#i do believe people experience symptoms that align with what is considered a personality disorder#what i don't believe is that is something easily pathologized that is permanent state or way of thinking#which ive noticed people weild personality disorders as if it's as such#like a neurological disability and not a symptom of more complex issues stemming from both nature and nurture#it's the new hysteria#an easy way to say we won't treat you because you're just like that#and worse still people with aforementioned diagnoses say#i have this pd which means i am just like that and i won't be held accountable or try to grow because i was told its pathologic#it's broader and more complicated#it's trauma#it's neurodivergency#it's systemic oppression#its responding to alienation#its hostile conditioning#it is not an identity
