watched Old (as in the beach that makes you old) and it was NOT what I was expecting. Was more enjoyablw than I thought it'd be. There were some things I think weren't presented/handled as well as they could have been (more in a "coulda done this better" way than a "bigotry or stereotyping" way) but all the things I thought were eye-rolling or only there for the sake of being there actually ended up being relevant. They did start a new thread in the last 5 minutes that they didn't go anywhere with. Also the whole [major spoiler literally the answer/solution to all of it] made no sense, honestly as well as [major spoiler that is the reason for everything in the film]. Now obviously all that is just a backdrop for the main focus which is the horror aspect, but still it does kinda suck when the story doesn't make sense in the areas of "why this is happening" and "how they solve the problem."
