Kinda wish the game didn't worry so much about all the character's having "balanced" stats and just gave them stats that seem appropriate.

Give Wyll 12 strength. Who cares?

Have Halsin's lowest stat be a 13. Why not?

Let Jaheira start with 18 wisdom. Fuck it.

It's a mistake to think that having all decent/good stats is going to make a character broken. What use does a wizard have for strength? What use does a druid have for charisma? What use does a rogue have for wisdom?

Halsin has 8 intelligence because he "needs" a dump stat. Why? Would him having a decent intelligence score make him overpowered? Would him having decent strength make him overpowered? No. Literally Halsin could have a minimum of 12 in every stat and he'd be exactly as good as he is already, it would just make more sense character-wise.
