Definitely experienced more blatant directed homophobia today than I probably ever have before so that's fun
#ramblings of an arrow#I shouldn't be laughing but like#the lady that crossed herself and then said 'go back to hell where you belong'#and kept saying things insinuating that either I was a demon#or possessed by one#was just... so much#like I think she was trying to exorcise me and my wife in the thrift store??#and then had to uhhh sit thru a sermon b/c my parents were in town#this one does not make me laugh#it was... it was so bad#i couldn't tell if the pastor preaching it kept looking at me when he was talking about queer ppl too#b/c i was definitely the most overtly queer looking person in that church#talking abt how queer ppl are going to hell but like u gotta be nice to them anyways#b/c maybe if you're nicies to them they'll convert#how about you fuck right off sir#if my parents and in laws weren't there I would've walked out#or kissed my wife full on the mouth in front of everyone#it was just....... extremely upsetting#SO YEAH HAD A FUN DAY TODAY#lots of homophobia#the terrible part is that it's almost surprising none of it was from my parents
