turns out the "neurotypicals never ask for anything directly" problem does in fact extend to video games. got stuck in animal crossing for three days bc i didn't realise tom nook was asking me for help with something

#literally he said something along the lines of like #'hmmm.... I'll have to get this that and this done...... i hope i can rely on your help again!'#i thought he said that to thank me for already helping him #not him directly stating 'help me with this new thing now too'#like you just said YOU were going to get those things done..........#plus half the time he literally DOES do the stuff on his own and he mentioned stuff the player CAN'T do in the same sentence #like 'oh we'll have to find plots and get materials and build them...' bestie all i do is find plots the rest of that's you #separate your tasks and my tasks so i know WHAT YOU WANT ME TO DO-
