#like I’ve never been to a gay club cuz I’m from the suburban Midwest and haven’t had the opportunity#but the way they get SO OFFENDED at the thought that gay people don’t want a bunch of straight people invading their spaces#like no we don’t actually mind if you’re there with your gay friends#no we are not going to start policing people and asking people’s identities before letting them in#but straight men going to lesbian bars and hitting on women there#and straight girls having parties at gay bars#that is what we don’t want#and if you can’t respect that then you don’t respect us so why the hell would we want you there???#someone literally responded to a tweet about it with ‘the gay people should stay out of straight spaces’ like ????#y’all been TRYING#the whole world is a straight space yall been pushing us out of#so we started our own and now you want THAT too#ugh it’s so ANNOYING
