#okay but on that note tho i didn’t know that was a trigger for me#like charlie is one of the worst stalker characters from anything ever but he’s also my fav in always sunny#i think it’s just bc i have different ways to mentally prepare for different things#which is why i still click ‘read’ for posts i’ve blacklisted#sometimes a little heads up is all it takes!#yeah idk that rly just took me off guard in the worst way possible bc you don’t expect that in a kid’s show#like ‘clingy gf’ is a common trope and i did know abt it going in#but i think it was just hal’s reactions and the dismissive tone of it that made me switch gears#idk how to explain it was like watching a car crash happen in slow motion (hey i get that now!)#this was a weird lesson to learn in real time but at least i know now#and now i Can mentally prepare moving forward#if i had a nickel for weird trauma lessons directly involving hal i’d have 2 nickels#and boy oh boy i sure do hope it stops at 10¢#danbles#cw stalking
