like again 😭 ik its not the case everywhere. but in england, in particular, like... there are a lot of ppl who ARE genuinely very for the queen. like dont let anecdotes you see online fool you, or curated online environments make u think everyone is laughing. unfortunately that is not the case... & instead, i'd wager the majority of england (i say specifically, bc i doubt such a majority extends to the rest of the uk) are in the "you can't say anything bad abt her / it's disrespectful now she's gone" camp at BEST... & at worst they revere the woman.

#Egg.txt #like remember... what decisions this country has been making for the past few years? yeah.#a lot of them guided by uhm. the most moronic brand of nationalism #& this is abt the rail strikes btw bc idk if i made it clear like-#yes yes yes i agreeeee like you do have to have abackbone and all that but theres a difference between like #amassing enough ppl to push for change & challenging those around you and like...#making a stand NOW when you will be ripped to pieces....#like nowhere is at its weakest. idk what that person was on.#maybe the MONARCHY is going to be going into its weakest soon with charles in charge and we can challenge that #but the freaking rail strikes? who are already slated by EVERYONE ? come on...#like itsfine i get why some ppl may get the impression that #a lot more ppl are against the monarchy than there are really #but yeah... no #at least not when it comes to elizabeth ii (who a lot of ppl still like #even if they dont care abt the royals bc ''shes a sweet old lady'')#and not eright after her death ppl wont sit for it man ... -_-#it stinks but its trueee
