Okay so I imagine they'd be real in the universe where Chidori died. Mitsuru would catch him upset one night and they'd talk about it, and then after that they would start hanging out more and growing closer. Junpei finds himself having feelings for Mitsuru and Mitsuru feels the same way, but their relationship isn't all too healthy at first. Junpei thinks Mitsuru is very similar to Chidori and it's why he had developed a crush on her in the first place. He tells someone this and is like "oh fuck" so tries to better himself, but he still cares about Mitsuru even if he doesn't imagine her as Chidori's replacement. I know I sound so crazy but please this could be cute, pleaseeeee mutuals don't despise me <3
