I know in my heart that kiryu used to steal nishikis clothes back when they were housemates (orphanage mates , and before he outgrew him) because he is a freeloader
#Yakuza loveblog#and hes only like that with nishiki because he loves him so much and takes all his things#kiryu is independent (hellp im trapped inside the necklace im independent) until he sees nishiki and then he makes him pay for everything#and choose where to go and what to eat while he trots behind him and deviates only to beat people up#i do think kiryu is curt and snappish and unruly and unreceptive but hes not like that with his besties hes pretty eager to please ....#and he can justify literally anything if hes in the right mood for it#shut up im not letting you tout your overpriced rags at this bar. and then he bests up the towel guy#like that was a pretty bizarre thing to say but i guess he might have had a similar experience in the past and it hit a nerve#like kiryu is still rude to his friends but hes so pliant when hes with his besties of all time and he wants to do what they want to do ...#my favourite kiryu fact is that he was about to skip yumis birthday party because he forgot to buy her a gift and nishiki was like HAH i#preordered this six months in advance and pulls out a beautiful diamond necklace. like kiryu is so lucky yhe universe is alwaysaligned tohim#hes not big on embarrassing himself like majima is but he still manages to do it every single day
