numbers.

Since Rock was the only Lightbot that was on okay terms with the Fifth Numbers (unlike the other Lightbots), you were given a special VIP pass because you were the lover of the Mega Man himself. But as usual... there was still some tension between your boyfriend and the Fifth Numbers since they're Wilybots.

He didn't want to overwhelm you with all the excitement of the park; so he decided to have this date go at a slower pace. And to start it off, you both went to Crystal Man's yakisoba stand so he could get you a small snack (because you're human, of course).

Afterwards, you took a calm ride on the Ferris wheel that Elec Man rode in that one panel from Megamix Vol.2, remember that? While that was happening, he held your hand in a comforting but firm way.

Because I don't have any ideas for more headcanons, we'll just end the fluff here by saying that you had a good time with your boyfriend at the park.

the first dream that I've ever had of elecmann was some random book in a nightmare that I read.in that dream and it was about how none of the lightbots had any type of awareness like they were just made with the purpose to work and had no other feelings/thoughts whatsoever and elecman was also that way too but he had a fight with a wilybot (I don't remember who) and it damaged his system to the point he was powered off and when he was repaired and powered back on he suddenly had thoughts and feelings of his own and that freaked him out so bad

Tell me more about Pirate X and Hunter Marty? :D

I have been waiting for this moment

Pirate X and Hunter Marty is a good ol’ switch au where X and Marty switch roles. Not personalities, absolutely not, but only roles.

Basically, Marty is a Maverick Hunter and Zero’s best friend at the time (oh, sue me later, hear me out lol). X has had to fend for himself for most of his life. Now, he is a Lightbot, but he wasn’t found by Dr. Cain. He just woke up; lost, alone and afraid. Marty is a Lalinde creation. She’s woken up and found by Dr. Cain in the remnants of Lalinde’s lab. Reploids are based off of Marty, instead of X. She’s referred to as the Mother of Reploids.

Like how many people headcanon, yes, she joins the Hunters and fights alongside Zero, who had his whole fiasco with Sigma beforehand and is now working so he doesn’t get thrown in jail or decommissioned.

X owns a pirate ship and travels along the seven seas, but reserves and resides in the docks of Able City.

X and Marty meet, hit it off at some point, and then have to go on a mission together due to unfortunate circumstances. X is super against it, not being a fighter at all, he’s pretty much a civilian. He knows how to fight, yes, but will he? Not exactly. Not until the very last sec where it really matters.
